It went very well. They were professional and did not take a long time to unclog the drain. I would recommend their services to others.

The plumber came out and was very nice. He snaked my line because I was having a back up in my bathroom. He was very informative and I would use Mings Plumbing in the future.
Description of Work: He looked at the problem I was having and then he snaked and camera my drain.

06 April 2016 01:10Under Choice Home Warrenty the promise it...Under Choice Home Warrenty the promise it that they will either fix it or replace it. I called to report our bathroom sinks were very slow draining and to have a plumber come to clean them. They sent a plumber, I paid for the service call, but he did not clear the sinks. He said there is anobstruction in the pipes outside the house causing it, told us we had to pay him $450 dollars to run a camera down the pipes and like fools. we did give him a check. This plumber told us that he would handle all the paper work with our homeowners insurance company and that we would get our money back and also the problem would be fixed. He then called his public adjuster who came to review the situation. The P A called the plumber standing right in the same room as my husband, my son, and me and told the plumber that ''there is not enough money in this job '' for him to take it. The PA left and we are out the $450. The plumber told me that he had to come back and run the camera again because its dated and that he would do that and report it to the homeowners insurance company we have. He has cancelled each time he was due to come, we never saw the camera nor the results of what he filmed, finally yesterday he did come but 3 hours late for the appointment. We thought he was a no-show again and had left to run an errand so we were not home. I called Choice Warrenty to report this only to find that this plumber had reported a blockage in the pipes outside our house, with no verification, and that our claim had been denied on account of this. What the plumber did not know was that we had a local company clean the septic tank and lay a new drain field and pipes to the house only last December - there is no blockage in the new pipes outside our house. When I tried to talk with the plumber, it was like talking to a brick wall - no acknowledgement at all and he just kept repeating what he had said over and over and over, talking to me like I was retarded with no knowledge of our situation. I have lived in this house since 1971 and there is nothing I don't know about the construction of this house , the plumbing , electrical, you name it , I know it . When I called the company who sent him , the plumber , out to us, they told me ''its your word against his'' and it seems they take no further responsibility for his not doing the job, nor for the conflict of what he has reported back to them and what we are saying. So , I paid for his service but he has not done the job. He has scammed us also out of the $450 and not come back to show us the results nor to do that job again either as he said he had to do. We were so so so gullible to give this plumber the $450. We had some faith in his integrity only because he was sent to us via Choice Home Warrenty company. I can't believe we were so stupid now. This just happened at the end of January and with all the excuses , first he said he was sick, then busy, then said it was raining and he couldn't camera the lines, ( it was not raining ) then he said his truck broke down. I don't believe him at all. I called again and a woman ? answered and started yelling stupid things at me on the phone, the same things the plumber has been saying over and over that are simply not so. This woman was screaming, yelling, that I don't know what I am talking about that there is some obstruction, yelling, screaming, and this on the day the plumber was over 3 hours late, after telling us it was raining ( it was not ) then that his truck broke down, hah, so I hung up and called Choice again. Same result. This man has scammed us out of $450 and done absolutely nothing . He is not telling the truth to Choice, the company who sent him to us. I think there are more crooks and scam artists than good guys in Florida. What to do now ? We consulted an attorney from Just Answer services - here is her response - 06 April 2016 01:1006 April 2016 07:01Lucy, Esq.Consumer Protection Lawyer ''' Hi,I'm Lucy, and I'd be happy to answer your questions today. I'm sorry to hear that this happened. You can sue the plumber for $450 for the work he never performed that you paid for. You do have to prove that you gave him the money, but if his defense is that he actually DID the work, he has to prove that. If he snaked a camera through your pipes, he should have pictures that show it. Plus, you can use your phone records, text records, emails, etc. to prove that he never showed up. Go through any records that you have. The burden of proof in civil court is by a preponderance of the evidence, which means "more likely than not," you paid him and he didn't do the work. It's also crime to lie to a judge under oath, which stops most people from going to court and saying they did work when they didn't.These types of claims are usually brought in Small Claims Court, which is very user-friendly and does not require a lawyer. You're allowed to ask that you get repaid also for your filing fees. Here is more information.http://www.flcourts.org/resources-and-services/family-courts/family-law-self-help-information/small-claims.stmlAlso, check to see if he's licensed. If he's not, you can report him for representing himself as licensed. If he is, you can report him for charging you for work he didn't do. Enough complaints, and they'll revoke his license.https://www.myfloridalicense.com/wl11.asp?mode=0&SID=Another option is to send a demand letter, via certified mail, giving them one chance to refund your money before you file a lawsuit and report him to the state. If you go that route, give them a deadline - one week or 10 days is probably enough time, but it's up to you. ''' I want my $450 returned to me or the camera timed and dated showing this obstruction ? that is supposed to be in the pipes outside my hose that were just newly laid down by Coker Plumbing when they installed the septic tank drain field in our house 12/ 2015.
Description of Work: Not much - he conned us out of $450 to camera the lines , saying he would file with our homeowners and we would not have to pay anything for the service and repairs, that he would get approval up front for the work to fix the slow sink drains in our bathrooms - that is what we called for in the first place. He snaked the drains out from both sinks but never showed us the camera view of the pipes he then later claimed shows a blockage but outside the house - that is impossible . Both bathrooms have 3 items, sink, toilet and shower. In the past when a toilet backed up, I had fecal matter also in the sinks and showers as well , clearly indicating that all 3 drain into the same pipe under My house then connect to go out to the septic tank. I have lived here since '71 and there is nothing I don't know about this house. We had a camera fun in the past and the plumber showed us the camera as it ran through our pipes . duh h h h h

Response from Mings Plumbing Inc
We were hired by Choice Home Warranty a warranty company that finds Mings Plumbing Inc, to be honest and reliable company to enter any person home. We were notified in regards to 2 sink drains backing up and at that time there were no underground drain problems. The lavatory sinks is connected to a vent soil stack which the clog was in the waste arm. However, as the customer stated fecal matter was in that sink, which is impossible because the sinks are higher than the toilet bowl and fecal matter will never come through a sink. We did our job by snaking the sink and we left with the sink draining as it should. If the customer had an issue with the sinks after we completed our work, we would've been contacted by the warranty company to go back and fix the issue because all work is under warranty. When Mings Plumbing Inc, was at the property to clear the drains the customer then stated that the toilets are always backing up and they already replaced the septic tank system and drain field. We then advised of a camera inspection which would cost $450. The customer agreed and we scheduled a day for us to come back. When Mings Plumbing Inc, went back to do the camera inspection we found that there was an obstruction from the vent pipe from the roof. Which was a foreign object that was lodged in the pipe which is causing the back ups in the toilet. The customer stated that she wants to make an insurance claim. Mings Plumbing Inc, then informed of a PA which we work with. The PA went to investigate and found out the the customer made a claim in the past, which she was paid and never did the repairs. The customer wanted to make an insurance claim committing fraud and the PA stated that he will not commit any fraud. Mings Plumbing Inc, refuse to do any fraud and contacted Choice Home Warranty the warranty company to let them know. Mings Plumbing Inc, urged this customer to take legal actions against us. We have all the documentation and we also gave the customer a copy of the video.
