In the process of updating a kitchen in a 1920's house and needed someone to help prep it for the installation of new cabinetry. I hired Matt primarily to hang the drywall but added on a few things once he got on the job and I realized that he had the ability to do more. He did a great job working on walls that were not exactly straight to begin with and matched it to the existing plaster. He also reframed the kitchen window and ripped out the old hardwood floors. Matt gave me a fair price and started the work exactly when he said he would. There were no surprises. He showed up everyday when he said he would and worked a full day. He cleaned up at the end of everyday and even hauled away the construction debris from some of my previous demolition work. I'll hire Matt again.

I emailed Matt for a quote and he came over to see what needed to be done the next day. He gave us a quote - both a hard copy and another sent my email - and was able to start the work the next day. Matt is a quiet guy, very professional and serious about making his customers happy. He was always available by phone - but always answered emails in the evening as well. Matt and his crew helped us paint the exterior of the house that had been left unpainted when a painter never showed up to complete the work (a painter not on Angie's list!). Additionally, they built and painted wood framing off the roof and fixed the remaining gutters. They also painted our outdoor patio poles and fixed/improved their decorative bases. Superhandyman Matt does quality work! He/they are honest, punctual, cost effective, polite, serious - and very trustworthy. We asked for a quote for the remodeling of 2 bathrooms and some plumbing work as well and the price and time to complete was fair. Unfortunately, the recession hit and we haven't been able to complete those projects, but when we do, we'll certainly be calling Matt!

Matt came as promised to estimate the job. He was prompt, courteous, completed the work in the time promised and charged a very fair price. He was very careful, covering all furniture and replacing everything as he found it. He was trustworthy and could be left alone.

Called Matt for pricing based on the high recommendations on Angie's list. He turned my call over to another contractor WITHOUT telling me. So when I was dealing with contractor # 2, I was under the impression that contractor # 2 was Matt's person. Lots of problems, hassles, work delays, up charges and when I was at my wits end, I called Matt who only then (more than half way into the job) told me the contractor I was working with was not at all related to his organization! I was furious and also stuck! Terrible, painful and expensive. And there was nothing I could do but fire the contractor in the middle of the job or let him finish it. Terrible, expensive and painful. Matt's denial of having spoke to me is a blatant lie. We spoke once when I first called him and then again when I started having trouble with the job. Matt-I'd be happy to refresh your memory as I have notes from both calls. You are a bait and switch con artist.

On time , courteous, reasonable in price and excellent work.

Matt was very helpful in helping to define the scope of my renovation project. He renovated two separate bathrooms, tore down a baby room, repainted my the entire condo, and handled various plumbing jobs. Matt is knowledgeable and trustworthy, and I will continue to use him for handyman work. I recently had a plumbing emergency, and he was fast to respond and solve the problem.

He was so rude. He told me that he?s a contractor not a designer so I should have come to him with everything already laid out but I wanted to know my options with his capabilities. At least he showed up on time.

,From the day he started the project, until the day he packed up his stuff, Matt conducted himself with professionalism, diligence, and good humor (I have a small Dog who likes to bark at contractors). What I also noticed was that Matt was very meticulous, As a kid, I bet he never "colored outside the lines.". The work was not easy with the two tone walls, ceilings, and lots of moulding. but Matt came through for us. Several days after the job was done, I noticed a couple of very minor items that needed to be taken care of.and even though he was on another Job out of my area, he was over at my place I believe the very next day.I think that is the measure of a professional. In summary, we are selling our home and really needed a great paint job.and we got it. Lots of positive comments from prospective buyers. I would not hesitate to use Matt again ;In fact, I will be contacting him in the next couple of days to see if he is available to do some Tile work for me. Thanks Matt. Thanks Angies List. Nice enough guy, but strung me along for 2 weeks after telling me that he could start the job the week of estimate. Kept pushing it into the future. If you can't handle he job in a timely fashion, just tell me. Don't waste time I could be finding the right contractor.

Matt showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He took care of everything. I didn't even have to go to the hardware store!

I spoke to Matt concerning the repair of a glass shower door. He sent out his sub, a gentleman working under the company name of New York glass. He took the time to listen and review the situation. He did such a great job on the shower that I had him fix the a sliding glass door in the bedroom. Excellent glass resource incredible.

We contacted Matt and he immediately returned our call. He came over for an estimate in the next day or so. We were already very pleased with him....he was punctual, knowledgable, and his prices were very fair. He did a great job....looks like a brand new house. He was extremely accommodating with our schedules and took the time to make sure everything was done right. Matt is a professional with great work ethic and initiative. I would 100% recommend Matt to anyone. We are already trying to think of other jobs we can hire Matt for.

Very dissatisfied with the unprofessional manner and lack of communication. We set up a date and time to meet at clients home for estimate. After driving a half hour to meet Matt, he never showed up and we had to call him 20 minutes after set time to see what was going on. There was not an apology or acknowledgment of missed appointment and he treated us as if we had never spoken before. We will give him credit for making a phone call 4 days after scheduled meeting to make another appointment. However, at that point we had already found another company to show up and gave the job to them. : (

They were very good, pleasant, reliable and trustworthy. They had a good price and did a good job. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

After some initial miscommunication, he arrived on time and if ever running late called to let me know. The work was done very professionally and during the times I had available to be home. He didn't take the easiest route to a solution for the clothes washer water overflow, but came up with a good solution. He was clear about what he was capable of accomplishing and what required other talents. He was capable of accomplishing most of the things on our list. I plan to use him when I again need a handyman.

Showed up on time very kind and very nice and he did call me afterwards to see how things turned out and to see if we needed anything else. The price was reasonable.

I didn't use the service. He was hard to get a hold of. He originally came out and told me that it needed to have demolition before he could give me a price.

He was supposed to install a laundry room cabinet with a laminate countertop, set in a sink, and mount some shelves and some hardware on the wall. I wasn?t honestly very happy with him. We had met earlier and had gone over everything. I had even called and told him what I would have liked to get done, to make sure that he brought the right tools along. When he showed up, he didn?t have any tools with him. He couldn?t do anything and he had to leave. When he came back and began his work, he was missing some tools again, and he had to leave again. For the first few hours, he was just gone getting tools. He started with mounting the hardware - it?s like a metal bar - on the wall, and it took him forever. In fact, that was the only thing he did. I don?t recall exactly how long he was there, probably 5 or 6 hours, and he mounted 2 bars on the wall. I then decided that he was not the right person for the job. He charged me, although I don?t know what amount. It was supposed to be $40 an hour, which for a really good job, I was willing to pay. He just ended up wasting my time, and I paid very little. I was surprised because he had received very good recommendations on Angie?s List. When I first met him, he sounded really nice but he was just not the right person for the job. He didn?t communicate very well. He didn?t say why he had these problems or why it was taking him so long or why he didn?t bring any tools along. He was punctual but without any tools. It could have been worse; he didn?t take any deposit, he didn?t ruin anything and he cleaned up after himself very nicely. It didn?t make any sense to me. I asked him many times if he was having any problems but he just didn?t answer my questions. He just seemed beside himself. He must have had a real bad day. I would not recommend him to others and wouldn?t use him myself.

Matt was supposed to email me a receipt (I paid in cash) and I never got the receipt. And he was supposed to come back the next week to do another small job of calking, and he never answered my email or phone call, and didn't return. I don't know why????
