Excellent.... did everything we asked and was really good quality work.

Job was 98% completed, and contractor promised to come back the following week to complete. I foolishly paid him, and haven’t heard from him since. That was several months ago, and all attempt to contact him are not responded to. Not sure what happened.

Matt showed up on time and did a great job for a reasonable price. He showed up on time and gave me a decent price for all. I'm not done with his services yet either.

I talked to him and scheduled an appointment but he cancelled and said to reschedule but never did.

Was great from the get go. Satisfied with their professionalism and honesty. Highly recommend to friends and family often. Excellent craftsmanship and finish work very reliable and on time, up front with cost and repair estimates. Repaired my roof, redid the ceilings and floors as well as painted the whole house. Refaced kitchen cabinet and painted lowers and installed quarts counter tops. Quick on time and under budget, gave a bonus for how quick we got what we asked for. Thanks again Matt Construction!

A handy man arrived at 7AM and worked until the job was completed. The old 4 doors and frames were removed. The 4 new doors with the respective frames and trims were installed. Then the doors and trims were painted that same day. I was extremely satisfied with the job. Will definitely use them for my next project.

Needed a handyman that could finish many projects. He provided an estimate and got to work as soon as possible. 3 Light fixtures, 3 plumbing fixtures, many drywall repairs and finish work also installing doors/hardware and paint house. Did a great job and didn’t make a terrible mess. Impeccable work and finished on schedule! I liked that he was licensed and professional. A real pro with a lot of experience.

I was told by another (very good) handyman that it would be a little tricky due to the slope of the roof in the area where the fan would go. I called Matt Marra to come take a look and offer an opinion and estimate. After discussion, ended up hiring him and he came out and did the job in a day, even rerouting the electrical to make the installation look seamless and work with a switch in the wall that previously didn't seem to have a purpose. The fan works great, and his work in patching the drywall and painting also came out great.

I tried giving Matt a chance despite the negative reviews of his lack of responsiveness. He came to give us an estimate then disappeared. We wanted to do the work as soon as possible and asked to move forward. Matt does not answer his phone or return phone calls or emails. At bare minimum, in an effort to be professional, he could at least return a call and say he is too busy for more jobs; or whatever the case is. This guy comes across professional at first interaction and apparently it's down hill from there.

Pleased with the results and I hired Matt again.

He arrived on time, measured the tiles, said, "I cannot give you an estimate," left and I haven't heard from him again.

I needed to do a total remodel to a rental property I had. Issue was I lived out of State. Discuss with Matt what I wanted done. Matt executed everything to perfection. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the job Matt did. Living out of State, Matt relieve all my stress on the project. I have kitchen and bathroom totally remodel. Matt install all new flooring and painted the apartment. Matt is very professional and his works speak for itself. I highly recommend him.

Matt was very professional, punctual, and stayed well under budget. He did a great job on my kitchen and master bath and I would definitely hire him again.

I requested a quotation (with photos) via email message through Angie's List and voice mail directly to Matt's telephone number from Angie's List. Eight days have passed and I have not received a return phone call or reply to my AL message.

Poorly. Beyond taking 2 months longer than anticipated mostly thru him not showing up as he worked on other projects/homes (inspections were not hard to schedule) and poor work flow schedule ability. He demoed our bathroom in early December. Then he told us the plumber can only be scheduled 3 weeks later to do the plumbing rough in. So we had a demoed, floor opened bathroom fro 6 weeks. THAT WAS ALL he did in 6 WEEKS. Demoed---3 weeks wait for plumber-- Plumber showed up--1 week made a schedule for the inspection--another 1 finally close the floor. We failed a few inspections due to his mistakes. Also, some of the tile work was sloppy and tiles began coming unglued from the wall just two years after project completion. Our other bathroom was completed a few years prior to Matt's job yet none of those titles are coming off the wall. Overall, Matt's inefficient and distracted work and lack of long term endurance make his job performance a significant disappointment.

I emailed this provider on 12/7/15 and never received a response.

Build out was perfect. Looks like it was part of the original home.

If you know the city of miami beach you know they are ridiculous with permitting. We ran into problems once we opened the wall in my condo....we must have had 9 inspections that we did not plan for. It wasn't Matts fault, the building was old, the city made us fire proof the bathroom---which I don't know why my unit has to be fireproofed if the other 600 units in the building were not...and Matt was the type to just keep going and getting it done. In the end, the bathroom looked great and he was very focused on pleasing the customer. what more can you ask for?

Matt (owner) was difficult to communicate with. Without knowing the project or real location he started coming up with reasons why he was not sure he could come so far to our location. About 15 miles from his office. He then committed to coming to our property and then the day of when I tried to confirm and set aside time to be home he backed out and asked to come on Saturday without setting a time. When I asked for a time he never responded. I eventually told him to get lost. He clearly has too much work or cannot be trusted.

Matt is very personable and did exactly what he said he would do. Work was excellent and the people working for him were thoughtful, polite, and showed up when expected.

I did a full gut of a bathroom in a rental property I own. The work involved new fixtures and new tiling. The quality of the work was top notch. Matt was very responsive and always seemed available at a moment's notice. I was under a lot of pressure to get the property rented so I rode him pretty hard at times. This being the case, he was always very calm and patient regardless. In the end, he was able to come through for me with respect to the timing, which is great, because I can't think of many other contractors I can say the same with. Matt is fair on price. He's not the cheapest guy around, but considering he is a licensed GC, his pricing is fair. I plan to use Matt again in the future and I certainly would recommend him.
