It was defective and the owner was very nasty and would not help in any way. Claims I was at fault in some way. Bad attitude and sloppy employee who came to my home. Left a mess. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I went through quite a few pool maintenance companies before coming across Penguin Pools. They were recommended to me by my pool builder and I could not be more pleased. Kim, the owner, is incredibly responsive. Any text message sent to her is responded to on that same day - if not within that same hour! We have our pool service on Wednesdays and if that changes, Kim is sure to reach out and let you know what day you can expect the service to be performed. Our pool is crystal clear. They are obviously doing a great job. We are very happy and I highly recommend them for your weekly pool service!

I've not yet seen the results.

Dee from Penguin Pools was very good in understanding what we needed. We just bought a home and are under construction. The pool needed to be up and running, but we weren't looking for a full renovation just yet. She was able to inspect the pool and make recommendations for the work that was urgent. We will have three small kids in the house and I liked that she made reviewed the pool with their safety in mind. We decided to drain and refill the pool, change out the light, and replace the original 30-yr old skimmer. The man they sent to do the skimmer work was quiet and professional. We signed up for their monthly pool maintenance.

They came out and maintained this week. We would use them again in the future.

I came home on my lunch hour to meet with the person who would give me an estimate on resurfacing the pool. I waited almost 2 hours. When I called no one answered. When my call was returned I was told there was an emergency so the estimator could not come. When I asked to reschedule, I was told they could not do estimates after 5pm or on weekends. During the day they could not give me an exact time, only a 4 hour window. Everyone was very nice and polite, but I could not use them because my job does not allow me to take off 4 hours in the middle of the day just to get an estimate. What I really didn't understand was why they couldn't just go look at the pool and give me an estimate via email. Penguin Pools was my first choice, based on reviews. I'm sorry they could not accommodate my schedule.

Penguin Pools are servicing our pool for over a year and we are very happy with their service. Will continue to recommend them every chance we can.

The guy that comes is always on time, if they can't come they call us and let us know, if he sick today he will still come tomorrow whatever but very good, very reliable, always in they get the job done in a very professional manner or time.

All work done satisfactorily as agreed upon.

Penguin Pools always keeps me in the loop about what is going on with my pool. Whether it's the pool cleaner, the pump, the filter, or whatever. Before they do any work of any kind, or decide to replace anything related to the pool, I always get a phone call, asking me if it is something I want to replace or to pay for. I am planning to take care of some long overdue issues with my pool, like the light, the return lines, the drain line, etc. and I will be using Penguin Pools for the work. When I asked my pool person, Melissa, about getting a drain hose that would go out to the street so I do not kill the new landscaping with chlorine water, she said that could be taken care of. I didn't even have to go to a pool store to get it myself. Penguin Pools is a great company with great employees. I highly recommend them.

We used them based on the recommendations we got online and we have been very pleased with them. We have a contract with them. I had a very good pool service in the past and then it went completely downhill. I also found out that the guy I was dealing with and who kind of started the company had left. So, it became a huge problem. Then we searched with somebody else and we got Penguin Pools. They have been doing the pool service ever since and they are doing a great job as well. They are dependable and reliable. They are responsive if you have a problem. I have been using their services for about two years now and I haven?t had any problems with them so far.

I have used this company for 5 years. Their service is great! The person that comes out is very conscientious and great to get along with. He does a very good job and is very attentive to detail.

Our pool loses water an inch a day. The company determined that the leak was due to the skimmer. This has been fixed for about $1,000 with a warranty. HOWEVER, the pool is still leaking! We have been calling and trying to have the person from the company to come over to find out now what the problem is despite the skimmer that they claimed fixed. For the last three weeks, we kept calling, both the office and the person who determined the cause of the leak leaving messages. No response was received after one and a half week. And then the person said she would come by. But she simply did not appear. No notice was given. We had to call her and the office again and again multiple times. After a week, she responded and made a promise that she would come. But I am not sure if she will turn up this time. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE. We were unable to use the pool for a month.

I told them I needed to talk to my husband and to our former pool company as they had never found such a problem. In the meantime, the new owners/tenants moved in. Before I had a chance to talk to my husband or former pool company, they informed the new owners/tenants of the problem and how they needed to make sure we got on that. Penguin Pools knew of our situation with our tenants/soon to be owners and I feel at that moment they were trying to take advantage of it. We were instructed by the tenant/owners that they would not close on the house until this problem was fixed. We contacted Penguin Pools and asked them to please fix this problem. This was 14 days before our closing. They said they needed to further diagnose it and then they had to diagnose it again because the first diagnosis wasn t conclusive enough ($80 a diagnostic trip). Then they felt they had identified the problem and would need to repair or replace a broken skimmer line. This is after they told the buyers and then went on to tell the buyers that this doesn t preclude that their MAY be other problems with the pool, like a leak somewhere else. Of course at this point we are hearing all of Penguin Pools intimations of problems with the pool from the buyer s attorney. In the meantime, the clock is counting down on our closing date. I didn t think we had time to call another company. The buyers agreed with the company that something had to be fixed. We were stuck in a corner. I gave them verbal authorization to start the repair 8 days before closing and signed a proposal of work 9 days before. I realize in South Florida you have issues of rain and lightning to deal with. We also had a Tropical Storm come through, which delayed our closing, but they hadn t even begun to fix the pool by then. We had continually called the company to get on this job to no avail as they had a different excuse every time. We finally got so desperate that my husband called the company and told them he would pay $350 extra if they would complete the job the day before our closing. Lo and behold, after working for approximately 6 hours, they completed the job. What I don t understand even given rain delays and the fact that they don t work on Sundays how they dragged their feet to get a 6 hour job done. They had to be bribed to get their job done in a timely manner. We had no time to hire another company to see if in fact there was a problem and to get the job done in a timely manner. On top of all this I looked at my credit card statement and noticed they tried to charge me $26 for something, I don t even know what because I didn t authorize it! My previous company, which is a reputable company didn t find any of these problems and didn t need to make all the assorted replacements, but Penguin Pools did.

I was using another company and switched to this company. They do such a good job. The cleaners are friendly and arrive on schedule. Because they do their job, they keep and eye on the pumps and keep them working.

I have had a few other companies clean my pool this one is the best so far. I work all day so I am not able to be at home when they come. I could never trust the other companies to do the work while I am at work. They always come and I am very satisfied.

The pool is meticulously maintained on the same day every week, so I know when to expect them. I have a screened pool deck enclosure so it's not a ''dirty'' pool, but I still get vacuumed weekly, whereas my last service rushed the job and did not perform full service with vacuum even though I paid monthly for full service. The weekly job takes from 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Beware of any pool service that's in and out in less than 10 minutes, for full service of a standard size pool! I will keep this company and have them refinish my pool with diamondbrite in 2007! Will report back with an honest evaluation of price and quality! So far, EXCELLENT! THANKS!

They are very professional all the way around. The personnel that clean the pools are very good at what they do. Our pool hasn't looked this good in a very long time, and the administrative staff are very thorough on scheduling, billing, and just making sure the ''customer'' is satisfied with the overall service. I would highly recommend them.

I USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TIME IN ANY CRISIS. THEY ARE PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. WE HAD A MISCOMMUNICATION ONE TIME AND THEY RECTIFIED IT BY GIVING ME A CREDIT.

THEY ARE VERY DEPENDABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A NOTICE TO LET US KNOW THEY JUST PUT THE CHEMICALS IN OUR POOL. I THINK THE PRICE IS GREAT.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A VERY GOOD JOB ON MY POOL. I AM HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DO. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I GIVE THEM AN A+.

THE COMPANY SENDS SOMEONE OUT TO CLEAN THE POOL. THEY ALWAYS DO A VERY NICE JOB OF IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYBODY WITH A POOL, AND WILL CONTINUE USING THEM MYSELF.

OUR OPINIONS OF THIS COMPANY ARE GREAT. WE LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THEY ARRIVE ON TIME, ARE RESPONSIBLE AND VERY COURTEOUS. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS POOL SERVICE TO OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS.
