Montero's Tree Service

I made an unbelievable mistake and hired a company who knocked on my door to trim my trees. I should have known better. They just caught me at the right time - tree trimming was on my "to-do" list. I hired them on the spot have regretted it every since. After my many, beautiful, mature trees were hack from below, leaving Dr. Suess-like puffs on the highest part of the trees (and virtually nothing in the mid and lower sections of the trees), I checked Angie's list and called Orlando in a panic. He was prompt, friendly, and nearly cried when he saw my trees! He was very knowlegable, and spent about an hour at my house walking the yard, inspecting the damage and speaking with me. I was desperate to have the tops of the trees thinned out a bit so as to let sun to the plants and grass below (which was what I had been seeking from the first company), and to help correct the ridiculous hair cut my trees had been given. I would have eagerly paid him to get started had he agreed. However, instead Orlando told me that nothing could or should be done now, and that I should wait a year prior to touching them further and at that time he could come back and re-evaluate. I practically begged him to allow me to pay him, and he flatly refused. I will definitely be calling him when the time is right!

Montero's Tree Service is the best I've used in Miami without question.. Orlando and crew are professional, polite, arrive on time, come fully prepared for the day never asking for anything and they get the job done and leave your property perfect. They have the proper equipment for any job big or small. Orlando is also a Certified Arborist and can help with any issues you may have on your properly such as old growth trees and how to save them or treat them if there is a disease issue. Orlando (owner) is extremely hard working and honest. I would 100% recommend Montero's Tree Service. I've used them for over 10 years.

Orlando and his crew arrived early in the morning and worked most of the day. I have many different species of trees and palms in my yard and he was familiar with them all, including the less common ones. He puts a lot of thought into his work and did a great job. They also cleaned up nicely when they were done. The yard looks better than it has in a long time. This was the first time I had used his services, and it won't be the last.

The crew was on time, organized, finished the job without leaving any loose ends. Orlando the owner is very knowledgeable, and very punctual with appointments and follow ups.

Mr. Montero's work is exceptional. He was here to work with his workers and they were prompt, well equipped and thorough. Our property looks more open and twice the size!

My trees looked so great after Orlandos company styled them for hurricane season, that I wanted to plant a hedge and style the yard too, His landscaping skills are as fine as the tree work. My yard looks wonderful. His team ro;;ed in barrow after barrow of great soil and did planting, quietly, efficiently and stylishly. I am so happy with yard and the two wonderful large sea grass beach plants he gave me for the front. He and his team are unbeatable.

Orlando and his crew are first rate. They are professional, efficient, polite and take pride in their work. Their work is of the highest standard. All work was performed in the time frame and price as estimated. We couldn't be more satisfied. We definitiely will use Montero's Tree Service again.

Mr. Montero and his employees were fantastic. Mr. Montero was punctual for our first meeting and very responsive to my phone calls and messages. He was right on time, if not a few minutes early, the morning he was to clean out the backyard. His employees were very hard-working, professional and polite. The work done was exactly what was asked, as well as exactly what he told me he was going to do. I plan on using Mr. Montero for other projects in the future.

My trees have been to a top stylist.....not just a tree barber... and they love it. I can see the difference in two days and the whole yard looks beautiful. Orlando came by as promised and gave me an estimate.I arranged a date and he was here at exact promised time with a large piece of equipment to grind and mulch debris and a crew of three.They did not dismantle a gate to bring in a cutting machine but did all the work by hand. The crew was terrific, careful, quiet, clean and pleasant.Orlando stayed throughout the whole process to direct and oversee everything. I cannot recommend them highly enough, all in all it was avery great experience. I'm very very happy with Montero tree service and Angies list for finding him.

Orlando Monteros and his Monteros Tree Service crew were fantastic! He and his company will be the ones we call for tree work in the years to come. He came for an estimate on short notice, arrived a few minutes early on the day our work was scheduled, and he and his crew got right to work. They did the difficult tree removal job skillfully and carefully (the trees were crowded and not easy to get at in some places), taking care not to damage our pool and yard. They completely removed all downed tree debris from our yard, and had it shredded on the spot with their onsite equipment. All stumps were ground completely, and the places where each tree had been were cleaned up completely, and then raked smooth so you would hardly know a tree had been there. They did a completely professional job, and each Monteros Tree Service employee who was present at our house to do the work was courteous and friendly to my husband and myself. All in all, a great company to work with.

Orlando was very pleasant and provided a very competitive estimate for the work to be performed. His experience and education regarding tree care really showed and provided me with a lot of confidence that the job would be done correctly. He and his crew showed up right on time and carefully performed all of the work required. They even went out of their way to prune a few other small trees that needed some cleaning up without charging me for it. They thoroughly cleaned up and left the yard looking great. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in need of tree service.

The estimate seemed reasonable and we agreed to the work. Orlando Montero is very professional, knows trees, and his crew the same. Cleanup was also very professional There was not a twig or leaf left on the ground when they were finished.

Montero Tree Service has been one of the best contractors we have worked with on Angie's List or ever for that matter. We had started off requesting a quote from Mr. Montero for the removal of three nuisance trees and two aged podocarpus hedges. Mr. Montero was very friendly and punctual to our appointment. We also discussed other ideas we had for the yard and Mr. Montero provided lots of useful suggestions. Shortly after our meeting we received a quote that was very competitive compared to other bids and decided to choose Montero Tree Service to redesign our landscaping. All the work done was much quicker and smoother than we could have ever imagined. His crew is top notch. They were very respectful of our home during the whole process and everything was kept very clean without any sort of damage. Mr. Montero performed many other misc work not included in the proposal to help beautify our yard to which we were greatly appreciative. We have not come across many companies that go above and beyond what was requested. In fact he helped us locate an unused buried well. We had no idea one existed! He saved us a big expense as we no longer need to install a well for our sprinkler system. They are incredibly attentive to detail and all the installations looked immaculate. All their plants are of the highest quality and better priced than any of those big box retailers. In fact their quality and price is superior to any nurseries we have visited as well. Mr. Montero also introduced us to many other lovely flowering plants to accent our garden. Overall this has been one of the best experiences we've had doing work on our home and Montero's Tree Service made it happen. We love looking out our windows now as we have so much more pride in our garden. They were professional, super friendly, very helpful and did an excellent job at a great price. We plan to use them again for future work and would recommend them to anyone. Montero's Tree Service is amazing!

I contacted Montero's tree and they responded right away. Orlando came by to look at the job and within two days I had an estimate via email. They were available to start the job right away which was what I needed. They arrived on time, worked diligently and all were very courteous. They took all the debris away and left no mess. Orlamdo went above and beyond to accommodate me and I would highly recommend using Montero's Tree Service

It went outstanding. Orlando showed up exactly on time and went above and beyond what was expected. He was personally there to oversee the entire job and paid very close attention to detail to make sure there was no damage to my home and that the job was done right. Everything was cleaned up and debris was cleared and removed from the property. I would highly recommend Montero's tree service to anyone.

It went great! Mr. Montero came, gave an estimate and performed the work almost immediately. The main purpose was to remove a mahogany tree that was leaning against a wall and breaking it and the driveway with its roots. In addition, he had his crew trim several umbrella trees and remove some of their roots. He also spread the tree grindings as mulch - nice idea. Mr. Montero is very courteous and gave also gave us ideas in replacing some hedges. We will be calling on him again in the near future for additional work in the back yard this time.

Mr Montero did what he said he would do and more. The fact that I am a repeat Angie's List customer should say it all. I wish all contractors in Miami were as dependable.

Montero?s Tree service was very punctual and professional from the first day we spoke with Orlando, the owner. He was personally involved each time we met to go over what we needed to be done and while the work was being done. He was flexible and was able to schedule the job so that it would not interfere with other work that was being done on the property. He and his men came in at the exact time he said they would and they finished the entire job in one day. They cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away that same day. It was a pleasure to deal with Montero?s Tree Service. The owner is a wonderful person and a true professional who insists that the work being done perfectly. The quality of their work is excellent and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

First , we chose the design and plants to be used. Next day removal of old plants and sick trees along with the 2 storage sheds. The new plants , trees and sod were installed right away and the job looked finished by the end of the day .
