The estimator showed up 20 minutes late and did not even bring the proper equipment to measure my patio. He never apologized or acknowledged his tardiness. I was very specific in what I wanted, showed pictures, and verbally gave him the measurement for the area (since he could not measure it). I said "absolutely not" when they suggested an architect or engineer; it was not that type of project. I also said no when they said they wanted to dig up my concrete slab. When I received the estimate 4 days later it was for $4200 just to hire an architect. It included measurements that were twice the size of the patio. There was nothing related to the actual work. The estimate even included $750 to run to the permitting office for electrical (on top of $1500 to run to the permitting office for building and roofing). I never once told them I even wanted electric installed! When I asked about the electrical, they ignored my question completely. RUN away from this company FAST.

I found Rausa's phone number somewhere in the papers of the house, so I called the guy to ask if the roof had a warranty. He told me it did so I asked if he could come out to repair the leaks. He said sure so we set up an appointment. I think he said he was going to send his roofer sub-contractors out. They didn't show up for the appointment so i called and the guy said, in a condescending tone that they were just around the corner & would soon be here. How would he know where they were, he didn't even have time to find out who I was on the phone. The roofers never came & I never called him back. He told me there was a warranty but then didn't want to fulfill his obligation.

Mr. Rausa's workers were excellent. They showed up when expected and onetime. They worked long hours and were unobtrusive. They were very polite and surprisingly neat. The craftsmanship is excellent too. Nelson was very responsive to texts and issues that inevitably arise. We are very happy with the end result and would use him again. We highly recommend him and his team.
