The next week I made the appt for the evaporator fan motor to be replaced and Matt arrived as expected. The motor took about 1-1/2 hours to install and test. The unit was significantly less noisy afterward and the noise stopped completely within 24hrs. The total for both service calls was $488, well within the original estimate. Pyke Mechanical has been servicing my A/C since 1994. In addition to the most recent service, they've also performed air duct cleaning, cleaned coils, installed the outside compressor unit (2000) and inside air handler (2001) and many other service calls over the years. They've always been very professional, prompt, courteous and helpful. They always show up as arranged. They take the time to explain what needs to be done, as well as any alternatives, and their price estimates are very accurate. The final price has never exceeded the estimate. I've often been able to have the technician come out the same day for service. Over the years, I've referred co-workers and friends and I've always gotten positive feedback about Pyke. I'll never use another A/C company. A+++ in my book!!

They are very good and know what they are doing. The office is easy to contact and very responsive. That's important when it's 100 degrees and the A/C is dead.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS A FIRST FOR ME. THEY DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING THE DUCT SYSTEM. THEY WORKED AT A STEADY PACE TO FINISH THE JOB. THEY LEFT NO MESS TO CLEAN UP. THEY GAVE US IDEAS ON HOW TO CUT DOWN THE DUST IN THE HOME, TOO.
