We bought our house on March 7, and the inspector we hired to do the pre-purchase inspection failed to catch a massive electrical botch-job in our kitchen. Bruce and his crew were hired to do some minor electrical work when they ended up finding what our inspector missed. There were stripped lamp cords inside the walls. Nothing in the kitchen was grounded. We had exposed wires in the cabinets and behind the appliances. The light fixtures were illegal to use in the US. It was a disaster. We ended up having to have all new lights put in our kitchen as well as having most of the wiring in the back portion of the house redone due to very shoddy workmanship on the part of the previous owner. Bruce and his crew from Starquest were incredibly professional. Bruce himself is a master electrician who has been working in this business for a very long time. His experience is incredibly valuable. The crew helped identify the problem, showed me exactly why it was a problem and how they were going to fix it, stayed within the estimated price, and finished this massive job in 3 days! I can't recommend them enough. The crew from Starquest Electrical were a Godsend to us. This was our first home purchase, and to find out we had such a mess on our hands was just devastating, but Bruce put us at ease and helped us know what to look for in the future. We feel so much better knowing our home is now properly and safely wired! Thanks guys! :)
