I can't express enough how wonderful this moving company is. I have had others in the past that broke almost as many things as they moved in. I will never use CL or one of those off companies again. SF local called a little before and actually arrived early! Abe was the absolute best!! He took care in wrapping our things like they were his own, showing us any minor details that needed to be sorted out. We moved from a 4th floor unit to a storage bin so he took extra care in making sure the storage bin was packed perfectly as well as things like mattresses etc, being wrapped up with care, I have never scene a storage bit put together so impeccably. All the movers did a great job! Putting up with my mother which alone is no easy task, lol THE BEST!!! I will def hire them back as soon as I move into my new place. A+++++++++++++

Everything was fine. I paid more than the Big Deal because there was an initial plus hourly rate and I think it ended up with a couple of extra hours. I think I paid about $400. They could have done it a little faster, otherwise, I was happy.

They arrived early and ready to work. They were very careful not to damage any furniture and bump walls, and protect my floor. Raquel at the office was in contact with me regarding status updates of the timing and schedule, all of which I greatly appreciate. It went perfectly. Abe and his team were on time, professional, courteous, friendly and careful. They worked fast but not in a rushed or careless manner -- not one thing was broken! They had to carry everything by hand from one building to the other, then up a flight of stairs -- not a scratch on anything, and they placed everything where I asked. They were very patient and understanding ( we all get anxious when moving). All in all, I could not have picked a better company. They will be my movers from now on and I am recommending them to anyone who needs this service.

The three man team was very professional. They arrived exactly on time as requested, went right to work. It was a difficult move for many reasons. They took extreme care with everything and were very careful not to damage any of the walls in either location. We were very impressed with their professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail. We were very pleasantly surprised. I don't know if all the crews from this company are just as good but I would definitely recommend them if they all meet the same criteria.

After reviewing several local moving companies for our local move (3 miles from our previous home) I was pleased with the reviews I read for SF Local Moving Inc. As a lifetime Miami native I am always skeptical when it comes to services as unfortunately Miamians don't have the best reputation with reliability. Thankfully that was not at all the case with SF Local Moving. My initial call was handled by a very nice woman named Raquel. I had many questions and she was more than happy to answer them. The questions she was unsure of she had me email the company and I had a reply within the day. I scheduled with them approximately a month prior to the moving date. Our move was scheduled for 9am last Thursday morning. Abe (the owner of the company) and his crew, (2 gentlemen) arrived at 8:52 am. I went outside to greet them and they each extended their hands and introduced themselves. Abe asked to come in so I could give him a quick tour of my belongings. Once he assessed what needed to be done he instructed the crew and so began the move. I had an average amount of furniture for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home and also many large and medium size boxes that filled the dining room area. They had the entire apartment packed neatly into the truck in an hour and a half. This included wrapping anything fragile including leaning mirrors, artwork and delicate furniture. We drove to the new apartment and again the crew of 3 (including Abe) each took their post (one man unloaded the truck, the other brought in the furniture and boxes while the 3rd unwrapped and placed the items). They put up everything they broke down, which included putting the bed frame together and placing box spring/mattress and also hanging my TV back on the TV stand. The entire job was complete in 2 hours and 50 minutes! I was astonished at how quickly and professionally the job was handled. Very organized! I paid $395 for a 3 hour, 3 man crew on a 26' truck as there was a special being offered on Angie's list. I was hoping they could do it in the allotted time but was prepared for it to take longer. They completed this job in UNDER the 3 hours!!! I am a pretty picky person and am not easy to impress but this company TRULY IMPRESSED ME. From their punctuality to their professionalism and efficiency, they are top notch! I couldn't be happier with the service and to boot they were all very friendly. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for trustworthy, professional and competent local movers. It doesn't get better than SF Local Moving Inc.!

All of them were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to help me move back with ease . Abe put my bed back together ..re fitted the TV's back on the brackets ( the brackets were already fitted to the wall but it isn't easy to re attach a television ) went beyond the call of duty in every aspect of the move ..and finished well within the paid time frame ..still had half hour of the 3 hours i'd booked ! All in all i would recommend all 3 of these fine hard working gentlemen and the lady who takes the orders on the phone is aldo superb with quick response to e mails and questions . I will definately recommend them to everybody and will use them again in a heartbeat ..thankyou all so much ..amazing price too ! thankyou Perry Grant

We're downsizing, and that meant moving many items from our 4/3 home in the Gables to a smaller 2/2 1/2 condo in South Miami. Booking via Angie's List was seamless, and the price -- $395 for 3 hours with 3 movers -- was more than fair. They arrived exactly at 10am. That's freaky punctuality for a mover. They went right to work, padding furniture items, even disassembling a table once they were told that the condo requires going up a flight of stairs. They followed the instructions perfectly, and asked me to walk through to make sure that they got everything right before driving out to the new place. They did get everything right. The destination condo wasn't for the timid. It's a short flight of stairs followed by a long flight of stairs to get to the front door -- and an entire master bedroom had to go up yet another flight of stairs. The moving crew was personable and never complained. They got it done -- and just under the 3 hours. The price was exactly what I was quoted (plus $5 for tape), and I would use them again if I ever needed to move again.

Moving is stressful. Everyone tells you so, but you never fully understand until you're in the throes of it. As the day wore on, and my family and I became more tired (the adrenaline wore off), our patience starting running thin. Stressed about where we should put boxes, set up furniture, etc starting to take its toll. Abe never flinched once and stepped up to the plate at every turn. Frankly, it is remarkable to see someone keep their cool, while moving someone else's life from one place to another, let alone in the extremely hot Florida sun, while everyone is telling you what to. Way to go Abe and crew...you were a pleasure to work with!

Abe and his team showed up at the storage facility early and ready to work. They worked tirelessly for 5 hours., even through rain They were courteous, polite and careful. I would recommend their services to all. Very happy with the move.

eThe entire process was handled without a glitch. The scheduler was great to work with. They were available on the dates that I needed. The movers arrived on time, and they were prepared to start, immediately. Everything was handled carefully, and quickly. No time was lost. I had allowed for three hours to move my belongings, and It took about 2 hours. The entire team was professional. I would definitely use SF Local Moving for any future moves.

They did a fantastic job. They were meticulous and careful with all our furniture and fragile items. They worked quickly and efficiently and too a lot of pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

They moved the boxes neatly and carefully. When I got to the storage unit, the mover name Abe took the time to not only do what I asked but to make isles in the storage unit to make things easy for me. I have moved before and never experience anything of this quality. Upon calling the receptionist to relay how pleased I was with my experience with SF Local Moving, Inc., she expressed her gratitude and told me that Abe was actually the president of the company. I have recommended SF Moving to everyone I know.

Abe and company showed up a few minutes early and went right to work. When we got to my storage unit, this crew performed a minor miracle by playing jigsaw and getting everything to fit in (what turned out to be) an undersized unit. Due to the third story walk up I was moving from and the space issues at the storage unit on the back-end, I went an hour over the three hour special. However, this definitely was NOT because they were moving slowly. I think other companies would have probably taken twice as long. Also, SF Local Moving's extra hour surcharge was much more reasonable than my experience with a different Angie's List recommended moving company. I would highly recommend SF Local Moving Inc to anyone looking for a moving service.

Abe was the main contact. He confirmed more than 20 days ago and he arrived on time. The moving was smooth and they worked very hard to save me time and money, extremely professional, educated and nice. It was a real pleasure working with them and I understand now why they are so high rated on Angie's list. If you are looking for a moving company, STOP looking and hire these guys.

I dealt with Raquel via email to set up the appointment and she was very helpful in finding a time that worked for me. On the day of the move, the crew was early and called me to make sure I was on the way (usually it's the other way around!). They came well prepared and quickly wrapped and loaded what I needed. Everything was well protected and secured in the truck. Once at the apartment, I had some things to be moved downstairs before unloading the truck and they took care of that as well. The entire job took much less than I anticipated and was done professionally and efficiently. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Thanks!

SF Local Moving Inc just finished a 3 person move from one bedroom Miami Apt to townhouse in Miami about 15 minutes away. SF Local Moving showed up a little bit late (20 minutes) but did not count those 20 minutes in their calculation (without us having to ask them to take it off). So no harm no foul in my opinion. We paid to have their three people three hours special. Overall, they did a great job. I had never seen furniture wrapped up in such a professional looking manner. Mental note- if I ever own expensive things, definitely use these guys. They were polite and courteous during the entire process. My only caution is that you should not expect to have a 3 hour move under any realistic scenario (at the time of this move, SF Local Moving had coupon specials for 3 hour jobs). We had 95% of our things boxed and ready to go and we lived in a one bedroom apartment that was 15 minutes away from the place we were moving our stuff too. Despite all that, and with three movers, it was nowhere near to being done in 3 hours. That being said positive experience, and would use them again.
