I had a leak in my pool and called Leakworks after reviewing the Angies' list reviews for pool leak detection. John (Leakworks Owner) checked out my entire pool and repaired some older leaks that were previously repaired by someone else. After checking the entire pool, which included pressure testing all the lines/returns, John told me that there was a leak in one of the lines leading to the pool spa. The leak was in the plumbing leading up to the pool spa. The plumbing was underground. John found the leak using his leak detection equipment. Then he dug in the exact spot where the pipe was leaking water. The leak was in a very difficult spot to reach, yet John was able to get to it and repair the leak. So far, so good. No more losing 3 inches of water per night in the spa. I would definitely recommend John (Leakworks) for pool leak detection and repairs. John knows what he is doing and is very good at finding and fixing pool leaks. Thank you John!

iFantastic. John promptly emailed and called following receipt of my email. He scheduled us two days later. He was here on time, thoroughly checked out the entire pool and find the lead. Other providers had repaired the leak. Because John saw different colors of epoxy he knew the previous "repairs weren't done properly. All epoxy should have been removed. In any case, he did a great service.

John was very responsive. Answered my texts promptly. I sent him some photos and he gave me an idea of the price. We scheduled a date and he showed up as promised and replaced the pump motors for the price we discussed. I had used John before for leak detection and was happy to find that he also does these types of pool equipment repairs. And I would use him again.

Located the leak in an underground pipe and replaced the pipe right way.

John came last Friday and inspected my pool. Within a few minutes he noticed tiny leaks between my pool tile. He fixed them on the spot using some epoxy. A couple days later I noticed that my water level was still going down. He came back again and added more. John is definitely an upstanding guy. He's very responsive and does great work! Thanks John

I noticed the water level in my pool dropping despite all the rain in the area. I called John after reading the reviews on Angie's List. John replied quickly and agreed to come out within 2 days of our conversations. I was worried because i did not want to keep adding water to the pool. John came out as promised. He was able to identify the source of the leak as a cracked drainage pipe in the spa area of the pool. He was able to block the drainage for that section until I am able to fixed the damaged pipe (which is underground). He did provide a rough estimate for the expected repair for the damaged pipe and was understanding that with the holidays it would be an unwelcomed financial burden. The pool is no longer leaking and I don't have keep adding water to the pool. John was very professional and provided all the information I needed to give my mind rest. I now know what is wrong with the pool.

I read the reviews on Angie's list and decided it was worth waiting a week for LeakWorks to come out. I received a prompt response to my inquiry, we scheduled the appointment, and John arrived on time. He got in the pool and quickly identified the problem (leak by skimmer), showed it to me, looked for other problems then fixed the leak. He also answered every other pool maintenance question I had and identified some small black dots on the bottom of my pool a black algae which I was able to take care of as a result of understanding what the heck they were! The service was punctual, professional, thorough, yet easy and laid back. I trust this guy and would ask him back again if necessary. For now, I can verify that the leak is, indeed, fixed as it was plugged with epoxy a week ago and the pool is maintaining normal levels.

We had a leak in the pool and although he spotted the problem in my skimmer right away, he dove the pool and checked any other possible leaks or trouble spots. He repaired the leak. One week later.... pool is still losing water. John came back immediately and made another repair without an additional fee. Later, we decided to do a more extensive repair and he gave us a really great deal! He showed up when he said he would. Very kind and professional. Easy to work with and has earned the recommendation.

Made an appt. with John. He showed up promptly and we discussed what I had been encountering. The leak was in the spa, but I couldn't rule out other leaks in the pool. John suggested I go ahead and do the whole thing to make sure. It was well worth the extra (minimal) charge. He went through the entire pool and spa and fixed the leaks. It has been a couple of weeks now and I haven't had to fill the pool yet. He is totally awesome!

This experience was worth the cost of my Angie's List Membership! I left an email message for John from Angie's List website, and he called back the next day to schedule a convenient time for an inspection. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do and the costs, as well as the scope of things he could fix. John showed up on time and again reviewed what he was going to do. He conducted a full inspection of my entire pool. He found the leak in the light fixture, cleaned it up and sealed it with epoxy. The leak is gone, but there is more to the service John provided. John took time to explain how everything works and where and why leaks can appear. He also gave some advice on the overall condition of the pool and some things I could do to improve it on my own. He also answered my questions about refinishing my pool, even though he does not do this work. He advised me on what to do with the light fixture and skimmer if I have it done. If you want honest work that is quality and fairly priced, call John. I highly recommend his company.

I called John at the beginning of the week. He advised that he was booked until Thurs, but let me know what to do with the pool until that time. He showed up exactly on time and went into to the pool, checking every possible area for a leak. He found that the drain at the pool bottom had a bad patch. He repaired it under water and even cleaned up the way it looked from the last repair. Once he was there, I showed him a pvc that was patched poorly. He was able to replace that as well. He was quick, yet thorough and cleaned up behind himself. He was a pleasure to deal with.

John was great. He gave me a generous amount of free advice over the phone. I was concerned that there was a suction side air/water leak in my pool plumbing. John happened to be working in the area and stopped by to look at my pool. He didn't find a problem and didn't charge me for the visit. He sounds like an honest professional and I will call him in the future if a pool leak issue turns up.

Called John to get a second opinion on repairs that my pool servicer presented me with. John was extremely helpful on the phone. He had me explain the problem and asked me to read what my pool service said needs to be repaired. He tried to help me over the phone explaining the whole thing to save me $100 fee for his coming out. Thank you John.

John was extremely responsive. He showed up on time. He explained everything as he went along and answered a bunch of other pool-related questions besides. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The job went great, John is a pleasure to work with. Pool now holds the water up to where it is supposed to. He definitely can locate where the leaks are. He done a great job and left the jobsite clean. Would recommend him and use him again.

John came out day after our call. He found the problem and gave us repair options. I really appreciated his willingness to fix our leak problem economically and practically. I would definitely call him again.

We've had a leak in the pool or the spa so contacted John. All of the process went well. He has good communication, is professional and pleasant to deal with. Original Review. I now have an update. I didn't mention that after the initial appointment, the pool was still leaking. We made an appointment for him to return (about a week later), and he said something to the effect that he hadn't missed anything the first time or not fixed it correctly but that something else was going on. He said he put a lot of I believe epoxy on this repair and it should be fine and he was very pleasant. So I didn't mention it in the review. It was fine for a little while. I noticed that the pool seemed like it was losing water over the next several weeks but I always want to be positive it isn't due to the lack of rain, etc. I realized it was absolutely leaking again but we were going on vacation. When we returned, I contacted him (about 7 or 8 weeks later). He's always responsive and polite. He came out and again said that it was not due to what he had done previously, but that a prior repair to the skimmer that he didn't do that was leaking and he fixed it. He asked us to pay his mileage and gas, which was fine. But, now again the pool is leaking within the week of his last visit. When I contacted him this time, he said there is no more warranty and that it has to be a new leak for which he would adjust the price for a new leak search to another $300.00. Now, anything is possible. But it would have to be that he didn't miss anything on the 3 times he was here and/or that the repair was perfect and lasted but that something else is going on. While anything is possible, it seems pretty coincidental that all that could happen in such a short space of time within several weeks. The last time he said it was a different leak in the skimmer that had been previously repaired by someone else and not by him- but the receipt even shows he repaired a skimmer leak. Again, he's always nice, responsive, and anything is possible. But the bottom line is we paid $300 for a repair that never lasted at first and then the second time lasted a few weeks. You'd have to believe something completely new started happening in that relatively short space of time and/or that it's not that the repair didn't last.

Great Service!!! Scheduled quickly, found the problem and fixed it. What more could you ask for?

We have never used this company until today. Went on Angie's List to find vendors and liked John's reviews. We called John and he was very responsive and professional. Made an appt. for today and he was prompt, calling 30 minutes ahead to say he was on his way. Conducted leak inspection of pool and hot tub and promptly made repairs. Gave us thorough explanation of what he did and what to expect. We were pleased with the work and the cost - very reasonable. John is a super nice guy, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

John returned my call and scheduled for the following week. He was punctual, called to inform me he was in route. Arrived as scheduled and in a couple hours he found and fixed my leaks. Very nice, good pricing and was personable.

Everything went outstanding! I would give a strong recommendation for John for anyone in need of a pool leak inspection! When I initially called John, I had to leave a message. Within the hour he called me back. He apologized for not being able to pick up my call, but he then explained to me that he had the flu and was on his way to see a doctor. He promised me he would call me back within a few days after the flu cleared. Just like he promised, he called me about 3 days later. We set up a time for him to visit the house and inspect the pool. He talked to me about preparing the pool for the inspection by making sure the water was clear and the water level was full. John arrived precisely at the time we had scheduled. Unfortunately, when he arrived, the pool wasn't quite clear enough to enable John to effectively complete the inspection. NO PROBLEM. He just gave some advice on what to do and asked that we call him when we're ready. About a week later, we called. He promptly returned to the house with no questions asked. He finished his inspection and quickly isolated the issue and did the repair work. He was also nice enough to give us some helpful tips on maintaining our older pool and how to maximize our filter performance. John is of high integrity and very reliable. It's hard to find these qualities these days!!!

They were excellent. Whenever I had been looking for them, they came shortly thereafter. I liked their responsiveness, service and price. They're top-notch. They did an incredible service and a really good job. I would recommend them highly.
