+ -1 moreThe tree to be removed was a very tall maple with an umbrella that covered a large part of the house. The crew did an outstanding job! They called before they arrived and were very polite. They placed plywood down on the ground all the way to the back of the house so that their equipment wouldn't tear up the grass. They removed the tree and grinded the stump in pretty short order; then they cleaned everything up. You wouldn't have known there was a tree or a crew there at all after they left. The price was definitely competitive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BID BRANCH!!!

+ 0 moreAwesome. These guys are VERY professional. We had two large oak trees removed and 12 other trees were trimmed back. They removed all of the debris. With the exception of the trees looking great, it didn't even look like anyone had been here. Will definitely hire them again.

+ -1 moreFrom beginning to end i could not have been more pleased. Chris is very knowledgeable and safety conscience & Carlee was very receptive on keeping us informed. Poppa & Momma Klaas should be very happy to know that they are professional and the work ethics are there to carry this Family Business into the future. The crew took the time to make sure a sentimental fruit tree was not damaged even though 4 of the trees were close to it. My neighbors even commented how "Professional" and polite they were and this is a testament to how this business is run. The clean-up was spot on and the overall experience was phenomenal. I have already and will continue to praise the work, the people of this company to others with no hesitations. Much Thanks for a job very well done

+ -1 moreThey were there when they said they would be. They cut big pine down, ground the stump, raked, blew off my driveway and hauled away all debris. They did not mess up any grass with equipment. This is my third time using Big Branch and I would certainly recommend them to others and use them again without question. Great experience every time.

+ -1 moreIt went very well -- sort of like a "well oiled machine". Everyone was very professional and knew what they were doing. I even had them trim/clean out several other trees in preparation for hurricane season. I would definitely recommend them.

They were able to remove 2 of 3 trees that were kind of tangled up together, 2 were in bad shape and the other was still good, we wanted to keep the good one. They are polite and professional, did great work and worked hard. They even gave us some tips on maintenance on our other trees and really had great knowledge. They did a great job of protecting the rest of the yard from damage since they had to bring in a bucket lift, plus their expertise when cutting the tress was very impressive. I highly recommend them to others

+ -1 moreOn 6/6/17 I called Big Branch Tree Service based on the reviews posted on Angie's List and had to leave a message for a return call. Later that morning Carlee called me back and said that Chris would call with a date and time for an estimate that same day. On 6/7 I had not heard from Chris so I called back and was told by Carlee that she would get with Chris and have him call me with a time for 6/8 to give me the estimate. On 6/8 still I still had not heard from anyone or even a courtesy call to say they were extremely busy due to storm damage. I have since gone with another company that was responsive and returned my phone calls. Customer service is of utmost importance to me since that is the business I have been in my entire career.

Description of Work: We contacted the provider with a specific project and they came on site. They were cordial and professional and provided a verbal price for the work to be done. Their pricing was very competitive and we cancelled work with another provider based on their price and commitment to get the job done within a specific timeframe. We had other work scheduled after theirs so other vendors were scheduled based on this commitment. The day the work was to be performed, we were told an emergency service had to be performed for someone else so our project had to be rescheduled. We were not told when we would be rescheduled. After repeated attempts to find out when we would be rescheduled we were finally told that other jobs were a priority because they had cranes tied to them and as of this morning I still do not have a new date. I cancelled the project and went with the other provider this morning. I was left with the impression that our job was not a priority. I'm sure they do good work from the other reviews I looked at, but this was a very frustrating interaction for me. I also never received a formal quote and I asked for one several times.

Their ability to cut these trees down in a limited area was amazing. Very impressed. Was the best price of multiple offers we received and did an amazing job. Cleaned up entire project and were in and out in a single day. Would recommend to anyone and already have.
Description of Work: Removed two 75 foot pines from backyard next to screened in pool area, removed to other large 8 and 10 foot "stumps" and then ground up all four remaining stumps.

They are so polite and very professional. We couldn't have ask for any better service they provided for us. They raked the entire area and left nothing behind. I am so very glad we chose this company to do this job for us. Their price was the best we got. I will definitely use them in the future. Once again they were fantastic.

+ -1 moreI wish there was an A+++ rating for this company for the job they did for me. They did an EXCELLENT JOB. I had 4 large pine trees in a fairly small yard. Two of the pine trees were extremely close to my screened in patio and fence and I was concerned about how hard it would be to take these trees out without hitting the patio or fence. One tree was only 6 inches from the patio. The workers took down both trees without doing any damage to the patio or any of the fence. It took some planning and and also some very hard work, but it got done and done well. The other 2 trees were much easier to take down as there was more room to work. The workers cleaned up the branches and pine cones and left the yard in good shape. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs tree work done as they do an excellent and professional job. l

+ -1 moreWe hired Big Branch to remove a pine tree in our back yard. During the estimate I asked if our travel trailer would be in the way and was told no. When they arrived to remove the tree I asked again if they would like the camper move (it was over 30ft away from base of tree to hitch of camper), again I was told no, it was fine. Well it wasn't. Since they didn't limb all of the tree it was lean heavy on one side and instead of going the direction they had it pulled to, it pivoted and went right on top of my camper. Their insurance paid to have it fixed with no problem and not once did either of the two men working try to argue that it wasn't their fault that it happened.
