JP Lawnmower

When my lawnmower wouldn't start or run, I located this business through Angie's List. Although there were no reviews, it was very close by, so I took in my mower. I was met by Rodolfo, who spoke fluent Spanish and very little English. However, he certainly knew the words to talk about my lawn mower. He unloaded it and looked at it very closely while asking me what I needed him to do. Please note: I have done NO maintenance on the mower for over 3 years, so it was pretty dirty and missing a few screws. Rodolfo wrote an estimate on the back of a business card and promised the mower for the same day (before 4pm). He called at noon to report that it was fixed. When I returned to the shop, Rodolfo showed me the new blade, filter and clean oil and demonstrated that the mower started up right away. I noticed that he had replace the missing screws, too. The price for parts and labor was $70. I could have changed the oil myself or tried to find the filter and blade...but at the price of gas these days, it was easier to have Rodolfo install the correct ones. Rodolfo loaded the mower into the car and I paid him. He was extremely courteous. Although the shop is quite small, it is really convenient for the Grove/Gables area. I certainly recommend them. My mower works like new! They also sell and service Scooters and Mopeds.
