I thought I chose a reputable roofing company “RTI roofing” seeing the good reviews. I guess I’m the unlucky one. They really deceived me with my repair. I experienced so many lies between Domingo (worker) and Ivan (office). They sent a proposal to repair (with warranty) a leak Domingo found and I agreed. Look at the photo to see what they first intended to do, they were actually going to cover my gutter with repair material. Hard to believe, not very professional. I had to contact Ivan in the office telling him this is not acceptable. After repair was completed, Ivan called and wanted me to post a review…I said sure, after it rains and confirmed leak is repaired. It rained and still the exact same leak…When Domingo returned to repair the leak, he decided to do a water test this time and left. His boss called and refused to honor the warranty, stating Domingo found the real location of the leak…and offered to repair for more than four times the cost of first repair (which I already paid) refusing to honor warranty. Total scam., Not my lucky day. Really took me for an expensive ride.

We could not be happier than we are with our new roof from RTI Services, Inc. The entire re-roofing job, from start to finish, was completed in less than a week, and inspected-approved by Dade County a few days later. RTI's workers were completely professional, thorough and hard-working. Great communication from the RTI offices. The owners are hands-on roofing professionals with many years of experience. They delivered an outstanding product, on-time and at the estimated price.

Dan, the owner, an experienced roofer, did a job that wasn't even needed as the leak was in the plumbing not in the roof. Instead of giving us a refund he gave us the run around and all the lame excuses one could think about. We called a plumber to fix the leak. The plumber fixed the leak and took pictures to show us the problem was in a heater pipe, not in the roof.

It was impressive. First they came by my place and gave me various options for Shingles, and Barrel Tile. RTI evaluated the structure and strength of my roof. I made notes and verified their conclusions with an engineer to make sure that we are all on track. We were interested in a tile roof but my trusses could not handle the weight so they were correct. Our choices were narrowed to Singles and Metal roofs. RTI came by and took pictures of the entire job and helped me select the correct color scheme to insure that the family would be happy with the final selection. We had various color samples along with the solar reflectivity numbers for each color. When it came down to review the numbers the choice was simple and clear metal was the way to go for us. We no longer must worry about Single roofing issues. Every time the office and the staff was available to respond to all my questions. I signed a contract with all the details spelled out. We got on their schedule for installation and on that day they were there. They guys had the vendors deliver all the roofing materials except for the actual metal roof. They removed my old shingle roof, corrected the surface to make sure that everything was ready to accept the new metal roof. They also made sure the old plywood was in shape and replaced all the questionable wood. They re-nailed the roof to code and made sure that my roofing ventilation was working accordingly to keep the house cool and the attic temperature under acceptable levels. They are very detail oriented. They made sure their solution worked with all the systems already installed for my house. They strive to pursue customer satisfaction. The best is that when asked they will explain why they choose to do things the way they do and why it matters. Within a week the old roof was gone and we were ready for the new roof. They walk again the roof and re measure all the angles. Another crew arrives and the entire roof was cut right in front of me. Arranged in the drive way and organized by sections. The next day they started the installation process. They have metal roofing down to a science. Every day the job supervisor walks the job to gauge what has been completed and make additional adjustments as needed. County Inspections are were done as each job stage was achieved. I am very satisfied with the job RTI Services performed at my residence. It has been almost a year and we are very satisfied. My Light bill is way under control. The investment that we made was worth it. RTI Services thank you for making the entire process painless.

Everything about working with RTI was exceptional. I had contacted RTI (as well as other service providers) based on favorable reviews from Angies List. The sales rep that visited my home was very professional and explained everything in great detail to include recommending a variety of options based on my requirement. He provided an written estimate shortly after his visit and at no time ever used pressure sales tactics. After comparing the estimate with other providers we decided to go with RTI. Their cost was very competitive and more importantly they offered an energy efficient shingle that other providers were reluctant to offer even though I asked. The project manager that then took over for the sales rep was outstanding in explaining the timelines and expectations for the quality of the work to be completed. The crews arrived promptly as scheduled and worked quickly, efficiently, and safely taking care to minimize their impact on the surrounding property. Upon completion of the job and required inspections, RTI still visited the job site to do their own follow-up quality inspection and replaced a few shingles that were adequate and passed county inspection but were not up to their own quality standards. They did this at no additional cost. My experience with RTI was one of the best I've ever had with a home improvement contractor. I have no complaints and would not hesitate to use them or recommend them to friends, family, colleagues or neighbors.

I have waited some time before writing this to make sure I did not write a review in the heat of the moment. I had some serious quesitons about reroofing. Here in South Florida a roof is key to safety and the insurance companies have all kinds of rules about what is up to code and acceptable and what is not - and they differ between our county and the rest of the state at times. It can be confusing for those of us who aren't in the business because of so many conflicting assertions of what's accurate and what isn't. Apparently, the instructions from my insurance company were incorrect for my county (Miami-Dade), despite their saying otherwise. I sought 4 bids before signing a roofing contract - but it was not with RTI as per their email request. The initial conract person at my home gave me a competitive bid for top quality materials and their labor. He was a little displeased when I questioned him a lot about the secondary water barrier. The insurance company insisted the water barrier should be one way, and he disagreed. How was I to know? When the contact came, it did not specify certain items we talked about, like the white drip edge instead of galvanized. I asked him about that and he replied that a contract was just a set of general guidelines and we'd go from that. I learned that if it was not spelled out in the written contract, it wasn't part of the deal. So, I asked him about that as well. On the same day the contract arrived in the mail, with a very competitive price, I received this email from rtiserv@aol.com Tue 2/18/2014 3:44 PM "Dear Ms. Taylor, Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with an estimate for your new roof. I would also like to say that an educated consumer is our best customer. However, a misinformed, over-educated customer can be detramental to a service provider and the relationship built when doing business. For those reasons, I would like to decline the additional invitation to bid this work. Sincerely, Bob Pierce Vice President of Operations #(305) 274-2933" I was both astonish and hurt when I read the email. I found it to be unprofessional, uncalled for, and inappapropriately personal. It was just plan not nice. If they didn't want to do the work, there were certainly better ways to decline. I apologized in an email for making them think that way about me. I did not correct Mr. Pierce's spelling.

Masterful craftmanship, efficient, polite and worked until each stage was completed without taking extra time off. Crew was friendly and informative. Don, one of the owners, was a gem. Told you how the job would progress, the time spand and the overall job description. Answered all my question thoroughly and gave me his cell phone so that he could be reached at anytime. The secretary, Maria, was also very helpful considerate. Overall the job was finished quickly and without a hitch. I would recommend them highly and would not hesitate to use them again.

It was reasonable. I used them and it was excellent. It's not the first time I used them. My daughter also used them for roof replacement. I like their work ethic and integrity and their communication skill. Everything they said would happen and it was all explained and happened accordingly. There were no surprises and it just went great. They're worth the money. They were the least expensive and there's nothing to be re-done. They were great.

Very efficient crew that knew what they were doing. No bait and switch . All according to written estimates with possibilities for options. They cleaned up all the messes and did not damage trees and shrubberies. All the steps were explained. They got all the permits . Even the inspector was impressed by their work. My last roof lasted 26 years. Lets see how this one compares. I have hopes.

did not finish on the agreed upon date and cost more than the estimate (they said used more wood but never advised me of that until they presented me with the bill) company is owned by two partners, one personable but the other an absolute bully who thinks he can intimidate you into accepting any quality of finished product just by yelling and threating sorry I used them and would not recommend

It went very well. We had a little bit of confusion with the scheduling because their guys arrived when there was nobody here at the house, but the repair was carried out as they said they would and they were professional. It was a good company. It cost $565. I had a coupon with $50 off from Angie's List. The owner, Don Greenleaf, came and gave the estimate. I think it is a professional company. We got 3 estimates and they were right in the middle. One group of people was from Fort Lauderdale that was close to $1,000 and another company quoted $300 but then it was open ended. It was good that the price that they gave me offered a one-year warranty on the repair. It's not a major criticism but their communication could have been a little bit better, but I think it's a busy period down here. You have to chase them a little bit sometimes. I think they have reasonable reasons they weren't so communicative and I think they are a pretty solid professional company. The different quotes that we got showed me what other companies are like and they are less reliable.

Complete new roof, excellent all the way around.

Although their estimate was not the lowest one, I decided to go with them based on my contact with owner Don. It turned out that I made the right decision. The fact that Don was on the job twice daily made a h*** of a difference in the quality of the job. With Don involved I would recommend this company 100 %.

In 2012 our roof was damaged by Tropical Storm Isaac and it took us 16 months to get Citizens to agree to replace it. RTI worked with us through the entire process getting inspections and permits, and estimates. We replaced our roof with a standing seem metal roof and the crews were hard working and courteous and on time. Our new roof looks spectacular to the smallest details. Thank you Don and RTI!

The Owner/estimator arrived on appointment time, promptly after first phone contact. He provided a written estimate in one day; the estimate was in line, very slightly lower than other estimates. He required a minimal deposit of $1,000. Immediately on my acceptance of his contract, he protected a leak. I advised him that I had travel plans very soon - he promised to complete the entire re-roofing within one week His crew set to work promptly. AS I am a retired General Contractor, I noted that their work was clean and professional, without any interruption. I know that almost any roof repair reveals hidden damage (rotted wood, etc.) His project foreman showed me the damaged wood that needed replacement. The pricing for replacement was reasonable, in line with what I knew to expect. All of the work was finished on time, in a thoroughly professional manner. I highly recommend RTI Services for repair work or new roof installation.

RTI is a pleasure to work with. I got 7 bids on the roof and they came out best by far. They were in fact recommended by my realtor who has used their services many times. They worked with me to remove an old chimney, install 9 skylights, and enhance to attic ventilation to cut down on AC bills. Their work was top notch and quick. It's always a pleasure to work with a contractor who is dedicated to doing a good job at a fair price.

The inspector gave me an honest assessment of my roof. The workers did a wonderful job. They even cleaned up after doing their job.

Friendly, professional and competent. Stayed with commitment until the desired results were achieved.

My husband I have nothing but great things to say about RTI. We were in the process of closing on a home, when the insurance agent and lender raised a red flag re: roof leaks on the 4 point inspection report. This was extremely stressful as we were very close to the closing date, and no one had mentioned these leaks as problematic to the process in the past. In short, it became clear we would have to fix roof leak immediately in order to have our windstorm policy bound. I literally called RTI the moment they opened, and after explaining the time sensitivity to our issue, Bob Pierce was able to get out to the property and provide an estimate that same day. After receiving a few estimates, my husband felt most comfortable with Bob Pierce and RTI. Within days, we had the roofing permit processed through Miami Shores, and the work scheduled. Within 10 days of the initial call, the work was complete. I drove past the home during the work (it was a two day project), and I couldn't even tell there was working being done earlier that day. The seller also had glowing reviews about the work, and their professionalism. We wouldn't hesitate to use RTI again, and were able to close on schedule!

I called RTI services for a roof repair estimate and he was punctual and friendly. What impressed me the most, and it was a first, is that he told me that I did not need a repair at this time. Told me what product to buy (Kilz) to apply to inside of guest house room and wait and see if new rain would result in a new stain. He said his guess was that it was just an old water stain on my wall. Refreshingly honest!

Excellent professional response and work, from start to finish. Came for estimate, when they said they would, at our convenience. RTI was selected out of 4 contractors interviewed, as a result of professionalism of approach and cost proposal for work. Job was started as promised. Non-worker supervision provided during entire project. Property was cleaned and all debris removed each day. Pool was covered, with covering removed at end of day and reinstalled next day. Company management visited property to follow-up on progress and acceptability of work. Re-roofing was completed on schedule, as promised, and with excellent quality of work. There were no surprises. Miami-Dade inspector commented about overall professionalism and lack of any problems with RTI projects. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the services provided by RTI and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used RTI for years. They are always prompt in their response and very professional and cordial, willing to fix the problem no matter the situation. I have never been disappointed by their attitude or performance. I am always impressed by their immediate responses, professional work and quality of the results.
