Impact Kings

The job was promised to be completed by Dec 8, 2018. It is Feb 7, 2019 and it is still not complete. IT was a rush order due to the fact that water was coming in when it rained since the hurricane. HE was paid to caulk and stop water intrusion and he did a poor job twice and water still comes in. Johnny Nassar of 15160 SE 136 Street sent someone who did not speak english to do caulking and measurements in November. I asked him for information on the type of windows and doors he was ordering. He showed me a brochure of a French door where I was clear that I wanted a sliding door like the one he was replacing. I followed up with Joshua at M&M construction (Munoz) to ensure he was getting the right thing - a sliding door and windows that opened. He delayed instal from DEc 8 to Jan 8 and then to Jan 17, 2019. In Jan 17, 2019 Johnny told me that he had ordered a french door and windows that had a center panel that did not open. I had specifically said all panels needed to open so I could close storm shutters. He told me pulling a permit normally took him a month. I asked him to get me the info to pull the permit and have not been able to do it as he has not been willing to provide drawings, measurements of what was order and other things necessary to pull a permit. He did give me some paperwork of general window specs not specific to my window, but it is not enough to know that he has finally ordered and paid for the right thing. The engineer listed is not familiar with him and I could not google and find this company- my contractor found him. He said he had the sliding door in stock now and would instal it this week but has not even pulled a permit of given me the info necessary to do so. While the company who hired him seemed to be reputable- they are not happy with him and can not get answers from him either. I have been asking for a set date thigns can be installed- for both the windows I really want and the windows he claims to have ordered. I cannot get any action and meanwhile when it rains- I am at risk of water intrusion. Johnny was supposed to have the windows done and show up on 2 occasions before - once he just didn't answer the phone or call to cancel. The next day he sent someone in the morning to measure but never brought the windows - and they would not have been right if he had. I do not believe anything was ordered or paid for for months -in spite of my request for a rush and telling him time was of the essence. I do not recommend using Impact Kings - even if the are working under a contractor.
