Montero's Tree Service

Orlando Montero originally came for a quote for trees only. I eventually had him quote for the landscaping as well. He was polite, on time, returned all calls and his quote was thorough. The work was done in the time frame originally discussed. I would use his company again.

They arrived at about 7am and got straight to work. The crew were very professional and knew what they were doing. It is important that the people who cut the trees don't ruin the shape of the tree and Orlando and his crew are very knowledgeable about how to trim back trees so as to maintain the beauty of the tree. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and I would recommend them to anyone. They cleared all the branches and cleared my porch and decks of debris so that it was completely clean afterwards.

I was given an estimate by Orlando Montero the previous week after he had taken a look at the trees and discussed the work that he would do. It was scheduled for today and the crew showed up and got to work before 8am. They seldom used the chain saw so they did their work with minimal disturbance to the neighbor hood. It involved going very high up in the trees with harnesses. They did a very professional job of opening up the canopy and I am very pleased with their work. They removed all the debris and hauled it away. I am planning on using them again to do more work now that I know what an expert job they do. I would recommend them to anyone.

On time and my yard looks 100% better; the trees look neater and cleaner.

He was very punctual. He was excellent, knew what he was doing, and the cost was very reasonable.

All work was done as as outlined in proposal and we were exceptionally satisfied. Orlando Montero, the owner, personally supervised the job from start to finish. His staff is very courteous & they paid attention to all aspects of the job and didn't cut corners anywhere. The job site was left very clean. We can't say enough good things about our experience. Over the years, I've contracted with tree trimming services and have never been satisfied until we worked with Montero Tree. Their pride in craftsmanship is apparent.

The workers arrived at 7:15 AM (15 minutes before the appointment time). They used a cherry picker to reach the top of the tree and branches. The tree was at least 40 - 50 feet tall. They were very careful with all cuts so that my house would not be affected by falling branches. They cleaned up all cuttings and stacked them neatly by the curb for city pickup. In addition they cleaned up all sawdust in the area. It was a neat careful job.

Performed excellent work for a reasonable price and was a real pleasure to work with from start to finish. Mr Montero's personal attention was impressive and continued throughout the project, from estimate to conclusion. His suggestions on what to do were invaluable. They arrived on time and completed all work exactly as promised or better! The expertise and professionalism that he and his crew displayed speaks for itself...the outcome was even better than we could have hoped!

Overall, we would highly recommend Montero's Tree Service. Orlando was both amiable and professional. He and his team arrived on time, completed the work to schedule, did a thorough and professional job, and offered some useful advice. We were impressed by their work and would not hesitate to use them again.

This was a very large job pruning many overgrown trees , vines and trash holly trees that had intruded on other shrubbery on our property line. Mr Montero stayed right on the job and continually supervised his workers, even getting into the harness and bucket to finish pruning the large specimen oak tree in front of my home. I can't say enough in praise for this company, they are expert at their jobs,are prompt, polite and take their time to make sure each finished tree looks natural and healthy. I have had other companies trim our trees, but Mr. Montero is truly an expert who loves his work and takes special care to insure the health of the trees he is pruning. I can recommend them highly and will hire them again.

Mr. Montero showed up with a bucket truck, a mulcher and 3 other men. He promptly and very well pruned my white oak tree that had been branching over the house and on the street. He took out a lot of deadwood and shortened others. The tree is now beautiful and not hacked as other landscapers have done. After I saw his work I asked him for an on the spot quote for trees in my backyard. This quote was much less than another. He mulched all the wood and cleaned everything. A very professional job.

They were very professional from start to finish. Mr. Montero was punctual for our meeting for the free estimate. He was very honest with me from the beginning about the work associated with the job. There was no access for the bucket truck, so it would require a crew of workers and a lot of rigging. He also let me know that it would be a few weeks before he could begin because he had pending jobs to complete. I appreciated his honesty very much. Mr. Montero also supervises all the jobs his company does. He is a very hands on owner who takes pride in his company and the work they perform. I had the estimate the next day I believe. I was very pleased with the price and the work that was done. They left the wonderful mulch in containers and piles as I requested. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

I called Mr. Montero for an estimate and he came out right away. My job was much smaller than he usually does so he said he would keep my info and if he was doing a job in my area, he would call me to see if I still wanted the work done. He did just that and I scheduled appt. The turn around time was less than 2 wks, I think. My original estimate was only for the 2 trees and then I inquired about the ficus hedge when he was at my house. Mr. Montero saw that my banana trees and pepper bushes were in need of some cleaning up and took care of those as well. Very friendly and professional and left the property clean and free of debris.

Mr. Montero was on time for both the estimate and service appointments. His equipment was perfect for the job and his crew was polite and hard working. I am currently hiring him to clean up my north property line and install 8 - 10 new trees.

I contacted Montero's Tree Service for an estimate. The owner came out himself to give the estimate. We walked through the property and identified the trees that needed cutting, he was very knowlegable about the varies kinds of trees (some are exotic) and I felt comfortable in letting him do the job. He offered more services for the money than other bids I had gotten so I went with him. The owner was part of the crew (very pleasant group) that did the job. They did a superb job on the trees and they cleaned up all the debris and took it with them. As a bonus they even cleaned out my gutters. I highly recommend Montero's Tree Service.

They cut them down and hauled away the trimmings. They did an excellent job. They showed up when they said they would, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. I have no complaints, they did everything I asked them to do. They weren't the most expensive, or the cheapest, but for the job they did it was a great value.

He carefully and completely explained what was happening and gave me the cost of treatment. He was honest to indicate the treatment may not save all three but there was a good chance for one and perhaps all three. He showed up on time, did the job and left the property perfectly clean. The work was great but what really impressed me is how serious he is about trees and that he did not try to over sell me his service. I have already decided to use him for additional work with large treees in my back yard. Last comment - use this company! I

Orlando arrived promptly @ 7:00 a.m. and finished five hours later. Him and his team work efficiently and professionally. They made a neat pile near the street. He even carted out other trash which was near the house. This team is great. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't use his service other than to receive the estimate. I left a voice mail and then received a follow up call that same day from Laura. She told me that Orlando Montero should be calling me back that same date. I didn't hear from him until the following morning and he dropped by shortly thereafter to provide the estimate. He stressed/emphasized the point that tree service is all he does but was rather aggressive in getting the point across. I asked him to provide the estimate via email (rather than fax) but had to call his office 4 times before they finally sent it out 36 hours later. The price was higher than one of the other estimates so I decided not to use him.

Although they did not do the job, I found that they were professional and honest enough for their reasons for turning it down.

The Montero's team show up on time and began working early. They are professionals. They cut the large tree away from the house with dropping one branch on the roof. They then started on the palms and completed these in about 2 hours. They removed all dead branches and cleaned all the flower beds. And has a bonus they put new mulch down. Best of all is they cleaned up all the branches and other debris from the house. They raked then used a blowers and when they left the property was spotless. The owner takes pride in his business and he has an excellent team.

Mr. Orlando Montero met with my husband and I on April 9th. We walked around the property together, we pointed the things out we were concerned with, Mr. Montero made suggestions and additional recommendations as to what the entire scope of work should be. On April 10th, we had a proposal which covered everything and we thought the price was reasonable. We agreed to do the work on the 20th. Mr. Montero plus three workers showed up around 7:30 a.m. with all equipment, ready to start the job. Mr. Montero is a Certified Arborist and he supervised the entire job from start to finish. Our trees look fabulous, any air plants or ferns which required relocating, they took care of. The trimmed back all plant material which was starting to grow thru our pool screens. They fertilized a palm in the front yard. They trimmed back a lot of overgrown hedges in the side yard. They cleaned up and hauled away all the debris from the job to the dump. When they left, you could not tell how extensive the work was, everything just looked beautiful. I can't believe it, I didn't know how beautiful the trees are in the front yard. Now the big Poinciana has been cut back and I don't have to worry about limbs damaging the pool cage, or roof of the house, during a storm. I recommend Montero's Tree Service. We will definitely work with them again and I am planning asking Mr. Montero to help with landscaping a front island and new plant material for the pool area.

Mr. Montero was very prompt and professional in responding to my call, coming out to the property and giving a written estimate via email. This is a home I recently purchased in which needed a major cleanup of the entire surroundings of the home before beginning the landscape. He obtained a permit from the City of Coral Gables within 1 day in order to remove a tree that was causing damage to roof, neighbor, and plumbing. The crew was at my home at 7:30am and worked for 3 days on the property. They hauled away everything. They did a phenomenal job and I am very pleased with the work they did. I highly recommend their services and plan to use them for landscaping as well.
