Browning discussed both a standard AC system and the mini-split system. Many other companies did not want to even discuss the mini-split system even though that is the system I was leaning towards. Work was performed on time and in budget, even though a lot of physical labor was required to dig through roots to install the lines. I have recommended Browning to friends and they also have had great service. If you are going to get mini-splits then you really need to at least have Browning come out and discuss options. They are the most knowledgeable mini-split dealers around.

They are so far so good. I don't know the final end results. Mark Browning is the owner of the company and he's just a wonderful individual. He's just very professional and extremely nice. He seems to be very competent. They came yesterday and did the preliminary work and now the electrician is here and running the power to the compressor. Hop fully by noon it is probably ought to be wrapped up. They are very responsive and professional. They are just nice and good people. The owner just seems like a genuinely good person. They obviously are very knowledgeable about their product and they share that with me and make me feel confident as well as secure that they are going to do a good job. They assure me that they are going to get me the right type of product I need. Their price was competitive.

I recommend him a million percent. He did a really good job for me, and I also used him in all of my business work and he is an excellent contractor. I would highly recommend him. Mark is extremely professional and personable. With him you do not feel like you are being gouged, you feel like you have gotten your moneys worth when he does the job. He is there when he says he is coming. He comes in, assesses the job, gets what he needs, comes in and he does it, gets it done, cleans it all up and he is gone. He is fast, professional, good personality and fair price. I have been using him for years.

I heat/cool my entire small cottage with a through-the-wall heat pump. It stopped working in the middle of a heat wave, and I had a very difficult time finding someone willing to repair it---most ac contractors don't like to get involved with these small units and recommend replacing them. I couldn't afford to do that, and was finally led to Browning Heating and Air by another Angie's List "A" rated contractor, Precision Tech. I want to compliment them as well because after several other companies simply refused, they were very sympathetic but explained that they just didn't handle small jobs like this. They went the extra step of recommending a competitor that they thought might help me out, Browning Heating and Air. I just can't say enough about the way Mark Browning conducts his business. He came out the same day, and was met with the fluke occurrence of an area wide hours -long power failure. (I mention this only because he drove 25 miles to get here at the end of a long day, and then refused when I offered to pay him for his inconvenience, saying that it was something beyond my control. I don't know of anyone else who would have done that.) When he came back the next day, it had to be over 90° in here, and when he diagnosed that the problem was a burned-out breaker that had also damaged the power cord, he drove the 25 miles back to Gainesville to get a temporary replacement cord so I'd have air conditioning that day---something else I don't think anyone else would have done. He had to come back one additional time with the correct size replacement breaker and to install the factory power cord that I special ordered. I have never dealt with a more ethical and compassionate contractor. I totally understand now why none of the other contractors wanted anything to do with my repair, but I just thank goodness that the philosophy of this company is to put helping people first.

Wonderful. Plainless. We have worked with Mark Browning for several years on commercial and residential a/c and heating and various other things he and his company have been able to do for us. Always gives excellent prices and very prompt. Employees are friendly and you feel safe having them on your property.

Mark is very professional, personal, and honest. He will try to give you the best options for your needs and doesn't over-sell anything. Always available! I recommend him to everyone that asks and use him exclusively for all of my properties.
