I called Plasma Pro Installations on Tuesday August 21st and reached Manny on his cell phone. He answered the call on the first attempt. I explained that I needed a plasma television mounted on my wall (we had guests arriving within a few weeks and I needed this completed asap) He asked me details, and then scheduled an appointment for the following Monday August 27th. One of his selling points over the phone was that if he was to install my television, he would warranty any wires that may need to be run behind/in the walls, where as other company's would not warranty/guaranty such work. This seemed a big plus. On August 25th he sent a text to cancel our appointment for the 27th. We had a storm coming through and he needed to prepare for it. I replied and quot;ok no problemand quot; (even though the weather reports clearly showed the storm would be passing us). I found it odd he sent a text rather than picking up the phone. When Monday finally arrived the only bad weather was a light rain, the storm has passed us by - so I text him to see if he could still come by - considering the weather was fine. I received no reply. By the next day not only had I not received a reply, he had yet to call me to reschedule the appointment he missed. It seemed odd for a company not to call back to reschedule an appointment they originally cancelled. I chalked it up to human nature, let it go, and sent him another text message asking if he wanted to reschedule. I prefer phone calls, but he seemed to prefer text messaging. After no reply I took it upon myself to call him for rescheduling (he should have been the one calling me). He answered on the first call, he apologized and he said he would be over that afternoon (Tuesday August 28). When he arrived he assessed my needs and explained we would need to run the component cables/wires in the wall behind, and that he would also run the electric wires for the television behind the wall, but not to worry as it was just a distance of a few feet. While in front of me he used his I-pad and immediately emailed me with links to items I would need to buy from Amazon, and that as soon as I received the items I was to call him and he would be out within a day or two for installation. By this time I felt more reassured. Not only had he came out to my house - he seemed the nerdy techie type, and knowledgeable and professional, easing my previous concerns. Surely the poor weather was the cause for what 'seemed' a lack of professionalism. I ordered the items from Amazon immediately and received them September 5, and notified him via text and email that same day Sept 5. Again no response. On September 6 I made a phone call - he answered - I didn't mention anything about him not responding to my text and email - I just let it go. Obviously he's a 'techie', he carries an I-phone, carries an I-pad, and SURELY he received my text and email, but regardless, I let it go. I needed this TV mounted asap and we scheduled the installation for the following Monday, September 10th, at 9 am. I stayed home from work expecting his arrival. By 10 am he hadn't shown, so I sent him a text asking what time he was coming. No response. I called his cell but he had his number forwarded to an answering service. In fact all three of his phone numbers (separate phone numbers for Broward County, West Palm Beach County, and Dade County) all three phone lines had been forwarded to an answering service. I called at least 6 times that day and received no response - leaving messages each time. I considered looking to find another installation company, but being that I had just missed a full day of work, I had no other time available that week to find someone else to do the installation, I kept hope alive . Time was ticking down till my guests would be arriving that weekend, I had a giant TV sitting in the middle of my living room, but was so busy trying to make up for lost work, I had no time to start the process from scratch. The best I could do was hope to make contact with Plasma Pro and hope they show up. I called every single day, 2 to 3 time daily, each time leaving messages with their live answering service. ZERO RESPONSE! Sadly my guests arrived and left that weekend - the TV sat on the living floor the entire time. After my guests left I was so upset I called one last time hoping Manny would answer just so I could vent my anger. To my surprise he answered the phone. He again apologized, said an emergency came up and he had to leave the country, and just got back home, and to please give him another chance. Being the understanding type, I again agreed to setting another installation appointment for that Friday September 28 (yes, again - and yes I must be a fool). And guess what? He didn't show! Since then, I had another company come out to my house, who told me I was better off - they told me anything Pro Installation would have done to run electrical wires behind the wall would have been a fire code violation and obviously a fire hazard, and it could also have nullified certain insurance policy's (which I verified), and that in all likelihood would also be a violation of our Home Owners Association rules (which I also verified). It's my honest opinion, that something is NOT right with this company. And would strongly advise against using Pro Installation for any service. I also suggest consumers we wary of reviews posted on a company's own webpage as these can be misleading. With regards the reviews posted on Pro Plasma Installations web page, I later did more research and it appears to me those reviews are just screen shots from some other web page that I wasn't even able to verify. AVOID PLASMA PRO INSTALLATIONS! consumers: do yourselves a favor and find someone else more capable and reliable.

Manny seemed very promising. I gave him a chance. He showed up last week on time. He worked diligently. I thought I found a gem. he then needed some supplies from a Home Depot. He went and after an hour returned without the bag. He had to go there and come back. By the time he installed the two TVs he was out of time to install the satellite radio. No problem. I asked him could he return this Friday (today). He said yes, 9am. I sent him a follow up email to confirm the time, but he didn't reply. I ordered a part he suggested to improve the TV set up. He was to return to install that and the satellite radio. He did not show up. I called him at 10am and he seemed like he didnt know who I was. Then he asked if he could call me right back. He never did. This is highly unprofessional and disappointing. I had more business for Manny, but he let me down. Now I am stuck having to do the work.
Description of Work: Installation of 2 large flat TVs. Was supposed to install a satellite radio but ran out of time. Was supposed to return a week later (today) to finish work and he failed to show up or call.

Manny came in ready to work, even working through lunch. He had originally planned to bring the wires across the ceiling and cover them but said he wanted a clean look. He wired the speakers into the ceiling. He was professional in every aspect. He even cleaned up the dust from the ceiling when he was finished.
Description of Work: We had two back speakers mounted to the ceiling to complete our home theater.

It was good.
Description of Work: I had a 40 inch TV installed on my wall. I provided the TV bracket and floating shelf for the DVD player and Manny mounted the units. He also installed an additional outlet for the DVD player. Manny and his assistant were very prompt and courteous. He even showed me how to manipulate the TV since the bracket can be pushed in/out and tilts.
