Description of Work: matt was a great help in getting the house up and running i recently bought it and wasnt happy with anything the past owner had in the house so i needed matt to change all the carpets the closetsand the doors and he helped me find the people that put in the new floors of the house. Matt also did 8 of the bathrooms in the house.

Description of Work: Excellent work! Matt removed a large area of floor-to-ceiling mirrors from a very problematic wall, which included refinishing a part of the wall that had contained a door and removing from that wall and reinstalling several electrical fixtures in other places. After he made the wall perfectly smooth, he refinished and painted it as an accent wall. He also did several other small jobs, all executed excellently and efficiently. He finished when he stated he would and cleaned up after a very messy plastering and sanding job. He is very talented and does everything. I will definitely be using him again.

Description of Work: I found Matt here on Angie's List. I called him, and he gave me a date and time that he would be able to come over and look at the projects that I wanted to complete. He showed up on time, took notes and paid attention to what I was saying. I had some water damage from a roof leak requiring drywall repair and new flooring, as well as a door that needed adjustment. He gave me a price which I found reasonable, and I hired him to do that work. He was very punctual and showed up when he said he was going to. I was very pleased with this initial work, and I hired him to refurbish a small cottage I have, which required a lot of work. He brought a helper on this project, and they worked quietly and efficiently-no radios blaring or undo noise. Matt works clean, and he tidies up after every day's work. If he has questions, he talks with you, and you can explore options together. I like the fact that he communicates well with the client, which often is not the case with contractors. I was very pleased with all aspects of Matt's work, from the first consultation and quote process to the completion of the work. I had a minor issue after he was done, and I called him about it. He came over right away, and checked out the problem and dealt with it. He stands behind his work. I recommend him highly; he is a pleasure to work with, and his pricing is reasonable. I will use him again in the future, as his range of skills is broad, and he takes pride in the work that he performs.

Description of Work: Matt was very kind and understandable. But he asked for $1200 for a paint job and he wasn't able to even do the job for another few weeks. He said if I waited he would drop the price. When I followed up he said no way could he do it for any cheaper! I think he is probably good at what he does but he definitely charges the most!

Description of Work: I had a bedroom, a living room, a den, a common area painted - along with some doors and baseboards.

Description of Work: The work involved extensive drywall damage which was repaired with by the owner with a thorough knowledge of proper techniques necessary for a successful job completion. An intelligent owner with an eye for detail and finished some areas we had not discussed. He was very professional and his work is excellent. He responded to e-mail and telephone inquiries on a timely basis. Highly recommened.

Description of Work: I had Matt repair a botched job left by another so called "handy man". Matt was extremely professional, punctual and attentive to detail. I would DEFINITELY hire Matt again in the future and highly recommend him!

Description of Work: I had them paint all of the walls, ceilings, doors and trim in our condo. They also painted an armoire.

Description of Work: SUPER HANDYMAN MATT ran some cable wire, installed a LCD flat panel TV over our fire place and installed a water filtration plant.

Description of Work: On 3/15 called Matt for appointment for estimate. Discussed work to be done and he wasn't sure he could do job. Said he'd call me back on 3/24. Called me back on 3/23 to confirm apppointment for estimate. Was here at time expected and also identified other work needing to be done, (rotted facia boards needed replacement, gutter replacement in some places, exterior painting) and said he'd call with cost estimate.

Description of Work: Matt closed a hole in our wall where an old AC vent was. He replastered a bedroom wall, enclosed our AC handler closet and installed a replacement kitchen cabinet and 4 knife holders.

Description of Work: I called Matt to ask him to fix a booster pump that had sprung a very large leak. He said he was busy for a week, but would call back. He did once, when I was away, and my wife was busy. Promised to call back again and never did. I know Miami is tough for getting someone to appear on time or appear at all and this confirmed my worst expectations.

Description of Work: This service was a "Big Deal" offer of 3 hours of drywall for $125.00. I reside far from Matt's company, but he made an appointment and committed to traveling here and completing the work. He was very thorough and very neat, patching several holes in the wall, baseboard and door. I was very satisfied with his work and will use him again when it is worth his while to travel up here and perform a lot of work.

Description of Work: I hired Matt to do a variety of jobs. He had to take out a mantle and electric fireplace, fill in and repair the wall, He then had to paint a living room, ceiling, entry way and hallway including moldings. Repaired cracks in 2 ceilings, repaired several holes in walls, that had been opened for different reasons. He put in new ceiling fan and light and put up curtain rods.

Description of Work: Install 4 surround sound speakers running the wires through a wall to the attic & back down at the speaker locations.

Description of Work: We hired Matt to work on a 2,000 sq. ft. rental property in Coral Gables. Work included: pressure clean, prep and paint complete exterior; pressure clean and paint patio; replace patio screens and door; replace patio ceiling fans; remove cabinets and paint garage; prep and paint complete interior including molding and doors; remove curtains, patch and install blinds on all windows; replace all electrical switches and outlets; remove and replace 7 interior light fixtures; replace A/C wall unit and interior door; replace exterior awning; replace bathroom faucet; haul away materials.

Description of Work: Matt and his assistant came on time to repair a wall of mine that needed drywall. I used him because of an Angies "Big Deal" special. They were great. They also did a little "extra" patching with silicone for me and didn't charge me. They cleaned up and left my house spotless. I will definately hire them again and refer them to all my friends. Description of Work: He gave me an estimate for a bathroom remodel and some other work.

Description of Work: I used Super Handyman Matters for interior painting. He was doing baseboards and some doorways and closet doors. It was end of the paint job stuff. He also installed some ceiling fans.

Description of Work: Repaired multiple outlets, ceiling fan, replaced doornobs/locks, replaced lights, fixed broken door.

Description of Work: Matt was originally hired to replace a ceiling fan on a high slanted ceiling. While he was here, I asked about why a dimmer light did not work. He explained that the switch wore out and he could replace it. I went to the store and he replaced it during the same visit.

Description of Work: I had a couple small electrical issues that he resolved. He also fixed the toilet. I had a list of about 5 or 6 things that he took care of.
