LOU'S PAINTING ETC

He did a great job for us, he came right out the same day we spoke, gave a very competitive quote, did the job exactly like he said, and the quality of work was exceptional. Would definitely use him again.

Lou did a terrific job, exceeding our expectations! He did the job himself, arriving every morning at 8AM and leaving at 6PM. We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a 2 car garage and a screened porch. He painted everything except the cement wall part of the garage. It all came out beautifully. I received 3 estimates, with Lou's being the lowest. He pointed out that you don't need to apply primer when you are painting the same color. Also, the ceilings normally do not need re-painting. The highest bid came from an Angie's List "Special Ad" painting company who included these 2 unnecessary items. I appreciated Lou's honesty, (without saying anything negative about my more expensive quote). If you decide to have Lou paint your house, you won't be disappointed. This experience also showed me you have to take some of the praise for Angie's List providers with a grain of salt. The people giving the straight A's received by my high bid painter, almost certainly were overcharged. And it doesn't seem possible they received a higher quality job than I did.

He sat down with me and we talked about the type of paint to use. He gave me suggestions on what he thought was best to use. He was very clean and didn't leave a speck of paint on my wood floors. He also polyurithaned my front door. He also removed mildew from my back patio ceiling and then painted it. In both of my bathrooms I had wall heaters. He removed those for me and then repaired the walls and painted to where you cannot even tell they were ever there. He is one of the nicest men you would ever meet. I gave him the key to my house, this is how much I trust him. I would not use anyone but him again.
