The timeline was 3-4 weeks and we added to the original scope of work which added a few days. They did the work as scheduled, and the final punch list was a few items taken care of within 2-3 days. Very punctual and good trades people to work with.

Overall it went well. They were punctual and professional.

The woman I initially spoke with at the office told me Ruben would be at the house at 9am. After a dozen phone calls to the office trying to find out if he was still coming, Ruben finally arrived after 3pm, took some measurements and said he would be back the following morning to do the work. I was never told the work wouldn't be completed on the first day. Ruben was diligent in fixing the crank window the following day, however, the aggravation of having to call the office so many times is something I was trying to avoid having to do and is the reason I paid for Angie's list to begin with.

It did not go because the failed to make contact as promised

Called to ask what the service was and when I was available. Came on the date of the appt at the Time stated

The service tech arrived promptly and proceeded to measure the spaces for my shelves. Only one group of shelving had brackets installed improperly so he removed them and reinstalled them. His work was clean and precise. I would call the company again for work.

Ruben was able to work around our schedule seeing that my husband and I both work. Jessica met me on my lunch hour to help select the tile. I was very satisfied with the completed job. Ruben and his workmen show excellent professionalism. I will hire them again for additional projects.

The restrictions on what type of projects that they would do were not clearly listed in the Deal. I had purchased two, hoping that they would do electrical work, but they do not do electrical work. They said that was something they didn't do as a part of this Deal, after they arrived at my home. I didn't have enough projects to keep them busy for the full 6 hours that I had paid for.

I haven't heard back from them and it has been almost a week. I would think they could at least call back and say they are busy.

When Armondo Figuredo (786-382-4260) arrived I attempted to start a conversation with him about the job to be done. He did not respond. I then asked my wife to take the soffit vents out to him (I am handicapped). She was unable to get a conversation started. I then gave him a box of 100 screws I had bought the day before. He needed just 56 with 2 screws in each. As he was leaving I asked for the remaining screws for another job. He said that he used all of the 100, but that had even used "a couple" of his own screws! Really? After drilling 2 holes in each vent he told me to return them and get cheaper ones that were pre-drilled. I knew what I wanted. I told him I could not return them with new holes drilled. He said they "would not notice"! I still refused. After he had installed a few of them he said he needed to buy another tool. After he returned he told my wife he needed to borrow a 50' extension wire. She complied. He also "borrowed" other items. He left them here, but did not return them to their original locations. I now need to hire someone to do that job. No, I do not want him back on my property. He then removed the antenna and splitter, leaving them on the ground about where they fell. He then cut the cables at the point where they entered the attic. It will be quite costly to fix this error. He did successfully transplant the palm tree without causing collateral damage. He said he could not repair the small damaged area of our ceiling because it is made of concrete rather than drywall. I am dubious that water would damage old concrete. I told him to trim the hibiscus to just below the roof line. He hatracked it instead. To my surprise, it appears that it will live. He said he could not straighten the fence rail. Another contractor easily repaired another similar problem that his crew had caused. He did replace the 2 fluorescent tubes, even though they were not on the list. We are happy about that. When he left that day it was just 5 1/2 hours after he had arrived that morning. This includes time that was taken to buy the aforementioned tool and another time that was presumably time to eat his lunch. We had paid for 6 hours of his time.

NO SHOW. JUST INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I contacted Mr. Ruben Martinez at Pro Handyman Solutions via email on May 11th 2012 to meet him so that he could see my project with painting my bathroom. He responded that since it was a coupon he does not meet prior to the actual work date and that I had to call the office. So I replied to his email the SOW so that he understood what was involved as I knew he would have to order some supplies. Anyway, we went back and forth with follow up emails even with pictures to help him see the project. I called the office last week and set up an appointment to meet with Ruben on 5/21 at 12:00pm, the date my coupon was supposed to expire!! I took the day off from work for our meeting but Mr. Ruben never showed up!! I called his office at 12:30pm, 1:00pm, and 1:30pm which only is answered by a voicemail stating they would get back to you as soon as possible. I actually saw a truck pass by my house at 12:00pm and on the back it said "PRO SOLUTIONS". I received a voicmail later that evening from the office. I returned to work on 5/22 and did not have a chance to follow up with the contractor. I received another voicemail in the evening from the office. To date I have not had any calls during the day nor emails from Mr. Ruben. I called one last time, left a voicemail, and to this day have never received a call back.

Same gentleman came, on time, completed work as desired in the allotted time. I would use them again, gladly.

After contacting about 5 contractors that I found on Angie's List, and having bad experiences with nearly all of them, Ruben and Pro Handyman Solutions came to my rescue! I recently purchased an old home in Coral Gables, FL that needed a lot of repairs and renovations and Pro Handyman Solutions is truly living up to their name. I've had a LOT of work done by Pro Handyman's team in the past 4 months including a full guest bathroom renovation and installation of bamboo flooring throughout the entire home, as well as electrical repairs, drywall repairs, exterior mortar repairs, etc. I have experienced nothing but professionalism and top quality service from Ruben and his team. They are very honest and hardworking and will make sure to utilize their team appropriately, none of these "do it all" type of guys who claim to be able to do everything, when in fact they can't do anything properly. Pro Handyman Solutions is all about doing it right and will not leave you with anything but a properly completed job, permitted and inspected. The other companies I've contacted have had a few guys and they claim to be able to do everything; electrical, plumbing, handyman work. However, when I've used these type of small outfit operations, they've messed up my electrical and nearly caused my house to burn down. Ruben's team is comprised of licensed workers, and only his certified licensed electricians will perform electrical work, and the same with plumbing and other specialty labor. In regards to the review left previously with the subject "COMPLETE FAILURE TO HONOR COMMITMENT" - I read this review and it is completely wrong and unfair because the laborer that was supposed to perform the work for that individual, was at my house that morning picking up the demolished tile and he came back for the 2nd trip after he had stepped on the nail at the landfill and was bleeding through his shoe and I told him to go to the hospital because health and well being always come before anything else, and this was not some fake excuse as that person stated, I can verify that he definitely stepped on a nail dumping my tiles! If you are looking for the best contractor and handyman team in Miami, then Pro Handyman Solutions is it, trust me, I've had experience with a lot of bad contractors, and I found them on Angie's List and they didn't live up to their reviews, but Ruben and his team absolutely will.

It went great. They had a very good attitude and were very thorough.

OUTSTANDING!!! Rueben (owner) answered my call on Mon. I needed the drywall done before Thurs. I forgot that Wed was a holiday. Rueben said the staff would be here today, (next day). Staff arrived within 1/2 hour of appointment time, ready to work. I explained the work to be done (6 jobs) and they started promptly. Made a list before they came so they could see what needed to be done and it was ticked off as completed. Armando was the thorough chief and they all worked right up to the end of the time which was also the time bought with the coupon. Not only would I use them again, I will for another job that was not on today's list. Plus, most people know at least 50 people, I know way more than that and am going to call my realtor friend to let her know of my immense satisfaction to start with plus many, many more. They cleaned up what was their debris, leaving a very satisfied new customer who will return.

See above.The handyman did work on installing cupboards well but the main job I wanted the company for and bought the coupon for the owner lied about their expertise

COMPLETE FAILURE TO HONOR COMMITMENT: On June 5, 2012 I scheduled for Mr Martinez's company Pro Handyman Solutions to install a wall A/C unit in my elderly mother's home on the morning of Thursday June 14, 2012. I confirmed all of the particulars with Mr Martinez via email and phone more than once prior to June 14th. In the early morning hours of June 14th Mr Martinez sent an email saying they would not be able to make it today (June 14) since the installer had stepped on a nail...seems like the equivalent of the grade-school excuse of "my dog ate my homework". As I explained at great length to Mr Martinez it was imperative that this be done as quickly as possible since the heat my Mother was enduring was dangerous to her. Accordingly the reason why I contacted him several times before June 14th to confirm our schedule which he confirmed. In fact I had other service providers that could have come in but I declined theri services because I had already committed to Mr Martinez. I do still believe that one's word and commitment is important, specially in business. But Mr. Martinez clearly does not live up to his commitments and makes no attempt at satisfactory alternative arrangements. I find it hard to believe that Angie's List recommends Mr Martinez or Pro Handyman Solutions and question the veracity and validity of any of the positive reviews Angie's List is reporting. I would ask that you take a serious look at your process as I am most definitely of the opinion that Angie's List has been duped.

They were excellent. Professional and on schedule. Hard to find in Miami.

Ruben called me back promptly and provided a detailed estimate the next day. I had gotten quotes from a couple of other Angie's List painters to do the entire interior of my 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse, but decided to downsize the project and only paint the essential areas to bring the cost down. Ruben was able to give a very fair price and had the painter start work within 2 days. The work took 4 days, and the results are an excellent professional paint job done quickly and without any trouble

Anmand called to conferm appt he went diligently to work, covering all requests througly. He worked for six hours with only a ten minute lunch break friendly, knowledgable and professional.
