Yapi Group

Strange name begets strange service. The inspector was Oz Yapig. Their website says they are caring, but they really could care less. The inspector left a sliding glass door open (which caused us a security concern). The inspector left water running in the tub at full blast (which increased the bill) and shut off the water to the other bathroom toilet and never turned it back on (which caused somebody to think it was broken). Yapi group does not care about the American golden rule. Do unto others as you would like them to do to you. Surely you would not be so inconsiderate in your own house. FAIL! P.S. I cannot find YAPI group on sunbiz.org as a real company either..

Criticizing someone is never easy and it can hurt, but if Omer Zeyrek welcomes this feed back and interprete it in a positive way I am confident he will povide much better quality service and succeed in his industry. As a rule of thumb, I believe that all contractors and companies who provide service to the public, should have much higher communication and people skills. Maybe I met Omer Zeyrek in one of his worst days, but based on my personal experience , I believe he is very arrogant, rude and unprofessional. I would like to remind Omer that it doesn't hurt to be HUMBLE, pleasant and respectful and answer all his customers' concerns and questions, specially if he is paid to provide a service. I would also like to remind him that some of his customers might also have high education and degrees but regardless he shouldn't treat ANY of them no less. Education and degrees are tools that should help you make positive impact and difference in people's life, not a synonym to post on a business card or brag about. I hope this feedback will help Mr Zeyrek n his endeavour and wish him good luck.

Very professional and honest. Was on time and results were received very fast.

The main guy, Omar, was very knowledgeable. He has a couple of PhDs and things like that. He is very extremely knowledgeable in what he is doing. That is the main thing that stood out to me.

The inspector was prompt, provided professional conduct, was flexible and supportive.

He was easy to contact. Flexible with time and date. He was punctual for the appointment and was very thorough. He issued the report in 48 hours as promised.

He was incredibly thorough and professional. Both reports were completed within 24 hours of the inspection. He was patient with my naive, first-time home buyer questions, and even did a 4 point inspection plan for my insurance quote for free.

In the inspection report, they claimed damages would amount to $6000, which we assumed was a reasonable amount. We decided to buy the home. Throughout our first year in the home, one thing after another has broken or gone wrong (air conditioning units not up to code, mechanical doors that concurrently fail, a malfunctioning garage door, bad electrical configuring of the lights in the garage, a poorly connected dryer, a bad paint job that resulted in water damage and mold issues, humidity problems, roof leaks and other problems), all issues Yapi should have recognized in its inspection. The total damages have amounted to over $100,000.

You should definitely hire this home inspector. He charges a little more than the guy who took a week long course to be a home inspector but you get what you pay for. He was prompt in confirming the appointment, is available by both email and phone, and showed up to the appointment on-time. He spent several hours doing the inspection and prepared a very detailed report with photos. The report was done within the time promised. I also ask for some follow up with him and he complied with my request. Omer is both an engineer and a general contractor and I cannot imagine anyone using someone without such qualifications for a potential purchase of a home, which is usually a person's biggest lifetime investment.

Omer Zeyrek is the best home inspector, I have ever used. Other people speak highly of him and I recommend him. He has a degree in engineering and is very thorough. He is also friendly and professional.
