The work was accomplished by a different company.

They requested that I take pictures of the area, instead of coming out for a free estimate like they stated they would. I waited three days, they called me back and said they gave me the wrong email to send the pictures to. I then sent them to the new email and still haven't heard anything back from them. I tried calling them several times and they never answered or returned my calls - they wasted a week of my time.

Ruben was very good. He was super professional. The paint job was immaculate. The price was competitive and it was top quality. He was patent with me in my color section. I changed my mind a few times. He wanted to make it just right. He also created some wood gates for me. He made those on-site. He made those 5 years ago and I live in a very humid area and the wood is in perfect condition. He made them every fast. He came and measured and the carpenter was here within a couple of days.

Tinez Construction dba Pro Handyman Solutions appeared at my Mother's home in Miami, Fla on July 30, 2013 for a review of property damage that required major reconstruction services. After promising to produce a TIMELY and COMPLETE estimate of ALL associated costs to repair and rebuild, Tinez Construction NEVER produced the estimate requested and another provider was subsequently contacted to perform the requested services. A COMPLETE waste of the Homeowner's time. Would NOT recommend this company to any Angie's List user.

Perfect. Entire job took approx. six hours. Very professional worker and kept a mess to a minimum.

Mr. Martinez came to give me an estimate on Wednesday afternoon. I had the quote Friday morning, work was scheduled for Monday. Mr. Martinez's crew was right on time at 8am. The work was complete by noon.

When Ruben requested the permits with the City we learned the 6ft fence we wanted was not possible for being a corner lot. We could do 4ft or try and convince the City to allow us to go to 5ft. We couldn't decide on what to do and delayed the project for several months. When we were ready to begin, Ruben and his crew begun working and the fence was up in a couple of days. They took the time to care for my hedge while working right next to them, not only by avoiding damaging the hedge but by watering them for me!

Ruben and his crew have been a life saver for us. We purchased a new home, and EVERYTHING started to break. The Pro Handyman Solutions team has helped us with every single job we have needed, from re-paving the driveway, to electrical restructuring, to getting our sprinkler system working. Their prices are fair, their crew is knowledgeable and professional, and they have done the job within the allotted time.

Rueben and his colleagues arrived early and we walked through everthing I needed done. They were effecient and very professional. Their work is top notch and they are very thorough. Could not be more pleased! I have reccommended Pro Handy Man Solutions to all my friends. Great Experience.

Went well. Initial job estimated $100.00 ended at $85.00. Showed up as agreed, with materials and completed job to satisfaction. No issues.

Reuben came over our house to give us an estimate and said it would take 1 week to get the numbers to us. We never heard back from him. If this is how he deals with customers, I can;t imagine how long it would have taken to get the actual job done.

They had someone come by and quote us for the job. The gentleman was very nice and we decided to choose them for the service. I scheduled a date and time with Jessica and we were all set. As the date of the job approached, I realized that the time/date weren't going to work. I tried contacting them to have the date change and the call went straight to voicemail. I left SEVERAL messages about 3 days straight and NO RESPONSE. They didn't even show up for the original date and time we had scheduled. EXREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DONT BOTHER TO EVEN LEAVE A VOICEMAIL!

They did a great job. They go and I pay via credit card. The service was prompt and apparently the tenant was very satisfied. The prices were fine because I called multiple people to do the job done and I compared prices so the prices were probably very good.The quality was very good. The guys that I used were great. They were very professional.

I think that this was kind of unfortunate circumstance in the sense that, I answered one of those specials and I think the person got overwhelmed so we did have the work done but it was done after the time period. But it was still bad.There were certain things that Tinez Construction / Pro Handyman Solutions did that were very good. They were things that he did that didn't last. We had to have somebody else do it. There were absolutely no extra charges other than the big deal purchase. The person was very professional. He was very accommodating. When he did one section of the work, I felt that the stand that he had made was not stable enough. So, he went back to the lumberyard and got another thing. He put it back on. There were parts of the job that were done very nicely. Everything was done. A couple of the things that they did, I had to have redone. Maybe for instance a good example was putting a doorbell on the front door. He glued it on but apparently the glue that he used didn't last for the outside. The doorbell fell after a few weeks. For certain things, they did well. For other things maybe they were too much of a hurry or the person they sent was not as experienced. The bigger things that they did, they did well. We weren't able to get the service within the time frame that was allotted for that deal but they still came afterwards and they did the same service for the same price. They didn't charge anything extra.

We had a urgent need to have a half wall removed separating our living room and dining room, as we were having new floors laid in three days. Tinez (Pro Handyman) was the only company able to come out immediately and take care of the job. There was the tear down of the wall and relocation of electrical outlets from that half-wall to the main wall. The only reason I gave a B on quality (and probably closer to an A) was that the electrical socket required a very minor adjustment by an electrician. That said, this was a rush request from us and I couldn't speak more positively about them. They even cleaned up every speck of garbage, dust, etc. and took it with them. Then, I conveniently forgot to pay them in the midst of all the work we were having done. They were very pleasant when contacting me (I promptly paid at that point). Great general contracting work - I would hire them again.

I CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND SPOKE WITH A LADY BY THE NAME OF JESSICA. WE SCHEDULED FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE FOR MONDAY, JUNE 17. SINCE THEN I HAVE CALLED THE COMPANY AND LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES BUT TO THIS DATE HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CALL BACK. THIS COMPANY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

It is working just fine. The work was done quite well. The price was good and the work was done when it was supposed to be completed.

The timeline was 3-4 weeks and we added to the original scope of work which added a few days. They did the work as scheduled, and the final punch list was a few items taken care of within 2-3 days. Very punctual and good trades people to work with.

After contacting about 5 contractors that I found on Angieslist, and having bad experiences with nearly all of them, Ruben and Pro Handyman Solutions came to my rescue! I recently purchased an old home in Coral Gables, FL that needed a lot of repairs and renovations and Pro Handyman Solutions is truly living up to their name. I've had a LOT of work done by Pro Handyman's team in the past 4 months including a full guest bathroom renovation and installation of bamboo flooring throughout the entire home, as well as electrical repairs, drywall repairs, exterior mortar repairs, etc. I have experienced nothing but professionalism and top quality service from Ruben and his team. They are very honest and hardworking and will make sure to utilize their team appropriately, none of these "do it all" type of guys who claim to be able to do everything, when in fact they can't do anything properly. Pro Handyman Solutions is all about doing it right and will not leave you with anything but a properly completed job, permitted and inspected. The other companies I've contacted have had a few guys and they claim to be able to do everything; electrical, plumbing, handyman work. However, when I've used these type of small outfit operations, they've messed up my electrical and nearly caused my house to burn down. Ruben's team is comprised of licensed workers, and only his certified licensed electricians will perform electrical work, and the same with plumbing and other specialty labor. In regards to the review left previously with the subject "COMPLETE FAILURE TO HONOR COMMITMENT" - I read this review and it is completely wrong and unfair because the laborer that was supposed to perform the work for that individual, was at my house that morning picking up the demolished tile and he came back for the 2nd trip after he had stepped on the nail at the landfill and was bleeding through his shoe and I told him to go to the hospital because health and wellbeing always come before anything else, and this was not some fake excuse as that person stated, I can verify that he definitely stepped on a nail dumping my tiles!If you are looking for the best contractor and handyman team in Miami, then Pro Handyman Solutions is it, trust me, I've had experience with a lot of bad contractors, and I found them on Angieslist and they didn't live up to their reviews, but Ruben and his team absolutely will.

This project was long overdue. About 2 decades overdue, in fact. We had procrastinated partly because we both were traveling so much for work we were concerned that the project would be "unsupervised" far too often. That said, the main reason for going so long without remodeling was because of the horror stories we had heard about contractors with regard to dependability, quality, timeliness, pricing, etc. So, every time we got close to moving forward we got enormity paralysis. Finally, however, we were forced to act because the flooring in one room was in dangerously poor shape. Thus began what turned out to be a 7 month project. We sent out 3 RFPs / Scope of Work documents and received two responses. Both were within $1,000 of each other. I selected Tinez because the professionalism and thoroughness of their proposal gave me a higher level of comfort than that of their competitor. At first, we were just going to do a fairly fast, fairly simple redo of the problematic room. Take the carpet and cheap paneling out and reinstall flooring and dry wall. When the carpet came, out we discovered that the subfloor installed by the previous owner was particle board and that it had been compromised by water. Tinez suggested pouring concrete rather than redoing the subfloor and they managed to do this without a significant increase in cost. Also, when the walls came down we realized that the electric wiring that had been installed was both unsafe and inadequate. So we decided to bring the entire room up-to-code for electric. With that decision made, it was sensible to install hi-hat lighting throughout. Since all this was going on, we asked Tinez about removing the old windows and replacing them with modern, storm resistant ones. Then we asked about removing a 4-section sliding door, reducing the size of the opening and installing storm resistant, modern french doors. At this point, we decided to turn this room into a media room, fully wired for sound and to create some significant, enclosed storage/closet space along one side of the room. The point of all this is that, as we worked with Tinez, the owners began to amaze me by: 1) Being personally at the job site every day, sometimes several times during the day 2) By having a worker or workers on the job when they said they would be there 3) By being completely flexible as we began to make changes to the planned Scope of Work 4) By suggesting changes to what we were proposing to maximize efficiency and achieve a better result 5) By not being afraid to tell us when we were thinking about something that was impractical or overly ambitious 6) By recommending both cost saving steps and materials, and also, more expensive steps and materials when they felt the end value to us warranted such At no time during the project did we feel as though Tinez was trying to push us to expand the project or "sell" us anything we didn't specifically request or that was not absolutely essential to complete the job. Since we were becoming more and more trusting of the Tinez management, we began discussing expansion of the project beyond the one room to include a bedroom, bathroom, office, hallway and the kitchen. Tinez evaluated our requests, came back with suggestions and a revised proposal. The new proposal fell within our expectations for price so we authorized the project expansion. Ultimately, we further added to the scope by adding the front entry, the living and dining rooms and more electrical upgrades. Tinez continued to respond promptly, professionally, and in a timely manner. I should note here that one of our main concerns about undertaking a renovation project was that the construction and installation quality would not be up to our expectations. I, in particular, tend to notice small details that require - at least in my opinion - additional attention to make them perfect. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Tinez not only did not push back on these, they actually noticed, brought to my attention and then remediated small imperfections that even I had not noticed. I think it was this last attribute that finally and completely won me over to continue to expand the scope and to have Tinez the sole bidder after the initial RFP. We have several more projects in the docket. One - a small one - we have already engaged Tinez to perform. The next major project will involve new construction and increasing the footprint of the dwelling. So, we are having plans drawn to submit to Tinez. Although we were VERY glad to complete the last project - no matter how competent the contractor, living in a construction zone with the noise, dust and disruption gets old after a while - we are actually excited about the next phase because we know we have found a true partner in Tinez. One we can trust to deliver a quality job at a competitive price. We give Tinez Construction and the owners, Ruben and Jessica Martinez, our highest personal and professional endorsement!
