Termite Doctor

I tried to contact this company about 5-6 times before I was able to get a call back from a technician to give me a quote. I tried and tried to give them money but they didn't seem to want it. When they were able to call, the communication was good, they were on time. However, I was far too soured from the experience to even consider what they had to say.

I had a problem, and needed a treatment for termites. Termite doctor was recommended to me by another company who couldn't treat my house, but wanted to make sure I got the treatment. They did the tent, but I still had a termite problem. I tried to call them, and left my information, but they didn't call me back. I still have a termite problem after the tent.

This company tented our home for termites but ended up causing more damage than the termites. Their employees were terribly unprofessional and the supervisors/owners Raul and his son's main concern was to collect the payment but did NOTHING when their employees damaged our new tile roof and threw away our food. After the tenting they promised to send someone to repair the roof tiles yet each time they set up to meet me (i stayed home from work 3 times) and each time they stood me up, without even the courtesy of a phone call. After weeks of excuses, they told me by phone that they have no legal obligation to repair the tiles. I reminded them that they had breached their contract when they charged our credit card the FULL amount of the service days PRIOR to the date of service, when their contract clearly specifies that only a portion will be charged as DOWN PAYMENT and the balance is charged upon completion. Obviously they have had complaints in the past and that is why they charged it all in advance. Additionally, their representative went into the property after the fumigation (without our authorization or notification) and removed and threw (in the middle of the yard to rot) plastic bags FULL of meat that was approved by their representatives to leave wrapped up in the freezer. Not only was hundreds of dollars worth of meat lost (after we were specifically told to leave them wrapped and protected in the freezer) but it rotted and had to be removed because of the smell and rodents after it sat for days in the sun. Successful businesses are built and thrive off of good, ethical practices and positive customer feedback. I would think that a good business owner would make the smart decision and pay a worker a couple hours of work to repair the damage that they caused instead of potentially developing a bad reputation in the industry and/or potential legal issues with losses and fees that would far exceed the cost of the repair? I guess not everyone practices good judgment. Overall, the company is TERRIBLE on every level...Stay clear of Terminte Doctor...

When we purchased the house the contract was already with this service provider. They check the termite traps on the outside. I think they are overpriced. They are professional. We will continue to use their services. We are locked into the contract.

I was not very happy that I had to have my home fumigated. When they began the fumigation my cat ran back toward my home and when I brought it to the attention of the foreman he said that I could not get him, because it would hold up the entire crew. When the fumigation was finished they took the tent down and my cat was dead inside. They did an okay job and I have not had any termite issues. They were much cheaper than the other companies that I found.
