Wilson is very knowledgeable in what he does. He explains in great detail what you are getting. He made sure that everything that we spoke about was getting done. He reassures you that everything will come out to your expectations. My wife and I were very satisfied with the work and price.

From the estimate to the final invoice, Wilson was hands down the most communicative and professional business owner we have worked with here in Miami! He always answered our questions via email or text promptly (most of the time within minutes), and if he was going to be unavailable for a little bit he let us know beforehand. The entire crew of Tropical Oasis was professional and polite, and their knowledge and skill are evident in the precision and craftsmanship of their work. Any little thing we pointed out (and there were only minor things), Wilson had corrected immediately. The only negative with the project, if we had to find one, is that our lawn (which admittedly wasn't spectacular to begin with) is a little the worse for wear because of the sand pile and old pool debris that had to be placed there during the project. However, we don't see how this could have been avoided given that the sand had to go somewhere and it was better there than in our driveway. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the results of our pool renovation and are very happy to recommend Wilson and Tropical Oasis without hesitation!

They came out quickly, found the leak with an underwater microphone, quoted the job to replace the leaking skimmer, Dug out the skimmer, replaced with a new one, fixed the leak, repaired the concrete deck.. Job looks great. Kept me informed and did a good job.

Appointment was 9-10am, company called 11:50am to let me know they were running late and apologize (in the area they were it could take them 45-60 more minutes). Punctuality is a must for me and unfortunately I could not stay, and unwilling for the risk of this being repeated during the job.

Wilson and his team did an excellent job. There were some issues that I brought to his attention and I can tell you that his team was quick to respond. They take customer service very seriously! This is a family run business. Wilson's father Pablo was very nice to work with. I was so happy with the results that I have hired them to provide the monthly maintenance service on the pool.

I can probably write a book about the nightmares we had building our pool and more so after the pool was finished. The first contractor we hired left the State leaving more than 35 pools unfinished and taking everyone's deposits with her. The second contractor did a horrible job installing the River Rock finish we had requested and refused to fix the work after the manufacturer of the product reported a faulty installation. So we needed to find a new contractor to remove the River Rock plaster and install the same material again. With a heart full of doubt I started doing my homework looking for a certified River Rock installer. I checked Angie's List, The Better Business Bureau and I read all the reviews. After much research, my husband and I met with Wilson and immediately noticed how knowledgeable he was. What impressed me the most was his honesty, he was not saying what we wanted to hear, he was saying how things were and what needed to be done. We met with two other companies whom went on and on about problems we knew our pool didn't have. We hired Tropical Oasis and from there on our peace of mind returned. His crew did an incredible job. Wilson and his dad who is a sweet experienced man were always supervising the job and in contact with us. Wilson answered all my questions through the process of fixing my pool. Poor guy I most have texted him 25 times and probably 15 were about the same thing but he was calmed and each time replied with details. The job on my pool was completed in 3 days and my pool looks amazing. Honesty is the best atribute and Wilson delivered what he promised, when he promised. I highly recommend this company. There are still good people out there doing a good job. My husband and I are very much satisfied with the work performed.

We chose to work with Wilson and family out of three quotes we requested. They came across very professional and responsive. One of the other contractors suggestion we sandblast the pool as it was an old 60ies installed pool. According to Wilson we did not need that. The pool was resurfaced September 2011, but soon after two brown stains, a growing stain under the light appeared. After spot treatment and a complete acid wash it did not solve the problem. They realized something went wrong on their end and re-did the pool completely. They found two apricots as well, and we were explained the acid wash was done too fast after installation the first time by his crew, but Wilson remained evasive confirming this. Since we were wary after the mess up the first time we asked them to redo the pool to the point of where we can maintain it with the salt water system. They refused and we ended up having to deal with the restart - we followed your online instructions and got it all balanced and back on salt after 4 weeks. Unfortunately the two stains came back and the pool surface has never been very good. SGM/Diamondbrite came out and found some scaling, and recommended an acid wash. We did get two pool maintenance companies to come out and both said something went wrong with installation of the diamondbrite. I understand they have to run a business and they already burned themselves on this project by having to do the resurfacing twice. Unfortunately we never got a good product and we are looking to resurface again this year (5 years earlier due to the acid washing we had to do). I realize I submit this 5years late, but came across their name while looking for pool contractors.

These guys are great. Both Wilson and Harold were both very professional. I called them on a busy day, but Wilson figured out a way to squeeze us into the schedule and get the work done quickly. Harold took his time doing the work and left things looking good as new. He took his time to walk me through the work and explain a series of other things I should be aware of with the pool. I would no doubt use them again and recommend their services. I plan on using them later this year for a larger scale project. Great experience!

Wilson was very professional with prompt phone calls and follow-up. His techinician Harold was professional and on time. The fountain light was never fixed that day through no fault of Tropical Oasis Pool. Harold tried his best to remedy the situation but it was lack of information on my part. After spending an hour trying to rectify the problem, I told Harold that I would set up another appointment when I figured it all out. After all that, he didn't charge me! Amazing! A company that returns your call, shows up on time then doesn't charge for a service call unless the problem is solved. I will definitely call them back. A+++++++

Went well. Wilson answered my questions and concerns as I had many since this was a huge project. The workers were very nice and considerate. And I can say the pool came out great. As you shop around, you should definitely call Wilson from tropical oasis to get a quote.

I called them on Friday, their response time was fast and very professional. I schedule an appointment for them to check my old and bad pool pump. The tech was extremely professional and friendly giving me all options and even suggested a better way to run the pluming. I had already contacted 2 other vendors Tropical Oasis Pool had not only the best price but the best response and didn't charged me a penny for the estimate (spend $99 with other vendor). They did the job on Tuesday and it took them less than 1 hour, the tech guy clean up after him self leaving the property better to how he found it. I highly recommend them to friends and family.

Wilson is on time and professional in all aspects of the job from first call to turning the pool over. He is the owner and only contact, no sales reps etc. His crew did excellent work cleaned up nicely and were concerned with quality. Wilson helped us design, with suggestions for new tanning ledge shape and water depth, surface materials, tile, lights etc. He communicated readily via phone, e-mail and text, answered every question and we always knew what the status of the job was. He was ready to start in about 2 weeks, as soon as permits were ready and finished within the timeline. This was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this pool company. We selected this company nervously from Angie's list alone without many references. Angie's list and Tropical Oasis did not disappoint.

The job was somewhat complex as the house and pool had been abandoned for a long time. Wilson understood the needs, addressed the issues, and got the job done - cordial, on-time, and spoke of long-term options. In short, top--notch service. Wilson, thanks.

It was okay. They are the first ones that I contacted when I moved to that house. They came right away and told me what the problem was.

Wilson, the estimator, showed up on time and after I had to delay a month, came back again and noted the finish was too rough and needed sandblasting. Sandblasting was $800, the same price I had paid 28-years-ago. Tiles were chipped out and that part was a bit more expensive than I had planned, but that is the only part that was a bit pricey at $1100, but it is a large, 20' x 40' pool. So, the price probably reflected the large area to be completed. Tiles were set in one day and a great job was done. The Diamond Brite was also reasonable at $3500. I had a Diamond Brite finish installed about 15-years-ago and I think it was $2200 at the time, so the price had not really gone up too much. A crack under the coping was also filled and patched for only $150. The plaster crew came-and-went in one day, and left the pool to fill up and instructions were given along the way. Overall, I was very satisfied, especially with cleanup. There were white plaster spots on my red-brick-paver pool deck and the spots were cleaned off two-days later and the job site left clean. Overall I was very satisfied and Tropical Oasis Pool got a lot of work done and the job went smoothly and was finished in less than a week.
