Description of Work: The Grove Handyman was convenient, clean, efficient, and polite. I had three services performed: installing a new light fixture for the outside balcony; installing a dimmer switch for the living room chandelier;and installing a new electric outlet for the master bath. (I had purchased all of the equipment, except for the electric outlet.) I would definitely use them again and I recommend them, overall. However, I would first look for a less expensive service. (I'm a big fan of the $99 for 3 hrs of "handyman work" sometimes advertised.)These tasks did not take much time--final cost: $500.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate for some misc. work, about 2 days worth probably. He & his buddy came & looked at everything & said they charge $100 an hour. I choked & said never mind. He said he would send me an estimate anyway. He never did.

+ 1 moreHe and his dad worked together and they are very nice people. They are good people, responsible and trustworthy. They were very good about meeting our needs. Compared to other's his price for baseboards was good, but the price for the windows was way too much. That was a little frustrating. They came in around 8 and 930 in the morning and left by 2, and worked slowly, so it took two and half weeks to finish the baseboards. But despite the time frame, they were very responsible and cleaned up after themselves. The knockdown texture was also not up to my standards. But they did do a very fast job on the windows, in just two and a half days. Unfortunately, one of the windows did not get finished. There is an issue with the back door frame that was replaced, it is not hanging straight and the weather strip is not sealing properly. This is an issue for a brand new door, however they did say they would come back out and fix it. We would consider using them again, depending on how the rest of the project turns out.

We already have plans to use Grove Handyman services again for small and big projects in the next few weeks. It was affordable and effectively handled. Especially Great considering we were in a pinch and gave him very little notice.
