Description of Work: The job got delayed several times because he would either not show up or not answer calls. The day he poured concrete, he showed up unannounced and by himself. This is an 80-something year old male who confessed to be partially blind. He needed help to pour concrete, but refused to obtain necessary support. The concrete was a disaster. He left it uneven, with holes and a very rough surface. He poured the remaining concrete on the side on top of our plants. He demanded partial payment. We had to pay the pump twice. We had to rehire another company to break up his job and had it redone again. The job came out to be more costly hat estimated.

 + -1 moreExcellent! Jack is very proud of what he does and it shows in his work. The new patio looks amazing. He also took the time to make sure the work was done properly and also to clean up after he was done so there was no mess with leftover concrete. Even the hoses that he used to wet down the concrete were neatly coiled back up and left where he got them from. He was referred to me by my parents, who used his services for a job where he built a new patio from scratch with included drain irrigation. His quality on that job was equally good, which is why we called him.
Description of Work: Our patio was in bad shape and needed to be redone to make it level. Jack came out and took out the old pavers that were used to fill in the patio in between the existing concrete slabs as well as to extend it slightly, which included some digging work. He poured concrete and leveled it out, making sure to grade it slightly for water drainage, and then used the old pavers to make a nice walkway to our back gate.
