+ 0 moreI am happy to report this job was beyond my expectations. After getting 3 other estimates which varied a good deal, I met Luis. Seeing he did home remodeling, painting both interior and exterior and numerous other home improvement jobs, I asked for an estimate. His estimate was a few hundred more dollars than the lowest. However, he presented himself in a very professional manner and I automatically felt he was reliable and would do a good job. He was there on time and ready to work. He was careful with all of my belongings, moved and covered everything with care. The popcorn was gone and the 3 rooms and hallways were covered with knockdown by the end of the day. After seeing the colors I had chosen for the living, dining and kitchen he mentioned he was an architect in his native country. He suggested a variation of what I had chosen along with accenting different walls. WOW, was his advice right and free! Luis is a hard worker, reliable and pays attention to detail. Outstanding job!
Description of Work: Popcorn ceiling removal in 3 rooms and 2 large hallways. Knock down texture in 3 rooms and 2 large hallways, and interior painting in same areas. These rooms are a good size and the walls needed some serious work. The ceiling had some very uneven areas where it looked like the previous owners might had tried to patch it themselves. The ceiling had the popcorn removed, the walls had knock down applied, and then the areas were painted. Day 1, furniture covered, baseboards, windows, doors taped and covered, ceiling popcorn removed, skim coats applied to uneven areas, knock down texture applied. Day 2-3, trim work painted, walls painted and items restored to original location. Expert advice given on color scheme and accent painting.
