Edison and Julian arrived early and immediately went to work loading up the truck. They were courteous, efficient and careful with our furniture, wrapping several pieces with plastic wrap before loading. There were no unexpected or hidden fees. They charged me the hourly rate + supplies & fuel charge as discussed. I would recommend Small Time Movers to anyone in the Miami area. They helped make an extremely time-crunched and stressful moving situation smooth and trouble-free!

This is the second time I have used STM for a household move. Both times have been excellent. They are responsive and on-time. They took care with my furniture. What really amazed me is how much these guys really work as a team, and how warm and friendly they are. They really seem to enjoy one another and all work hard - not one of them ever is a "slacker". The only reason I rated them a B instead of an A is their quote was for my move to take 7 hours (give-or-take 1 hour) and instead it took 15 hours. The good news is they only charged me 1.5x their original quote and not > 2x but I would have planned the day (i.e., started a lot earlier) had they given me a more accurate estimate to avoid finishing at midnight without dinner. Bottom line is they did the most important things well and I will definitely use them for my next move.

I didn't end up using this company because they were so booked, but I would have hired them, hands down, to move me due to Maurice's professionalism and his responsiveness. He came out right away to do an estimate. His price was extremely reasonable and he would have been wonderful to work with.

Excellent service!! My move could not have gone smoother and I could not be happier. I called Small Time Movers because of the great reviews on Angie's List and they did not disappoint. They were very prompt in getting back to me to schedule my move, and called me the day before to confirm. The three gentlemen who moved me were super nice, very professional, spoke English (a must for this gringa girl!!), and moved lightening fast. They were also right on time! They took great care with my items and put my bed together for me (headboard, footboard, etc.). My entire move was completed in two hours. I can't say enough about the great service I received. I sincerely hope I won't have to move again in the next few years, but if and when I do, I will definitely use these guys again. Fantastic service!

It went great. We had excellent service. The men we had were very helpful in making a smooth transition. They were very careful handling my possessions. I will definitely use them again. Their prices were reasonable and the guys were wonderful to work with.

Me and my wife recently had to move from our apartment, and we decided to research moving companies around our area. We found Small Time Movers on Angie's list, and the reviews were almost all positive. We had almost all our small things (pots and pans, shoes, decorations) in boxes already when they arrived, so it was easy for them to take care of all the furniture smoothly and quickly. They carefully wrapped them all, and even though our furniture is old, they treated it with such care that you would think it was new and expensive. We don?t even know how they did it, but they carefully took out all of the big furniture without a single scratch on our wooden floors and white walls. And they also managed to bring all these heavy items down a curved flight of stairs without a fizzle. We are extremely thankful for the professionalism that Small Time Movers provided. They do an excellent job helping you move, and they make the process stress-free for everyone involved. They did a great job keeping track of time, and fairly explained where the cost was going to be allocated to at the end of our move (2 men, truck+gas, supplies etc.) We think the price we paid is worth every penny, as we couldn?t have done it without them!

The provider did not show up at a scheduled appointment to do an estimate for a move. I was home and had the phone with me. No one called to explain that day or the next.

Would definitively use again. I had just bought a new sectional and needed the old sofa along with coffee tables moved to my aunt's house. I first thought my son that had a pick-up truck could move it. Of course, he would then need a friend to help him load, clean the back of the truck and I would also have to buy dollies and plastic covering in case of rain. The couch was very heavy. After a week of waiting for my son I decided to check out Angie's List. I called Small Movers who advised they could do it on the same day. They apologized that they had a $150 dollar minimum for 1 2 man crew but as an Angie's List member it would be reduced 10% to $135. They called be to advised me when they were on the way. They very efficiently secure everything . I did have to pay $5 extra to plastic wrap the sofa, which I understood as it was an all white fabric sofa and they could not reuse the wrapping. Alex and his partner were very efficient and courteous. Overall it cost me the same that if I would have used my son but more promptly and hassle free. Would highly recommend them.

I could not have asked for a better outcome. They arrived on time, wrapped all pcs.( far more that I had expected), and was on their way in less that an hour. At Palm Springs it went even better, they unloaded, unwrapped and delivered all pcs. into the Condo in less than 30 mins. ( it was a king size bed, w/2 night stands, a hope chest, a med. size TV stand, plus a large chest of draws.) Several times they said they would setup the bed frame, we said Thanks but no thanks.( we had a little time problem on our end) So.... If you need something moved, absolutely call these Guys.

This is the second time we've called upon the services of Small Time Movers and the second time we've been impressed. They arrived on time, finished the move in the expected amount of time and acted professionally throughout. A beehive popped up at the entrance of our old place the day before the move and these guys weren't phased at all. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a local mover.

We had a bunch of big/heavy items to move around the house, so we needed labor only. Small Time Movers sent Alex, Leandro and Gabriel. They were punctual, courteous, pleasant, speedy and capable. If you're looking for better movers at a better price, you're wasting your time.

We had a four person crew when we were only expecting three. The entire crew was professional, efficient and extremely diligent. If you want an outstanding moving team, this is your company. Well worth the price!! Outstanding.

What a find! The gentlemen of Small Time Movers were an outstanding group to work with! From my first contact with Nelson in setting up the move, he was very accommodating and made sure his schedule fit our needs. All three were very courteous and helpful and dressed professionally. They arrived promptly and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Not an item was broken or scratched! I have had two nightmare experiences with movers in Miami, and Small Time Movers has restored my confidence! What has taken 6 and 7 hours to move previously, they got done in only 4 hours including travel. I highly recommend them for your moving needs. Very reasonable price and EXCELLENT service!

From the first time we spoke, they were professional, responsive, accurate and always available for questions. They were on time for the move. I had they cell number if I had questions. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT! Maurice and his crew were true proffesionals from start to finish! Maurice alwyas kept in touch in the days before the move. He alwyas returned my calls and texts and was always on time for appointments. He did everything he said he would do and did it it in a professional manner. On moving day he and his crew (4 men total) showed up on time and worked all day to get us moved securely. It was a 326 mile move, in two trucks and evrything went great! Everything went great! The crew was extremely polite and professional. All furniture items were blanketed and then shrink wrapped for extra protection. They were equipped with the proper tools to disassemble and then reassemble furniture. Any time they were uncertain about where to put a piece of furniture or an unmarked box they would always ask unlike some movers who would just dump it wherever they please. Everyone worked in sync and were joyous and got along, creating a great atmosphere. Not a single piece of packing material was left behind.

Nelson and his assistant did an excellent job moving the furniture from a 1 bedroom apartment. We had to move our 88 year old friend to an Assisted Living Facility due to his ailing health and Nelson was responsive to our request for an estimate and taking the steps to move his furniture. They were prompt, professional and quick. We have used them before and HIGHLY recommend them.

Gabriel was very responsive providing an estimate. He and his team did a really good job in moving my 4 Bedroom household within Miami. They wrapped all furniture carefully and informed us of any existing scratches or missing screws. Moving is very stressful, this company helps you to take one problem off your plate.
