GALLOWAY FARM NURSERY

Let me begin by saying that I have been on the hunt for a local nursery full of quality plants & people who know what they are doing. I am a Master Gardner helping swap out my parent's landscaping with a beautiful but edible landscaping. With this in mind, I visited Galloway Farm Nursery on a whim & it didn't meet my expectations-- it EXCEEDED them! Mike, the horticulturalist there, answered every single one of my questions & found plants to help serve all the needs I had walking in there. Was super sweet, patient & listened, which is rare in Miami, lol. He did an amazing job helping me find what would work best & knew exactly what he was talking about. I learned a lot!! Besides there being really unique types of fruiting trees and edible plants/herbs, there were some really beautiful landscaping non-edible plants there too! I'm probably going back again this week, because I'm obsessed!!

Knowledgeable employee helped me choose appropriate palms. Other employees delivered and planted three palms and another small tree. They also told me how to care for them. All are doing well. I love Galloway Nursery. They have great selection and are extremely helpful.

The staff here is knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. They will listen to any questions you may have and will help you choose the plant that best fits your needs. They are also unobstrusive, as I was able to roam the grounds uninterrupted (unless I asked for assistance, of course). They only carry plants that thrive in South Florida, unlike other chain stores such as Home Depot. The plants I've purchased from them have been healthy and have done very well. I often drive well out of my way to benefit from their customer service and the quality of their products.

Great, First I was looking at plants to get ideas. No one bothered me until I asked for help. The girl was wonderful, honest, nice, helpful, enthusiastic. them I bought fertilizer, again helped by a very pleasant woman.

We would not consider using anyone else. Frank Osorio is by far the best landscape designer we've worked with... It's a delight to work with such a passionate professional. His knowledge of plants and design is exceptional. He's friendly, upbeat, and efficient. His management skills are impressive. We've had him plant grasses, large and small trees, lay rock, and lay many varieties of ground covers. We really look forward to our landscape projects, knowing we'll get to work with Frank.

Frank called and let me know that he was running an hour or so late for our estimate, which was not a problem for me. When he arrived i was wrapping up an estimate with another landscaper. I asked him to go ahead and look over the property; he never did go to the back and appeared upset that i was taking a while to wrap up the other estimate. When i finished with the first landscaper, Frank stated that he was not interested in my job. That he works by word of mouth and expects to be hired on this basis without other estimates being taken. He said that he knew the first landscaper and recommended that i use him- it was strange. I suppose he was miffed that he had to wait. And i expect that he knew that the first landscaper was very cheap. Perhaps Frank thought that price was all that mattered. Too bad because the other guy was too cheap and without impressive ideas. i noticed that Frank had drawn a sketch of the front yard and it looked like he was off to a good start; i would have liked to see what he had to offer.

Called Galloway Farm Nursery after finding them on line. I wanted fruit trees healthy and reasonably priced. After talking to them on the telephone decided to place the order. I found them to be very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I purchased an avocado, papaya, lime, banana and plantain trees. I asked about having them delivered and planted and they referred me to someone who was reputable, reasonably priced, friendly, informative and efficient as themselves. The delivery was as promised. I am very happy and will buy from them again.

I made an appointment for 11/15/13. The appointment was kept. Frank arr ived. I explained to him my desires. He made helpful suggestions. Afterwards, he told me the amount the project would cost. I accepted and gave him a down payment. The job was scheduled to be completed the next week. When Frank came to my home, I tried describing to him plants that I wanted. He wasn't able to figure out my description. Without him knowing, I visited their nursery to see if I saw the plant I tried to describe. It was there (eugenia globes). I left a message for Frank to contact me, since I found the plants I truly wanted. Frank contacted me. On the day before the project was scheduled, Frank called me early that morning to ask if he could change my date to the next day, because he was behind on a project due to rain. I agreed and he thanked me. The project was handled after that with no complications. I adore my new landscaping. Frank was very knowledgeable in the field of horticulture.

I would highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are well stocked. It is a family type undertaking that has very knowledgeable personnel. The price is about average.

There were lots of people around but most of them spoke Spanish only. We had to find a translator to help with our questions. The owner was very busy and we just needed to get prices and stuff and there was a little bit of difficulty on the communication side. The owner is very knowledgeable and made some recommendations and everything was fine.

I had to wait about five minutes for assistance due to a lot of people shopping at the same time. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

It was an absolute joy. Everything was perfect. They did everything that they said they were going to do plus a little more. It looks great. We didn’t get any other estimates and so it is hard for me to really judge on the price. I feel that they are not the cheapest folks in town but we were very happy with what they did.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT AND BEAUTIFUL JOB ON OUR YARD. THE CREW WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. I EVEN PURCHASED MORE PLANTS FROM THEM RECENTLY.
