Montero's Tree Service

Orlando arrived very early in the morning as scheduled and work started very quickly. His men were careful not to damage any other bushes and plants around the trees being trimmed. They cleared all debris and left the yard clean and looking wonderful. I am very pleased with the work and plan to use them again in the future.

MM has struck again! Mighty Montero arrived right on time with two huge trucks to slice, comb,climb, cart away,mulch and make vanish all debris.What a service. For four hours 4 quiet knowledgeable men removed piece by piece all dead limbs and thinned Two huge ficus trees which by the way hung over water.They thinned a bulky century plant with all its points, cute a massive boganvilla off roof. cut side trees from around house, the trees look like they had been to a wonderful stylist. In addition they took each piece carefully away and raked and swept off lawn until the whole yard looked like a painting. The service is so good I can,t rave enough !!!!!!!

Orlando did a great job! I love his passion for trees (and for animals also). He checked with me several times to confirm that everything was to my liking! Will call on him in the future!

I called Montero's Tree Service and set up an appointment for an estimate. They responded quickly, he came out and gave an estimate to trim the trees..On the day we scheduled, Mr Montero (a certified arborist) and his crew arrived on time, early in fact.. The work was performed in a very professional manner.His team did a great job.The trees look great. The cleanup was quick and they left my yard immaculate.They removed all the debris so I didn't have to wait for the County to pick it up. I would highly recommend Montero's Tree Service.

Note, indeed the call was on the 19th (not the 9th) as originally written, however your response of not returning the call due to the memorial day weekend didn't make sense when the 19th was six days before Memorial Day. I guess if you take a week just to return a call and discuss (not do) the work, it makes sense, but that seems a bit unprofessional. If you would have mentioned "we're busy and it may take a week to get back to you," I would have set my expectations accordingly. When you said "I'll give the message to Mr. Montero and he'll get back to you," I assumed that would occur.

Montero's Tree Service was on time, very professional and did a great job with the tree trimming. They are certified arborists which help because I have many fruit trees in the back yard.

Mr. Montero responded promptly to my initial call and then submitted a detailed description of the work to be performed for what I thought was a fair price. He and his crew of three workers arrived when he said they would and finished the work in one and a half days, as estimated. All the work was completed in a very professional manner, the clean-up was perfect, and the result was beautiful. They even did extra things not specified on the work order, for no additional cost.

Montero's Team did a fantastic job and made sure to restore and clean the areas they were working, They arrived early and completed the first half of the job which was the removal. They returned the following day to plant the Clusias. Using them again to now plant the Clusias in the backyard fence. Definitely recommend using Montero's Tree Service.

My neighbor and I share a duplex townhouse. We have a lot of foliage with big Oaks and 1 other type of tree. We called a about 3 tree "experts" and Mr. Montero was the last one we spoke to. My neighbor on the other had used his services a couple of months before we called him. I personally was impressed about the way he spoke of the trees. A self-professed "Tree-Hugger". His pricing was similar to the other people we spoke with. He and his team arrived early morning on time. They trimmed the trees very efficiently and even swept the ground of our entrance and patio. Everything went without a hitch. We strongly recommend them.

Montero Trees is a first class company who provides great customer service and actually gives the customer more than they expect! This is so unusual for today. They arrived a little early and worked throughout the day. They addressed all of my concerns with where the cut branches fall and their cleanup of the branches, leaves, etc., and left our yard spotless! Orlando Montero is terrific and even played in our yard afterwards with our grandson and our 2 dogs. His staff including Javier were very professional, respectful and courteous, and his wife Laura our contact in the their office is a pleasure to work with. We used Montero Tree Service 3 years ago, and most recently 6 months ago at our Mother-in-Laws house for tree work. They are the best and we appreciate the job they do and how they treat their customers. Our trees look great!!!

This was my best household service experience since moving to Miami over a year ago. Frankly, I forgot about Angies' List before calling several other tree services which were either very disappointing or didn't return my call. I then found Montero's Tree service on Angie's List. Mr. Montero was very professional in responding to my initial call, timely in visiting my house and providing a proposal for his services, and scheduling and executing his work. His knowledge and expertise are the best. He is also a real gentleman. The work performed exceeded my expectations. He and all of his staff are very courteous. They have very high standards of Customer Service. After this initial service experience, I contracted with him for ongoing tree maintenance services. Thank you Mr. Montero and thank you Angie's List.

Mr. Montero the business owner called me the same day I sent him an email on Jan. 5, I explained to him that I had a Royal Poinciana tree in front my home that had uprooted the sidewalk and my driveway. I explained that I had a county inspector come out and he stated that the tree was planted by the developer and it was not the county's responsibility to remove the tree and make repairs. Mr. Montero said that the county inspector is mistaken and the tree is indeed is the county's responsibility as they instructed the builders to plant that tree. Wow! I find this so refreshing that Mr. Montero took his time to explain this in detail to me and gave me hope that indeed this is a county issue and I was not going to have to pay thousands of dollars to have the tree removed and redo my driveway! I would give Mr. Montero more stars if they were available! Highly recommend his co. for an honest opinion.

Orlando was very professional and courteous. He explained in detail the work that would be performed, sent the estimate in a timely manner and performed the work as described. Highly recommend!

Mr. Montero and crew showed up promptly at 7:30 a.m., as he had said they would, and started at 8, when our Village allows work to start. They worked diligently and quickly. We were not here when they finished and they cleaned up well. Mr. Montero even made a special trip to the dump to dispose of the heliconia debris, which would have clogged his mulcher. They left no debris here. He and his crew of several men is very professional but he directs everything, and he always asked if he was unsure of what we wanted. He was very aware of cutting everything properly. Summary: Overall, we are very pleased and look forward to working with this company again. Mr. Montero is a gentleman and his price was fair.

The work that Orlando and his team performed was amazing. The pruning of the large trees was done so well you could not tell they had been trimmed. The weather didn't cooperate and Orlando made sure to inform of schedule changes. The clean up was spotless. Orlando is a certified arborist so he knows what he is doing and his love of trees makes the work he does even better. Cannot say enough good things!

After a weather related delay the crew arrived on the agreed day 1/2 hour early. They went straight to work and did an excellent job pruning the trees using mainly hand saws which is the proper way to prune a tree. When the job was completed they carefully cleaned up the property including the pool. They were also considerate enough to put a drip cloth under their bucket truck while it was in our driveway to prevent oil stains on the concrete. Overall, a good job albeit a little pricey.

First, the owner, Orlando, came to my house within 30 minutes of my call to see the tree and what needed to be done. He was prompt and courteous. The written estimate arrived within 24 hours via email along with a date that work could be started: four business days in the future. When there was inclement weather, I received a call in the morning two mornings in a row to advise of same and to also advise of the date they would be able to come out, weather permitting,to perform the job. The work was performed two business days later. Orlando's crew came even earlier than expected on the designated day. The site was cleaned up very well. Would definitely use again!

This was the first time I used Montero's Tree Service. Everything I contracted to have done was completed, plus additional work! Mr. Montero supervised the work and worked with me to ensure work was done to my satisfaction. He has a crew of hard workers who are respectful of the garden and the customer. He and his crew are very professional and customer-oriented. They left my garden looking beautiful! Orlando Montero is a huge animal-lover and nature -lover and made sure the habitat for wildlife was protected. I will definitely use his services again.

From the day that Orlando came to the house to do the estimate through the day his crew did the work, Montero's was one of the best companies we've worked with in Miami. Professional, courteous, punctual, reasonably priced, and cleaned up the yard better than it's been in ages. Truly a great company.

Mr. Montero was punctual and professional. His team of 4 men worked quickly and and did more than what I had expected. I've used other services for the same type of work, but Montero's Tree Service is the best. I had to wait to get on his schedule because he has so much work and now I know why. Orlando arrived early with a crew of three and worked nonstop for at least eight hours. What I especially liked was the fact that the workers did the majority of the work with handsaws so as to not damage the trees. The yard looks beautiful and the trees will be very healthy. Orlando did a number of things that we had not planned on, such as the removal of roots in the waterfall located in the back, and yet did not charge me for the additional work. I was extremely pleased by the results and will definitely hire Orlando again next year.

From the first phone call I knew that this was a company I would be happy dealing with. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. I scheduled an appointment and Orlando Montero came out a few days later. The palm stump was removed and he also dug down deeper so that I could plant a tree in that same spot, at no extra charge. I had questions about some other trees on my property and Orlando had the answers. He is a certified arborist so I appreciated and trusted his knowledge. I have scheduled another appointment in the next couple of weeks for tree trimming. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and quality work provided by this "A" rated company.

It went so well we hired Montero to come out tomorrow and do more work! Montero's Tree Service is a first class operation. It starts with Mr. Montero himself and permeates through the entire staff. I spoke with Mr. Montero at length before having him come out and give me an estimate. He is a certified arborist and is extremely knowledgeable. He took time to walk my property and identified each tree/plant, explained what was happening to them and told me what the ramifications of the sprinkler hitting the bark of practically all my trees (fungus growth & staining). My stand of blue bamboo is a rust color! In the 4 years we have owned the house neither the lawn service company, the sprinkler company, nor the previous tree service company brought this to my attention, much less spend an 1 hour explaining--before hiring! Montero not only pruned my ficus hedge but also cut dead branches, removed strangler vines, and fertilized. He went beyond what was expected. The job took 2 days. He and his crew were always there on-time, were extremely courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend Montero Tree Service and will continue to use them...my property already looks better!
