Description of Work: This is update on my 8/17/15 "F" rating because company appears to have changed ownership and management and they contacted me to ask for another chance to fix a new unit they installed and had not been able to repair over a six week period. I gave them a second chance and they totally failed again. On this round the "new management" no showed twice and then didn't understand why I was upset. I have cancelled their contract for breach and turned the matter over to my lawyer. I contacted Angle's List to report the issues and was assured they would follow up and get back to me. Angie's List has never gotten back to me and contractor still is listed with an average "B" rating. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Description of Work: They came out for a free estimate and said we needed to replace the A/C unit. They claimed it would cost us a few thousand dollars to repair it, that the part was on back order and it would take 3-4 weeks to receive. They also quoted us $6,400 approx. for replacing the unit. I called another service provider who ended up fixing it and said we could get a couple more years out of the unit. They also said it would only cost half of what One Hour quoted us to replace the entire unit. Vans was slow in answering our calls and never even followed up on the quote they provided.

 + -1 moreI called to schedule a service on 9/21 at 5pm. I did not receive a follow-up call at all on 9/21. On the next day, 9/22 at 3pm I called and advised the person answering the telephone that I wanted to know why I did not receive a courtesy telephone call on 9/21 or 9/22 regarding a confirmed service appointment made on 9/21. I was advised to hold the line while she checked with the dispatcher. After a few minutes, she returned and indicated she could not explain the lapse in courtesy and would schedule an appointment for the evening of 9/22. I advised her that I found it highly unprofessional and that I would note my dissatisfaction on Angie's List

Description of Work: I call the company to get some one out to give me an estimate for replacing my AC unit that was costing me a fortune to run. They sent an expert who run a calculation to find out the right unit for my house. Turn that my existing one was to big and was cycling way to often.He recommend replacing the AC for the right size, and what I like the most the company back it up with a written "Comfort Guarantee" non of the 3 other companies that I call wants to do that, They just give me excuses!The next day the installation crew show up with white uniforms "Like Doctors" super nice people. They cover the whole house with protective cloth and put shoe covers every time the walk inside the house. This is rare in Miami, Let me tell you. About 10 o'clock an other guy from Blue Breeze One Hour, show up with the City Permit.They work all day non stop, just to be sure I will have AC that same day. I got 2 small children and I was very worry about having AC that day.Now, is been over 3 months since they installed and every thing works great. My electrical bill when $100 below last year Vs. last year bill. I can wait to see how much I will save this year along on electricity.I quick tip. Join the ON Call from FPL, that helps few bucks as well.Any way they come back last week to do a pre-season check up to sure the AC works find this coming summer. Is going to be a HOT one.I have recommend them to 2 of my friend already and they were very happy! Plus they send me a $25.- Gift Card as a Thank you.

 + -1 moreThey were professional, trustworthy, and worked efficiently. Not sure how much this work normally costs, but what we needed was really extensive, so we found the pricing quite reasonable. We'd definitely use them again!
Description of Work: We had an old A/C unit that was mismatched and never properly installed (underneath our house with no access!). They not only removed the old unit, but put in all new ducts, new unit, etc.

 + -1 moreThey overcharged me just to show up. They did not install the thermostat properly, and it would always stay set to Heat and not Cool. When I advised them of this they argued with me. I should not have had to argue with them to get them to come out and fix it.

 + -1 moreThey are terrible. They did a big sales pitch and satisfaction was guaranteed. Unfortunately the units have been performing really poorly. I wanted to go with one type of unit and they talked me out of it and into another one because their guarantee ends. Their units have not been working very well. They have had to come out 4 or 5 times for brand new units since they installed them, which is ridiculous. I've had other units that I bought that ran for 10 years without having any problems. The quality of the actual product is poor. The installers were good although they did not complete everything they needed to. I had to do a follow up inspection and call them back for another session. They didn't test the unit properly because they only tested one side and they didn't test the heat. It is a heating and cooling system. They have been out 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years. They seem to nickel and dime me and I've had to fight with them. I am very unhappy with the units and they don't perform very well. I would not recommend this company because they don't stand behind the product that they recommend. They were more expensive and I thought I was going to be getting a better unit for what I paid. They are very professional but their product is terrible. I would never use them again.

 + -1 moreIn August 2008, I purchased two Comfort Club memberships (one for the main unit and one fro my guest house). The club provides for 2 annual tune ups and cleanings as well as discounted rates for services. After the tech didn't show up, I wrote to the company and was told my concerns would be shared with "management" and they would get back to me. They never did. The Comfort Club memberships aren't cheap, but they "breakdown free guarantee" seemed attractive. Unfortunately they have no value if the company doesn't show up or return a call/email. The Risk Free guarantee is only good for the first 6 months. When I had service done in August, the tech damaged the evaporator coil and it had to be replaced. It was replaced at no cost but the tech who did it (Desi) berated me (!) because it had to come out of his own pocket. Given the multitude of choices in So Fla, you would be better served by choosing a more reputable and responsive provider
Description of Work: Twice Annual tune up and cleaning as provided for in the Comfort Club was scheduled. In early April, I was called for my spring service which I scheduled for Sat 4/18 8 am-Noon. By 12:20, the tech had not show up and had not called. This was not the first time a tech had not shown up, but in the past at least they called.

 + -1 moreYou make an appointment. They show up on time or they call. They figure out which system works. He really fixes it every time. It's a very thorough job and we never have to worry. He speaks English. They do follow up, they keep in contact. They have an answering machine, when they call back, they have all the information ready for you when they can come out, appt., etc.

 + -1 moreBlue Breeze Air Conditioning got here on time and did a fairly nice job. There were a few things that I wasn't happy about. I had to chase them down to get some answers to my questions and some of their work was sloppy. The area around the grates didn't look good after they were done. Their finishing work needs to improve.
Description of Work: We had them re-do the duct system throughout our whole 2000 square foot home.

 + -1 moreI WAS NOT VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED. THERE WAS A FEW THINGS WRONG WITH IT AND THEY HAD TO COME BACK 3 OR 4 TIMES TO FIX IT. IT WAS ABOUT A YEAR BEFORE THEY GOT THE UNIT TO STOP LEAKING.
