Matt was very professional and did an excellent job. He was here when he said he would be and always left the work area clean. I would definately use him again.

Both jobs went quite well. You do not have to breathe down the necks of father and son. They work efficiently, but will explain anything they think you need to know as they are doing the work. The give estimates that are pretty much on the nose and, if there is a style choice, they will describe or show you samples, etc. They are punctual and they work long hours at a stretch to get the job done in pretty much the time they first told you it would take.

The prices were exceptionally fair and they were very honest. They did a great job.

Contacted company via Angie's List which states that he covers my area. Matt was responsive and called back quickly. After I explained to him my whole situation he took my address and stated that he his really backed up and doesn't really come to my area. Only want to suggest that you update the listing for this company to reflect the areas he will, in fact, service.

Great! when Matt & his assistant arrived, I told them that I had purchased the wiring & speakers to connect a surround sound system in my living room. They spent most of the time in the hot attic running the wiring. The speakers were all installed with no wires showing & work perfectly.

They were very careful. They sealed the whole space before they began work. They were very organized and they did a good job.

Matt (and his team) did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend his work. From start to finish, Matt was uncommonly professional, communicative, prompt and straight forward. Aside from actually carrying out the work, Matt offered recommendations and different ideas on how to accomplish the desired outcome. Everything was done with meticulous detail and we were pleased with the finished product.

Super Handyman Matt was a bit pricey so we went with another company. Matt was professional. My interaction with him was very limited. My overall experience was fine.

He was little pricey. He originally quoted me a $150 and once he had the lamps, he stuck it up to $160 for parts. Given the fact that all he was doing was wiring, it seemed like an unfair price but I paid it. I would probably not use his services again in the future.

Overall, the work was outstanding. Matt is very professional. His work is neat and well executed.

"Super Handyman" Matt was more like Clark Kent than a fix-it Superhero. This young kid's prices were outrageous and he said he won't even go into certain areas for estimates if people didn't have money. Instead of actually fixing the few items I requested, he used the minimal amount of effort, a blatant Band-Aid approach. Aesthetically, it was a disaster and when I asked him to please re-do the simple repair with paint that kind of, sort of matched a little (not black paint on a brown surface, he huffed and he puffed and completely blew my head off and made comments which were not only unwarranted, but completely unprofessional. For a youngling still living in his family's home...I think I should have charged him for the experience.

He was great. He did everything that I asked him to do. He was very nice. His price was fair for the 2 hours that he worked. It was a positive experience for me. If someone needs a handyman, I would recommend Matt. He would be excellent. He speaks English. He was on time and very respectful of the house. He was very knowledgeable. When I gave him a problem, he was able to solve it. I would use him again.

Everything went well. Matt arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job.

Matt was a pleasure to work with. I was impressed by his prompt response to my call. He was consistent during the work performed with regards to letting me know when he would be there etc. He explained what he was doing whenever I had a question. His attention to detail was great!. At the end of every work day, everything was swept and cleaned up which was terrific. I would definately recommend him and will also rehire him again for any work that I need done.

I had a really unusual problem that has been going on for many years. It involved a drain on a flat area of our roof that goes through the attic and drains to the outside of the house. It has been leaking a small amount on and off for the entire time we have owned the house ( 10+ years) and several contractors have attempted to repair it - we even installed a secondary overflow drain at one point. The attic height decreases to 2-3 feet in this area and is a long way from the attic access stairs, making work on the drain very difficult. Matt quickly determined that it would be easier for him, therefore less costly for us, to remove a portion of the bedroom ceiling entirely, so that he would have access to the entire drain area and truly assess what was going on. It sounds like common sense, except for no one else had ever thought of it before and we felt dumb for not thinking of it ourselves. He diligently tested the drain, made repairs and then retested and repaired several areas until he was sure that there were no leaks whatsoever. He then used green board to repair the ceiling and applied plaster to it - matching the pattern and texture of the original plaster ceiling perfectly then repainted the entire ceiling. The house has lath and plaster walls and ceilings so any repairs are cosmetically tough but I cannot tell where Matt's repair ends and the original plaster begins. This was not a run of the mill type problem or repair and it required thinking outside the box, being innovative, prepared and thinking ahead - all of which Matt did expertly. He also patched two areas in a bathroom wall, where sconces used to hang - matching the plaster perfectly and repainted the wall. I'm extremely picky so if I say it's perfect, you can take that to the bank. He was also very respectful of our home. He covered all furniture with plastic, protected the hardwood floors with drop cloths and screened off the construction areas from the rest of the house with plastic curtains to keep dust from spreading when he was doing demolition, plastering and sanding. At the end of each day, he cleaned up , making sure to even sweep the hall, steps and foyer - the path they used to enter and exit the house. The other small jobs he did - landscape lighting repair, installing track lighting and hanging a mirror and curtain rod were also done with the same attention to detail. I usually dread the days that I have someone working in my home, feeling as though I must watch closely and supervise every step of the way. Not so with Matt. He kept us informed, consulted us when necessary - always making us aware of his schedule, the repairs he was making and why. It was a pleasure to have him around each day and I felt comfortable that I could go on with my daily activities and he would take care of the job the right way and keep us in the loop. His work is excellent and fairly priced and he has a great attitude.

Actually, he has improved a lot. Even though he was good then but he is probably even better now. I would use his services again in the future.

Matthew Marra was a pleasure to work with. I was impressed immediately by his prompt response to my call. That consistency was apparent throughout this project; if he was going to be delayed, he called, if he had to go to the store, he advised me, he explained what he was doing whenever I had a question. His attention to detail was exemplary. At the end of every work day, EVERYTHING was swept, picked up, cleaned up. And, in addition, he and his helper went beyond the contract specs and spread mulch around my patio and removed the stepping stones, set the base, and re-set the stones before leaving. Yes, I definitely will call on him again.

It was excellent. He was clean, reliable, reasonably priced, worked well and to high quality.

I contacted Matt and he scheduled an appointment with me. He came and gave me 3 estimates. I took him up on one to see his work. His approach to replacing my door was unique as the door had to be removed but aspects of the frame had to stay in place. He replaced the door, kept the cost low and personally did the job with an assistant (meaning he didn't send other people to get the job done - he did it himself). We rescheduled due to some issues arrising with me and he was patient and extremely agreeable with my time. The door was taken care of in one morning and by 1:30pm he was "out the door" - the very one he installed. It's been 2 weeks and I've had 2 friends that are contractors take a look at the work and told me how difficult it was going to be and they said he did a stupendous job. I'm still in contact with Matt to replace my wooden fence on my property.

I may call him again for a future job and give him a chance

He is a handyman, but his specialty is painting. His name is Matt and he is from Miami Beach. He was terrific. He didn't have a company name. I got him from Angie's List. I used him and I gave his name to a few people. He was reliable, very neat, and very knowledgeable. Overall, he was excellent. His prices were very fair. The quality of work was excellent. He was very responsive, very punctual, and very professional.

Contacted Matt based on the recommendations from Angie's list due to some mold between the bathroom shower wall and master closet. We suspected a leaking pipe. At first it took some time to connect as I suspect he was busy. When we finally made contact and Matt came out, he originally gave a price of 1000.00 for the job based on worst case scenario. Once we agreed to give to get the job the go ahead the job proceeded very quick. After removal of the drywall in the closet, Matt found the bad fitting, replaced it, cleaned the mildew and painted around the studs, caulked around the the bathroom tiles and inside the wall to prevent the moisture from getting through. We also purchased the 3 hours of drywall, which we used on this project. Based of what was found after drywall removal the price was reduced to 425.00. We are satisfied with the job and would use Matt again. The only thing we found difficult was initially connecting for the first time but once he came out the job was completed very rapidly. The other was once the issue was determine then a more definite price was established.
