Called after hours, because the ac unit kept cycling on and off. Southern Comfort arrived on time and were very personable and were able to resolve our problem immediately. Extra points for cleaning up after the job. We will definitely be using them in the future when needed.

Went very well. It was discovered that all four ducts were not sealed when my new unit was installed nine years ago. I’ve been suffering with respiratory issues that have been getting exponentially worse over the last few years as a result of some mold that was developing because of the hot and cold air mixing. Luis the technician took care of this problem right away and after cleaning the ducts he sealed them. He further recommended that I consider getting a UV light installed in the air handler.

The staff at Southern Comfort replaced our AC unit after our unit was fried after being struck by lightning. Once the unit was assessed and determined that it wasn’t salvageable the new unit was replaced in a timely manner. I really appreciate the sense of urgency to get the new unit installed. I was really surprised on how fast the job got done and the care taken throughout the process. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends family members! Excellent--Luis arrived a little later than the appointed window, but had called about 30 min prior to let me know (I don't know how they ever manage scheduling, since the tech never knows what he is going to find at a particular location!). Luis resolved the problem quickly and showed me what to do to keep the drainage line clear of blockages myself. Besides their responsiveness and their professionalism, what I like most about Southern Comfort AC is the fact that they have not tried to sell me a blanket maintenance contract. This is the third AC company I have used in nearly 15 years, after the first one charged me $800 a year for maintenance contracts that only came in handy one time--what a rip. The next company tried to sell me a maintenance contract, and that was when I went shopping for another company. I'm very happy that I found Southern Comfort! I feel that Luis is an honest, straight shooter. Also I like the fact that everyone speaks English (I don't speak Spanish fluently and that often poses a problem here). I also love the fact that they bill me through QuickBooks via email, and I can pay online with either a credit card or an ACH draft from my checking account. Totally awesome service!
