On time for all appointments. were careful of our property. Rosa Santiago, their representative, went above and beyond in service to us. Couldn't have been more pleased. One piece of advice: get the list of things to be removed from the property far enough in advance so that you can cull products from your kitchen, bathroom and medicine cabinets.

Their service is okay. They notify me in advance when they are coming and they always do show up. I find that good and unusual for pest control companies around here. I am satisfied with them.

When I bought this house it needed a tent. We inherited the debt to do the tent. I kept the contract up since it was cheaper to have a contract than to have a tent put on if it is needed.

I have used them in both my home and a commercial building. They have a really nice staff. You can always have the same person. They are very thorough in their follow up. I am very satisfied with them.

I believe we got them from Angie's List. They did termite extermination when we first bought the house a year ago. We have a lot of ants so they come out twice a month. They came out whenever need be. It's an annual contract that we have with them. They've been great. I literally call them in the morning before they could carry off my kids and they are here in the afternoon.

This Company has several different operations that they do. We are very happy with them. It is very important to have a good pest control people because in Florida there is biology of bugs. They also do lawn treatment. They are very good with that. It is the termites that we have had some concern about. We have policy with this company and it includes responsibility for termite treatment. They don’t recommend that unless it is necessary as they are going to pay for it not us. My wife is concerned and feels it may not be necessary to undertake this. But the other two services are on specially the general pest control which I have been having for several years. They are very responsive and they come in between and check things out. I am very happy with that I highly recommend them. I would use them in the future.

The number in the Angie's List listing took me to a national office, which then referred me to Oswald Simpson, who works with the Cooper City office of Truly Nolan (12399 SW 53rd Street, Suite 104, Cooper City, FL 33330). Mr. Simpson described the services I was interested in (termite and pest extermination), and set up a date for an inspection, which was within a week. The property I wanted treated was a rental property, and my tenant, who is a good and reliable person, told me that Mr. Simpson did a thorough inspection and was polite to her. (Note: I live too far away from the property to be there in person for the inspection or the treatment.) After the inspection, Mr. Simpson described the costs for the services I wanted, and mailed the appropriate contracts to me. (He offered to come meet with me, but it was more convenient for me to handle this by mail.) I confirmed the contracts were filled out correctly, signed them, and mailed them back to Mr. Simpson with an Angie's List coupon ($75 credit towards the termite plan, and $35 credit towards the pest control plan) and my check. About a week later, Truly Nolan performed the termite treatment and the first pest control treatment. My tenant reported to me that the persons performing the treatment appeared to take their time and do a thorough job. She also said they were polite and cleaned up after themselves. As well, she reported to me that the ants who had been appearing around the baseboard in one of the rooms were gone.

I've dealt with two people. The first one provided an estimate and explained the program. The second one provided the service and follow-up. Both of them were very friendly and professional. Although they assured us that everything they use to combat the pests are safe for the whole family, they took extra care to minimize the use of the products in areas where our child spends a lot of time.

Not a good experience... A waste of time

I've decided to have them come out quarterly to service inside/outside my home.

They were fast to come home and took their holiday fast. They were pretty concerned about me understanding the entire process. They were knowledgeable.

My home was overrun with ants and they were starting to infiltrate my kitchen and bedroom. My initial contact with the company was professional and they arrived on-time. Timeliness is a big concern for me because of my work hours and they did not disappoint. The treatment was explained thoroughly and I was encouraged to ask questions. I was so impressed with them that I arranged for a year's worth of treatment. Plus, I got a thank-you card in the mail and I cannot remember the last time a company expressed appreciation for my business!

It went well. However, the tenting was done by a subcontractor who arrived at the house around 1:30 in the afternoon on the day of the fumigation. So they were earlier than anticipated. The fumigators came around 5 PM. They applied the gas. On the following day, I expected the house to remain closed and tented for 24 hours, the tent was removed about 1:30 or 2 in the afternoon. Three hours sooner than expected. I called the salesman from Truly Nolan to voice my concern. He said that it was within the stated amount of time in the contract. I checked the contract and he was right. However, I expected the house to remain exposed to the gas for 24 hours. In all, the workers did not damage any tiles in the roof. This is what I feared the most, roof damage. Since the fumigation we have not seen any termites.

I have a quarterly pest control service check from them. If I see anything in the meantime, I can call them and they come right out. Ed is my technician and is the best!

I called Truly Nolen to set up an appointment with an Inspector. I was given the Inspector's name, Miguel Fernandez, and told that he would call to set up an appointment. Within the day I was called and set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment Mr. Fernandez called and said that he was in the area and wondered if he could come earlier. Since I was home it was not a problem. He arrived introduced himself and went on to explain what he would be doing as far as the inspection. He also permitted me to show him different things that I had noticed in terms of termite/pest damage. Once he completed his inspection, inside and out he sat down to explain the different types of treatments and how they would be applied to the home. He answered all my many questions and concerns throughout his presentation. He explained the different options as far as the cost of the different options and patiently waited as I made decisions as to payments etc. He was very gracious throughout and patient and tolerant with my need for him to clarify whatever I didn't understand. Once the necessary decisions were made and forms signed Mr. Fernandez called his office to set up the appointments taking into consideration the day that would work for me. On the day of the appointment the technician doing the termite treatment called to give an expected time of arrival and stated that he would call when he was 10 minutes from the arrival time. As promised he called and then arrived a short time later. Ron was polite and pleasant. He explained what he would be doing and where he would need to have access in order to get the job done. He gave an approximate time in which he expected to get the job done. He also answered questions very knowledgeably. He proceeded to work diligently and was careful to clean up as he went along. It was a pleasant and reassuring experience to have someone who seemed to know what he was doing. At the end of the treatment he cleaned up and had me sign the necessary paperwork then left. In the afternoon of the same day the gentleman for the pest control arrived. Joel also explained how he would proceed to do his job. He was focused on what he was doing, but still answered questions and completed his work quickly, asking for access to the different areas that he needed to treat. Overall, it was a good experience.

They are good at bug control, but when we hired them to take care of the rat problem, they had no idea what they were doing. They didn't seal the entry points correctly. They kept charging for every visit for a job that wasn't even done. They didn't come out and check like they said and it got so bad we had to stay in a hotel.

We always get the same guy, he knows the house and is responsible. He always asks us questions and shows that is interested about any specific problems he might need to address when he's here. They always call ahead of time and show up when they re supposed to.

I have no complaints with this company. They got rid of the ants right away and they haven't come back. This is a good, dependable company.

This was a very bad experience for me. They weren't supposed to spray outside my house. The man broke my 8' poinsettia and broke a glass canister that was dear to my heart. This man had been transferred from another Truly Nolen location. He left a mess. I complained, but the manager never called me back. I didn't pay them.

Truly Nolen Pest Control will come quarterly unless I call them and then they will come to take care of any problems for free. I have tried other companies but Truly Nolen has been the most effective for me.

They failed to deal with the problem and come right away. There are still cockroaches in the house. They have been unresponsive to my calls.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD PEST CONTROL COMPANY. I HAVE USED THEM FOR THIRTEEN YEARS, AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

THEY MADE SURE TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME SO THAT I DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS AND I REALLY LIKED THAT. THEY WERE EXPENSIVE, BUT THEY FOUND THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM AND TOOK CARE OF IT VERY WELL.
