+ 0 moreI have learned not to trust a national chain and a company representative behind an 800 phone number. Even if it costs a bit more, I would rather give my business to a local contractor who I can have a face-to face conversation with.
Description of Work: I wanted to have my kitchen cabinets refaced, new countertops installed, and replace my sink and appliances. I made an appointment for an in-store consult, they called to cancel the day before. I then called for an in-home estimate, they have missed or cancelled 2 appointments. If they cannot be trusted to keep an appointment, I certainly would not trust them to do as much as hammer a nail in a wall. I have let Home Depot Corporate know of my frustration and have cancelled my credit account with them, and let them know I will give my business to a local provider and forget about a national chain.

+ -1 moreThey are very helpful. If I have a question, they will answer it. If they don't know the answer, they will try to find it. If I need anything, they will do it for me. They showed me a particular tool for the work, but I couldn't use it. They cut it for me at no charge. They offered to do that work for me. I couldn't use the saw, so they offered me a help for that as well. I would recommend others to go to Coconut Grove Home Depot only. The price was a little higher because of the tax in this area.
Description of Work: I went to Home Depot to look for a tool for pull & handles for my kitchen drawers. I also went to get a saw for the wooden dowels to fix the shelf in the kitchen.
