I chose this company based on good ratings. They had the same price as other bids and the person who did the estimates was well-spoken. The issues however were many. - Work quality of wood. There were gaps at the ends greater than the moldings would cover. They suggesting filling the gaps with dark caulk. There were gaps in the middle of the floor as wide as 1/4. They covered the defect with tape and left. Cleanup, which they never performed revealed the defect they had hidden. The also broke a board badly and left it in place, That defect has not yet been properly addressed, but the builder made it clear they were not going to finish the work once they got paid. Tile - Bathroom 1. This work was so poor, with uneven tiles and defects that I had to stop the work. I have been chiseling out a lot of the detailed work since it was crooked and in some cases as much as 3/16 high compared to the tiles next to it. Tile Bathroom 2 - This work was not as requested, but it will suffice. I did have to remove 15% of the trim because of crooked stones and even stone placed in upside down Communications - The workers spoke either little or no English. If there had been a supervisor on-site that spoke English and watched over the quality, this would not have been an issue. The supervisor neither communicated the details or enforced quality standards when he was there. Instead of concentrating on doing the work as agreed, the supervisor / Salesman complained constantly that he was not making enough money. That his workers charged him too much, etc... And could I give him more money than contracted? I did give him slightly more to shut him up, but there were no changes in work scope from the contract when the work started. Clean up - The workers left a complete mess. They never removed the tapes that temporarily held the wood in place, never cleaned a huge mess from when they used one of the bathrooms to set up their equipment (Without even putting plastic down). To be fair, they had permission to use one of the 2 bathes for this purpose if they put down plastic. They did not have permission to do it in both bathrooms. The supervisor continually denied and tried to fight any corrections or quality issues. I had to be very firm on that. I would not use any of the folks from this crew in any capacity on another project.

Very professional, showed up when expected. Gave a reasonable quote and offered advice to improve the project. I'm very pleased with the work and will be using them again.

Mateo took care of everything in a timely, professional manor. Excellent work and I plan to call on them for future projects. A+
