Mega Moving & Storage

The company is called Mega Moving (www.megamoving.net) out of Miami,Fl but they move people throughout the united states. The company starts out when you get an online quote, if you choose to accept it ,you have to electronically sign a online form locking you into the contract. The people are super nice to you before youre locked in. They quote you a price but they dont tell you about hidden fees.When they pick up your stuff, they give you the real contract, however they assure you that theyll do their best. First of all the movers are never on time. I waited a whole day and was given lip when I politely tried to ask where the truck was. They showed up the next day late and they started wrapping boxes. the hidden fees involved per tape roll used fee, a distance fee from truck to your apt or house, extra fees for packing each box moving out of state and more to be explained. Once they had my stuff I moved and they didnt contact me for a while. I got fed up and started asking where my stuff was. They said they didnt know. I asked when I was gonna get my stuff, they said they didnt know and it wasnt their job to find out it was the dispatch. At this I got mad and kept calling them. They were very rude to me even insulting me. The 16th day without my stuff I called and complained.they insulted me but finally agreed to deliver my stuff. well they told me it would be in a few days. They couldnt give me a time. They showed up 5 days later without notice at my apt while I was at work. I couldnt get off work and they screamed at me saying that if I had an emergency I would be able to get off work. again I had no notice of drop off. They were gonna charge me a rescheduling fee of 400.00 even though they gave me no notice because they couldnt wait till I was off of work. So they had to redeliver my stuff. They decided not to charge fee the fee cause they gave me no notice, but when I called to politely ask about my stuff and when im gonna get it they got angry and threatened to put the rescheduling fee back on. Not to mention the rudeness of the people in the office who put me on hold for hours and hours( no joke) I got my stuff after 26 days of waiting and only because my fiancee knew someone who could pull some weight with the company. The stuff was smashed and the plastic tubs were broken. They stole a bike pump from my bike, and a bunch of wii and xbox360 games.Of course Ill never get those back because the only way to dispute with them is to get a lawyer. I wanted to inform angies list because this is a dangerous company and people are going to get ripped off if they use this company. I want people and urge people to tell everyone not to use this company. I want to save them the headache and the loss of money. As far as costs, I paid 2000 dollars to move a small 2 bedroom apt with not that much stuff across 1 state length, and in the end it took me 26 days to get my stuff and when I got the stuff it was broken and damaged
