Terminix - Miami -Termite & Pest Control

The sales representative Juan charged $4,500 for tenting the house for termites. I told the sales representative I was going to pay by check. So, he wrote down the routing number and account number of the check for deposit. The company called and left message on my voicemail that I was going to be sent to collections because my check bounced. As it turned out the sales representative Juan entered the routing number and account number incorrectly. His manager, David was of no help. His service recovery skills were nonexistent. Please.....BE CAREFUL when doing business with this company! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very disappointed by Terminix. From the start, the salesman was pushy and trying to up-sell at every turn. While this is his job, I really didn't have a problem with that. The tenting was scheduled without issue, however that was the only thing that went smoothly. Once The tenting was complete, I paid $2500 for the process and then was also billed $1500 for exclusion work that I was told by the sales representative was necessary after the tenting. Once I paid the money, I didn't see anyone from Terminix for a month. When I inspected my house after the tenting, I found that one of the custom made outdoor lanterns was broken, metal clips were dropped into the pool and left there staining the bottom of the pool, dirty boots were tracked across the floor and deck, garbage (coffee cups, food wrappers) were left in the back yard. I called terminix to inform them of this and no action was taken. The exclusion was suppose to include custom made metal covers to go over all the crawl spaces. I was told they would be ready a week after the tenting and I paid in advance. I waited one month and heard nothing from them. When I called, I was told they were waiting on parts to come in. I waited another week and called again, then they sent some one over who cut a metal screen and screwed it to the wall over the crawl space. there were no custom made screens or covers, in addition other areas that needed to be patched were ignored, and they forgot to cover one of the crawl spaced in the back. I paid for custom made covers and was given pieces of cut screen that could have been purchased at a local hardware store for under 100$. I called Terminix several times and no action was taken. I left messages with the sales rep, at the office and with manager and once again got no return call. I did not expect this type of treatment/fraud from a large company like terminix.

I signed up for pest control with terminix. They came at the end on May and charged me for july for new treatment and have refused to provide service I signed up at the end of may for a quarterly service, and when i called for follow up 2 weeks after, i was given the runaround for months, then was informed to schedule it online after being told 5 times that I manager will call me. It's been 4 months, no call from the manager. or appointments made. I mad one online as i was informed by my termite guy and now i am being told that i have to pay for my quarterly service when they never followed up and claim that now my quarterly service starts in July. quarterly may-aug (hello) why is a follow up considered a renewal, especially when no one even came? i specifically said inside bugs, they claim that someone came and treated outside. There was no note left, no follow up, i am still trying to schedule that follow up from May, and still no manager call back. I don't get how these people are still in business. This is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard of.

I had Terminix come out because I was worried about previous termite damage and I wanted the house tented. They told me there was a active swarm and advised to have the house tented. After I voiced my concerns about having rat holes in the soffit vents they did not advise me to investigate the possibility of rats in the attic, and what would happen if there were rats and I continued with the tenting process. The management and the workers on site before the tenting indicated no concern with the possible rat issue. They should have informed me that there was a possibility of dead rats, and now the management demonstrated by not communicating with me that the Terminix policy seems separate between there services between termites and rats and they did not give me adequate information to make that decision before we began the tenting process. I am upset with the management and the policy of Terminix, not it's employees.
