My son tried at least ten times to schedule this service in the last month. Everyone at the company acted as though they had NO IDEA what this was about. Now Michael Posniak just told my son that he would have to pay again up front and ask Angie's List for a refund! This company is not a good fit for Angie's List. I am emailing Mr. Posniak myself. ORDER NUMBER: 667939 PURCHASED: 4/20/13 $96 FOR HOURS OF CLEANING SERVICE. My son has a one bedroom apartment and works most days so he must schedule on a day he is off work. Please refund this and I will find another service for his gift.
Description of Work: Purchased as a 'GIFT" this offer for my son, Christopher Caruana. The person in charge, MICHAEL POSNIAK told my son that he had to pay the money for the cleaning when I already purchased it.

I was contacted by Chris only two times. The first was a week prior to when he wanted to schedule the appointment. He said he saw our special on Angie's list, but didn't mention it was previously paid for. When he called the 2nd time a few days before his desired appointment date, and I asked for a method of payment, that is when he first communicated to me it was paid for. I told him at that point that I did not authorize Angie's list to charge our customers, and told him I would contact Angie's list and attain a refund for him. He said he would call himself. When I became manager of Kleen1, I was not informed that the previous manager initiated an account that allowed Angie's list to charge our clients. As soon as I became aware, I contacted Connie Holstine in ecommerce at Angie's list, and she was very helpful in informing me how to fix the listing so it does not include Storefront. I tried to explain to both (Member name removed)and her son that this was a misunderstanding, and I'd be happy to provide services to them, but despite my explanation, this lady is under the impression I deliberately tried to have Angie's list collect on Kleen1's behalf, while still attempting to collect a second time from our client. That is absolutely not the case, and as soon as we became aware, I had Connie deactivate Angie's list ability to charge our clients. Within her complaint, (Member name removed) mentioned that I should have read the fine print of our agreement, but again, the previous manager did not leave a record or communicate that we had a Storefront account with Angie's list. I am sorry for anyone's unfavorable experience while I was attaining information about our Angie's list account. Connie Holstine represented Angie's list exceptionally well, and was very forthcoming and understanding with me when I explained my stance. They sent out 2 people to clean. The pros are they bring their own cleaning supplies, spoke English, gave tips on cleaning our hardwood floors and told us about some of the plants in the yard. They were very nice and I would recommend again. The only thing bad I can say is I wish they were a little more detailed. I have never been a big fan of hiring someone to clean but I just didn't have time to do it. I noticed there was still dirt/dust on some of the windowsiles but overall they cleaned ok.
Description of Work: We just bought a house so it was empty when they came to clean it.

It was a nice experience working with them; they were recommended to me through a friend. They were very thorough and I have no complaints at all.
