+ 0 moreNot good. The delivery crew botched the job of reversing the door to the new freezer. Then they left in a hurry before the problem was noticed. Home Depot delivery department was not able to help after long calls and periods on hold. Twice the call was disconnected to get rid of the problem. The store manager was able to schedule an appointment with a repair man for next Friday the 9th. We are worried the freezer may not be repairable and may want to give it back and buy one somewhere else.
Description of Work: We purchased a 15.8 CF Maytag freezer on 11/25/11 to be delivered on 12/2/11. We had requested the door be reversed to open from the right. The delivery crew came and were apparently required to reverse the door instead of doing it back at the warehouse. My Wile was at home and I was at work when they came. They apparently had no training in reversing doors and really messed it up. They told my Wife it took longer than they expected and were in a hurry to leave. After they left she noticed that the door would not close all the way. Something is wrong with the hinges. The hurry to leave was because they knew it was not right and did not know how to fix it. Both she and I spent more than an hour each on the phone with Home Depot. The best they could do was to schedule another appointment with a delivery crew next Tuesday the 6th. Not a repair man, just another delivery crew who will be no better at fixing it than the ones who goofed it up. Unfortunately we will not be here next Tuesday. The next open appointment they have after that would be 12/15/11. No one was able to make any change to that schedule. Twice the people who I was dealing with got rid of the problem by disconnecting the phone line. I kept calling back with no luck getting any help. My Wife went to the store to talk to the manager while I was on my way home from work early. Half a day at work lost dealing with this. The store manager tried to get something done with no luck either. He finally got us an appointment with a Maytag repair man for next Friday the 9th. This is really frustrating. There is no reason why this kind of thing should every happen. Right now we would just like to give it back to them and get one from somewhere else. This freezer may not be fixable after what they did to it.

+ -1 moreStore manager Angel Munoz stepped in to clear up mess caused by the Hollywood Fl store. This was not his responsibility by any stretch of the imagination. He isn't being paid to do more work, or be such a decent human being, he is really an angel.
Description of Work: Mr. Munoz made multiple phone calls to get my $900 washer properly installed rather then have me wait 4 more days. He also sent parts, which original delivery people took. He followed up with personal phone calls.
