MR DOOR MAN

Without informing us, they substituted the brand of the doors that we ordered, for another brand. They substituted our closet bi-fold doors for cheapy bi-fold doors that sell for $80 at home depot. They initially denied substituting them. When we proved it, their response was - "that's what the distributed sent us." They refused to provide us with the doors that we actually ordered. In addition to that, their installation of the doors was incredibly sloppy, and we had to hire other people to fix their work. I would not recommend this company.

I had a no frills door installed at a side exit and had them put in a cat door. Immediately, I could not close the door without 2 hands, I was told "it just needed to be broken in"! also, they had to cut the door to fit, I had noticed swelling at the bottom, it hadn't been properly sealed, they came out and corrected that. I noticed they man with a quizzical look when my door required 2 hands to close, but instead of correcting, he left........ Yesterday, I finally had to call a lock smith as my yanking on the door had done it's job after 5 years and I couldn't close it...... Let me say, trying to do the right thing, this no frills door ended up costing me almost $1000........ Never again will I use them.

A few years ago, Mr. Doorman installed a impact front door with side highlights. I recently noticed that the door needed an adjustment as the top was rubbing. After talking to Julia she sent a repair person that adjusted the door, painted a few nicks and checked all the bolts and screws and vacuumed the area. He had called that morning before he came and told me the approximate time and was here right on time. And most importantly there was no charge. So they stand behind their product. I highly recommend this company that specializes only on doors. They have an actual store where you can see various doors and discuss the various options. They have already replaced my front door and my father's side door at a good price. My daughter is also planning to replace her front door with impact. I always talk to Julia. She knows doors.

I went to this store on a Saturday to talk to them about interior doors. First, I wited almost an hour to talk to the only person they had working. After getting some other quotes for the same produst, I deceided to go with Mr. Doorman. First they told me it would take 3-4 weeks for the doors to arrive; then it would coast an additional $75.00 for delivery. I thought the delivery fee was outrageous, but since I hve no one to pick them up for me I was a delivery hostage. The doors of course took longer than 3-4 weeks to arrive. Once they were received, they contacted me to schedule the delivery. I specified a Saturday delivery. I was told they do not deliver on Saturday; I specified whenI ordered the doors that I needed a Saturday delivery. After placing me on hold for about 5 minutes, I wias told the doors would be delivered on Saturday and was given a delivery window. I gave the person on the phone - Junior- my cell phone number. Guess what- the doors never were delivered on Saturday! I never receieved a phone call from this company to tell me the deliery would not take place. When I called the store on Monday morning, no one apologized for my inconvieience, no one could explain why my doors hd not been delivered. Do not spend you money here. This company has no idea what customer service is.

I have had several doors replaced through the life of our home which is 35yrs old. The installer did an amazing job in half the time it has taken anyone else we have had. Would highly recommend Mr. Doorman to anyone looking to replace there doors.

Julia at the store was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The installer did a good job of removing the existing door to not damage the stucco on the outside of the house. The trimwork and the caulking was neatly installed. Keep an eye out to verify that the correct number of screws per the approval are being installed on the door. I asked the installer to add some more screws to comply with the approval. Otherwise, a very good experience and I would recommend Mr. Doorman to others.

Arrived on time, fast, clean reliable service. Job completed perfectly, just as promised. Very happy and will use again.
