Description of Work: About to go into a total renovation of a 2/2 apt in north Miami beach. Working thru permits now. They are not the cheapest but given we are not in Miami it was necessary to have someone more hands on. We also appreciated the design eye they have vs other contractors.

Description of Work: I contacted them twice for two different jobs. They are certainly responsive, sent me an email with more questions, all of which were covered in my initial communication. All of that to tell me that they are too busy to do it... Not sure I will give it a go again...

Description of Work: This provider is super expensive for the handy man job. They quoted me $900 for 4 minor repairs that would have costed less than $100 for the parts and 6 hours of job (usual labor cost is $45/hour , they should have quoted me around $400) but they are $500 over priced.

Description of Work: Just the facts: I set up an appointment for Ruben to come to my house and give me an estimate on replacing vanities, light fixtures and medicines cabinets in all 4 bathrooms in my house. 30 minutes after the appointed time, he called to say he was going to be 2 hours late. I thanked him for letting me know and I waited. He never showed and never called. I sent him an email telling him that I did not wish to leave a negative comment on Angie's list but that I would state just the facts. The next day he sent an email saying he would be here within the hour. He came and we discussed two options: custom made cabinets and prefab cabinets from Home Depot. He sent me an estimate for custom made cabinets and said he would be out of town for a day. I emailed him asking him for the second estimate w/ store bought cabinets. He told me it would be a couple of days and after 4 days with no communication from him I found someone else on Angie's list that is really interested, professional and punctual. I gave him the job. I am the sole caregiver for my 93 year old father. I need to hire reliable professionals when I have a job. This is no small job-minimum $5,000.00. I had another contractor tell me he was very busy and would not be available for 2 months. I really appreciated his honesty.

Description of Work: I live out of state and had to find someone who would fix my parents' front door after a robbery. Although the door could be locked from the inside with a sliding bolt, they were unable to both leave their condo because the door was damaged and could not be locked from the outside. This was an emergency situation and this Mr. Martinez responded in a timely manner and charged a fair price. They are courteous, responsive and performed in a workmanlike manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their handyman needs and will call them in the future for any of my parents' needs in the future.

He started and finished the job exactly when he said he was going to. He was pleasant to be around, we actually missed him when he was finished. I will tell all my friends about him as I am extremely happy with his work beyond my expectations! You will not go wrong with Ruben, he is a nice, honest, good-hearted person. The results of my home improvements are amazing.
