hey did was absolutely botched, and gaping holes were left in my walls and ceilings. The exterior work looks so bad and has aged horribly. They literally left a giant crater in the side of my house. What's important to know is that ***The work did not pass inspection for OVER TWO YEARS!! North Miami Beach pulled their work permit from Mr. sparky because of how much they were failing in the area*** - absolutely insane. The inspector who came to my house was astounded the first two times he came at how many things were done illegally. Eventually someone told me the original electrician who did the work (Zach) was fired from the company. Awesome. And if I hadn't stayed on top of them they would have never come out! Unbelievable. Now it's 2024, and my house still looks ugly where you did any work. All of my supposed "ten year" fire alarms have died (it's not even been four full years since installation), and you all told me they were out of warranty and that I woke have to call Kiddi directly. Absolutely ridiculous. Working with them is NOT worth the headache. They clearly spend all of their money on their commercials and advertising, not on training their team properly. For once I would like a SOLUTION from YALL, NOT a band-aid. Please pick up the phone and CALL me.

recently had the pleasure of working with Mister Sparky of Miami for some electrical work in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. The team at Mister Sparky was prompt in scheduling an appointment, and their electricians, led by Caesar and Zachary, demonstrated a high level of expertise and efficiency. They carefully assessed the electrical issues in my home, explained the necessary repairs in a clear and understandable manner, and provided a transparent estimate for the work. Was charged $625 for 2 smoke detectors. This was a $60.00 job They need to refund balance

Technician, Samuel Ramos, arrived. Immediately quoted a $206 diagnostic free. We argued. He finally agreed to provide the free estimate originally offered. We needed him to look at the electrical/fuse box of the AC outside. He asked to see the electrical breaker box in the garage as well. After removing the cover, he gave me a scare with alarming observations of the wiring as outdated and dangerous. The fact that the AC had been installed and the box inspected by the county a little over a year ago was of no consequence. I was informed by Samuel the box was also too high and would have to be moved, possible outside! He would have to replace the box, which with the addition of 5 smoke detectors now required inside the house to meet code by the county will cost $14,600 to $17,194 depending on which of three options I selected. After he left, I discovered he failed to replace the cover of the electrical box correctly leaving wires exposed. His office assured me they would reach out to him. They have stopped responding to my texts. That and his failure to address the fact that he was not wearing a mask even after I told him I was diabetic and could not allow him into the house without a mask, I cannot contract with a company providing this low level of service.

horrible, said he would be here between noon and 4pm, called them and they said their guy would not make....never called to tell me after I waited all day and took a day off from work...unprofessional

They cancelled appointment 2 hours before the appointment time, I received this text message: "I just got an update from my tech and he is stuck on an emergency call and will not be able to make it out today"

Mr. Sparky did good. They were a little on the pricey side but I really can't complain. The techs were absolutely phenomenal and knew there stuff. My tech name was Wayne and he orchestrated everything. My panel looks awesome.

They showed up and got the job done and even though they were a little pricey, id rather pay a little more to get the job done and done right. I cant complain.

Mr. Sparky Previously, I hired a handyman for a few small jobs around the house including installing 3 dimmer light switches. This was a job I could have easily done myself, but since the handyman was also an electrician I had him do the job. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the quality of the electrical work he performed and I wanted a professional electrician to check and correct any electrical issues with the switches. I called Mr. Sparky who sent out a technician later that morning. He inspected the 3 switches and said that he needed to conduct “major diagnosis” on one of the 3 dimmer switches that made a sparking sound, “minor diagnosis” on a second switch and make “a minor adjustment” on the third switch. I was quoted a price of $675 for that work. I told him this price was unacceptably high, so he called his “boss”; 10 minutes later he came back inside and told me the best he could do was $575. Since he was there, I asked for a quote to have an electrical outlet installed up on the eave of our house so I that can install a floodlight. He proposed to tap into a floor light socket from our bedroom, punch through the outer wall and run a 12 foot PVC pipe outside and up the back wall of the house up to the eave to provide the power to the floodlight. I told him that my wife would never allow an external 12 foot PVC pipe installed on the outside of our new house, he said that we could paint the pipe and it wouldn’t be too noticeable. Besides he said, it would be too difficult to crawl through a hot confined attic crawl space to install the outlet any other way. The estimate for that work was $1250+. Finally, the technician asked to check the fuse box in my garage, I thought this was an odd request but I obliged. He noticed that we had a Zap Cap installed on our electric meter outside and said that Zap Caps were totally ineffective and instead offered to replace the Zap Cap with his company’s surge protection device for $1300+. At that point I asked him to leave. The following day I contacted another local, licensed and certified electrician to inspect and make adjustments, if necessary to the 3 light switches. His “diagnosis” of the troubled light switch was completed in less than 2 minutes. He then inspected and made adjustments the other 2 switches The work was professionally and efficiently completed in 25 minutes for $65, one tenth the price quoted by Mr. Sparky. I requested he provide an estimate to install the electrical outlet on the eave of the house without using external PVC piping, I was quoted a price less than one third of Mr. Sparky’s price. My recommendation is that if you need an electrician you stay away from Mr. Sparky. My observation is that this company’s pricing is way out of line.

The company could not give me a quote over the phone and wanted to charge me for sending someone out to give me a quote (that charge would be applied to the final bill), which they waived when I complained. I did get a quote for the replacement of 2 bathroom exhaust fans of $1300 and I would have to supply the fans at an additional cost of $200. I declined in order to give myself time to do a little research. I called another electrical company and I was quoted less than $500, for the fans (2) and the installation. While everyone was professional enough it still doesn't make up for that large of a price difference
