Pride Flooring

Dealing with Pride Flooring was one of the easiest transactions I have ever dealt with here in Miami. I corresponded and dealt with Joe DeLeo and he is extremely knowledgeable about his flooring, whether its wood, laminate, vinyl, etc. He is responsive to any requests/questions and provided a great professional crew to do the job. I would definitely use Pride Flooring again and will recommend them anyone looking for a flooring specialist who does excellent work!

The installers arrived promptly on the date scheduled. The crew of four worked a full day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the first day and took individual breaks for lunch. The installation required an additional half day to complete. The workers were neat and cleaned and swept up as they went. All were professional and a pleasure to work with. They were good at solving difficult issues such as the tight curve step down to our sunken living room and the baseboard matching around a corner down the same drop. The end result was beautiful. Our original contact at the Pride offices was with Joe De Leo, and he was exceptionally knowledgeable with his product offerings and very helpful in evaluating our options. He made a visit to our home and presented us with options based on our needs. I would highly recommend Pride Flooring and Home Decor for your flooring needs. Overall, we are very happy with the hardwood floors that were installed. Both the quality of the flooring and the installation work that was done. We had a few others quote us for the work, but we went with Pride mainly for the knowledge of the team and that they dealt directly with the suppliers instead of another middle man like the others. We scheduled the first appointment to have them measure the area, bring some samples and talk about the options and process. Joe arrived on time, with the samples requested. Joe took the time to talk thru the various options, what they have seen other homeowners choose, the market trends, etc. He really knows his wood flooring which was great for us. Given the significant area that was being done, we really wanted to make sure we were not choosing something that was a fad but something that would have a longer life. Joe worked really h****** the quote to give us the best price he could. As others have commented, they were not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive. The actual installation was as quick and professional as it could be. The team arrived on-time to start the tile removal and prepping of the floor. They had a team of 5 guys work the whole day to get it ready. Their lead installer was determined to get it done in one day to minimize the mess. The next day they started the installation of the floors and work several long days. We had a tight deadline to get it done before guests arrived on Saturday morning so they were making sure to meet it. The installers were very professional, precise and detailed. Unlike others that would skip corners or areas that would not be seen, these guys didn't. They were super careful to not make any additional mess, patient with us as our small kids would sometimes get in the way and even great about deliveries as they came (it was the week before Christmas) when we weren't at home. They finished the job on that Friday night, very late. Again, they were really making sure to get it all done and ready for us to get the rooms setup again for our guests. We have been really happy with these guys and would recommend them for wood flooring.

Pride Flooring went above and beyond! My mother needed new flooring after over 20 years of "use" of the carpeting installed after Hurricane Andrew. She is disabled and was unable to go to the warehouse herself. I went for her and knowing that we were on a tight budget, Joe De Leo showed me some closeout laminates that would meet my needs. I chose the one that I thought would work best and took a picture in the warehouse itself. A week later, when I had already left Miami, my mother seemed apprehensive about the color I chose so Joe came to her home personally to show her the closeout choices. A week or two later we decided we really needed to do the kitchen, too. Joe came out again and ultimately identified a product that met her needs and was affordable. The best part of the sales process - Joe never tried to pressure us into something that was more expensive, etc. As a homeowner myself, I've had my share of contractors in my home and it was refreshing to just be shown the product I was interested in and provided a price. No haggling! About two weeks before installation day, the laminate we had purchased fell and some of it was damaged; unfortunately, not enough was left to complete our project. Joe immediately contacted us and upgraded our laminate to the latest colors free of charge. My mother chose another very similar color, but regardless, Joe didn't blink an eye and made it easy on everyone to move forward with the project. Fast forward to installation day. They arrived right on time and were extremely efficient. The crew was very professional, yet seemed to enjoy their work. They chatted and laughed the entire day as they worked. Don't get me wrong - they took their work seriously and worked VERY hard, but they seemed to truly enjoy their work. When we came across two challenges (too difficult to describe here), the foreman discussed with us and came up with various solutions/ideas for us to choose from. He could have simply done what was easiest or least time consuming, but he wanted to make sure my mom was happy with the work. The day after installation Joe contacted us via phone to ensure we were satisfied with the work done. This was very impressive given that most companies simply send you an e-mail. I couldn't be more impressed with the service we received! Please don't be discouraged by this very long overdue review, which is MY fault. Pride Flooring did an amazing job! If you live in Miami, don't waste your time - go straight to Pride Flooring!

Didn't use because I changed the scope of the work. However, I like everything about how he handled himself when he came to see the project. I would hire him if I were doing just tile work.

ok so I was a little skeptical on this. Really nervous about the LVP flooring. I looked up on Internet about floor installers and came across Pride Flooring. It had great reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I went and met Marc Amore. He and his brothers and father own the store. When I went inside the store I was blown away at all the choices I had! Home Depot has nothing compared to Pride Flooring. They had an even bigger area in the back. Well I asked Marc about the LVP ( luxury vinyl plank) and he was surprised that I knew about it. I told him I saw it on Houzz.com. And it looked awesome. Well Marc gave me the whole history on that flooring concept and the different companies and their history on flooring. Marc is definitely a flooring connoisseur! So I told Marc let,s go for it. Now mind you, I have been researching this for about two months. My brother is a retired building and plans engineer so he also was instrumental in me making this purchase. Anyway. Marc came and measured the house and sent his flooring specialist Julio and Oswaldo. There are not enough happy words to express how awesome these two guys are! Very polite, professional and VERY meticulous in their work! I am beyond words on how happy I am! Their work is pure perfection! I myself am a very meticulous person so you could only imagine me checked the way the flooring butts up against all entry ways and the way and where the start was (yep, I did my research. And my brother was giving me all the advice and terminology). I was all over it. I can tell you one thing for sure. Pride Flooring is definitely the way to go if you want pure perfection! So I am on a roll now with this company. My next purchase will be plantation shutters, backsplash in my kitchen (endless colors in this store) and crown molding. I visited their showroom on a Monday & was greeted by Joe, I told him what I was wanted & he showed me some samples, they have quite a selection of different types of flooring, I selected the flooring that i liked the most ,he gave me a rough estimate but wanted to measure the space to give an exact quote, we scheduled for him to come over the next day to measure the space. He arrived the next day, measured & provided me with an exact quote, I approved the quote on the spot & since the flooring I selected was not in stock estimated it would be a week for the arrival & install, which was fine with me. Joe called me the next day which was Wednesday & said the flooring would be in earlier than expected and he could have it installed on Friday. The crew arrived on time in the morning, removed my baseboards, old flooring, installed the new flooring, reinstalled the baseboards & cleaned up all in a few hours. The floor looks fantastic, I highly recommend them & will be using them in the future for the rest of my rooms.

They had the best price. They arrived when they said they would and did a great job. We are very happy with the way it looks and feels underfoot. We intend to use them to install either tile or carpeting in our master bedroom in the future.

Firstly, let me be clear - Pride really saved us when we were in a bind. Our GC had never laid the wood plank-style ceramic tile floor, and he did not float it in mud, and it was an absolute disaster. And because he was not local, he did not have a good tile guy to replace it. The whole job ground to a halt as a result, and I was desperate to find someone to fix it. Thankfully I found Pride on Angie's List. After reading other reviews, I wasn't sure if Pride would install our new floor since we didn't buy the tile from them. Luckily< Mike from Pride was absolutely committed to helping us from the first moment we called. He set us up with Rolando, one of their best installers, and less than a week later we had a beautiful new floor installed and could once again resume work on the rest of the kitchen. Let me be clear - this was a very difficult project from the beginning. A 1951 house, with a very uneven floor due to settling, cabinets and countertop already in place, and differing door heights that a previous GC had cut. And yet, in spite of that, Rolando was able to make it work, and did a meticulous, thorough job of making the floor work with in spite of all those challenges. The price was good, not great, and their was a little slippage in getting the job started - and finished - or else I would have rated them excellent there overall. That being said, if we ever have any flooring needs going forward, I will not hesitate to make the first call to Pride. They did an incredible job for us, and I would highly recommend them for future work.

They were punctual and the carpet was removed. I wish they would have told me there was a $150.00 minimum fee. The job was completed in a total of 30 minutes. I had described the work to be performed prior to scheduling. There were multiple opportunities to state such a high minimum fee for such a small job. I would have shopped around if I was aware of this minimum fee.

Our first contact was with Joe in the show room. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all types of flooring. He can give you detailed pros and cons about all types of flooring as well as pros and cons of each manufacturer's product. He was willing to answer as many question as we had and we had quite a few! Joe was on time when he came to the house for the appointment to measure. He was able to rush order the materials which arrived when requested. The installers were very professional, courteous and cleaned up each day. They completed the installation in 3 days as estimated. They did a fantastic job, excellent workmanship. I can't say enough good things about this company, they are first rate, you will not be disappointed.

The initial contact with Pride Flooring was for someone to come to the home for an estimate on getting the stairway re-carpeted. Marc Amore came to the house. He brought a variety of carpeting samples normally used for stairs. He was very nice and professional. Showed me all the samples and explained the degree of quality for each. He didn't just try to get me to go with the most expensive. I did eventually go with the more expensive one but it was obviously better quality. I gave him the down payment that day. He said it would take 3-4 days for the order to come in after he ordered it. Once it came in I scheduled the installation for the following Saturday. Marc called me early that morning to let me know the installers were on their way. They arrived as he said, a little before 9am. They were punctual, very hard-working gentlemen. They were always very respectful of my home. From the moment they arrived to about 330p, they NEVER stopped. They took no breaks whatsoever. I'd supply them with water and coffee. They'd drink it while working. They even had to re-carpet the sides. After the finished, the installation was really beautiful. They really knew what they were doing. They worked methodically and were personable, friendly, and respectful. After they completed the installation, they picked up everything and did all the cleanup. They left the house wonderful. I gave them something to eat after they were all done and they were really appreciative. I hope they get paid well. A business is only as good as it's workers (or sub-contractors). When you have great workers, share the wealth. It's well worth it to keep a business profitable with happy workers too. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone. All went really smooth.

I hired Pride Flooring to install vinyl flooring on my second floor plus stairs. Their price was extremely competitive and their work was superior. From Sales to Installation the staff was great. Installers were friendly, totally accommodating and professional in their work. I coudlnt ask for a better company... These guys are a must hire

Punctual, professional. They showed up every day and worked full days until the job was completed. Workmanship of the highest caliber. The result is beautiful; beyond my wildest expectations. These guys are great.

I did this through Costco. I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them. They were very professional and they just installed everything about a week and a half ago. The quality of their work was good.

They were great and awesome. They were really helpful because we didn't know what we wanted it was kind of an emergency situation so they were really helpful. I would absolutely use them again.

I used them before on another project two years ago to install some engineered wood flooring and was SOLD on these guys. Outstanding from start to finish. The owners son "Brett" is the lead installer and is on site the entire time and makes the installation go very smoothly. Brett was able to offer some great advice on how to move an air return, adjust a casing, and how to make the stairs look seamless. Their knowledge of flooring and how to install is RIght! is just impressive they really do take Pride in the way they do flooring.

We had no problems with this company, they came when agreed to measure and give us an estimate for bamboo flooring. We then had to agree on an install date and after our changing it a couple of times we got a firm date. We were told that the install was to cover three days. However when the installers came they had six people on the job and were able to get the total job, living room, kitchen, family room, entry way and two closets done in one long day. This included ripping out and installing new baseboard. The installers were very concerned that we would be happy with the job, they continually cleaned up after themselves and made certain to inform us of any potential problems as they came up, Nothing seemed to cause them any concern an they got right down to it from the first. They had two saws set up in the yard and were trimming baseboard and flooring as needed. Often one will find bits of material left from a job left behind, however this was not the case here, they left the area a clean as it had been when they got there. When finished in the house they swept the entire area and mopped the floor to remove any dust they had left. All in all they were a great crew, who did a super job and did it in one day, which was much appreciated,

They were on time. They were very polite and professional. They were very throrough with their work. They finished the installtion according to schedule.

After a week of waiting patiently, I called and spoke to Nick who gave me the tried and true BS response of "oh, we've been having problems with e-mails" before getting any more details. Apparently, they were having problems with their phones too. He said Joe was out, but that when he came back and determined the situation, they would contact me. Well, Nick did call me back to say that they had spoken with their installers who decided they DIDN'T WANT THE JOB. Since they couldn't get their usual mark-up by SELLING the tile (although I had indicated that I didn't have ALL and would need to buy some more tile) they were too busy and didn't want my business. I was fully expecting to pay a fair price for the labor and was interested in discussing looking at their tile to fill in the gap. Apparently, that wasn't enough to even warrant the courtesy and professionalism of calling me to turn down the job. I wasted a week being patient. So, based upon the prior reviews, I'm sure they are pretty good if you buy the tile from them. However, all of you who may have bought some tile from another source, don't waste your time because if they can't get the entire mark-up profit, they are NOT INTERESTED.

The installation was unbelieveable!! Prompt, courteous, and did a total clean up afterwards including hoovering the new carpet. Juan and his associate were great installers! I recommend this company and will definitely return when the need arises.
