They arrived on time, had to get down an alley and negotiate a weird driveway, which they did easily. They went to work right away and were very, very helpful as we didn't really know what we were up against in this storage unit as it belong to a family member who is out of the country. The unit was in horrible shape and we had to make a pathway just to get to the back and a smaller unit that they never saw in the original estimate.. They were well worth the money. They were amazing, very helpful, respectful and smart about packing. I would highly recommend them to anyone and should I move in the future, they will be my first call. Thank you guys, so much for going way beyond what was expected.

I was very impressed with their service. I called them on a Friday after having been disappointed last minute by another moving company, and they were able to squeeze me in on Monday (Labor Day). They were prompt, got to work immediately, wrapped any necessary items (both requested and unrequested), very efficient and quick. They definitely knew what they were doing and so polite and professional while doing it. I will definitely use them again!

After having been disappointed by last mover at the very last minute. I immediately called another company and they referred me to Luis & Son. I was completely surprised by the charm and professionalism of Luis and his team. I spoke to him on a Friday late afternoon and he was able to squeeze me in on Monday (Labor Day) morning. He called me the day prior to confirm our appointment, arrived early at the site, worked swiftly and professionally (wrapping all necessary items) and cleaning the area even though he wasn't required. I was very please with Luis, his son and team member. Very polite and nice. I will definitely use them again.

From the first phone call requesting information to the moment they completed the job, everything was absolutely perfect. The job was handled by Luis himself and his son and a third helper. They arrived not only on time, but early! They quickly - and quietly - wrapped and packed all the furniture, including an antique dining room set that needed special attention. We had packed the boxes ourselves and so those were loaded easily. Luis and Son encountered a problem with unloading as another contractor was delivering an AC unit at the same time as the moving truck arrived. Although a nasty dispute ensued over parking and unloading rights, Luis and his son were mannerly and professional and kept my interests in mind. I was horrified at the way people were behaving toward them, but thankfully the movers were gentlemen throughout. The unloading and setup proceeded with nary a scratch on any item - a first in my many moving experiences. Although this company charges an hourly rate, you can feel confident that the job will be done correctly and professionally. Things that may take the movers more time are explained up front, so I was prepared and well aware of potential pitfalls. To the company's credit, they did the job faster and more economically than any of the other companies I contacted. This was because they had three men on the job, a good system for wrapping and loading, excellent equipment (dollies, etc), and a good attitude. Never once did they take a break from 9 AM until almost 5 PM. Never did they divert from the job at hand, even when strangers were screaming at them. And the end result was perfect! The owner told me they work hard to keep their Angie's List rating, and I believe the rating is well-deserved. Movers are easy to find in Miami, but movers with manners seem too few and far between. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

As soon as they arrived they got right to work. They first wrapped my sofas and wooden furniture with blankets and stretch film. (saran wrap). Then they picked up all of the boxes, and packed my clothes in wardrobe boxes. I liked that once we moved to my new two story house they covered the railings with blankets.They also covered the entrance to the house with their own towels, as not to scratch the floor with their ramp. That's the kind of attention to detail that was impressive. They were kind enough to quickly tape up any unsealed boxes that I might i have missed. Overall they were very in synced in what needed to be done, and very well organized. It was a very smooth move...which is rare to find.
