+ -1 moreWOW... where do I start. DO NOT USE THIS VENDER Says he has 20 years experience. Either incompetent or doesn't believe in quality workmanship or meeting customer needs. Asked for a lift to my garage door and install new garage door opener - Took my leftover part, which I need to fix his shortcuts - HE COULDN'T get garage door opener to work, had to disassemble - Scratch my garage door fairly bad and I need to have it repainted - Cracked the frame of the door jam on the top edge -Unable to install the lift and keep my door handle on the door as I requested. I now have no door handle and need to hire someone else. His response "If you want it done that way you should have paid the extra money to someone else that could do it. If I could give a zero star I would

+ -1 moreDaniel was very responsive since I sent a message. He called me within 24 hours and asked me for pictures of the gate and motor. Next day, he called me to go and work on it. I was surprised of his promptness and made arrangements for him to take care of it. It was great to see that the gate was running when I got home a bit later that day. I strongly recommend Daniel. Glad that I found it on Angie’s list. First tine I used this service.

+ -1 moreG and G is an excellent outfit! I had originally hired them to service the original motor on my electric gate which was there when we purchased the house. On both occasions G and G was prompt, courteous and professional. The estimates were exactly what we were charged. This last time the motor was not working at all and needed to be replaced. G and G made installing it a priority. They had told me they would install it two days after they came on premises but would call if they could reschedule a non-emergent servicicing the following day...which they did. When they did arrive, they did so at the designated time and installed it quickly and efficiently. I hope not to have to call on them for a while, but would not hesitate to do so for annual servicing or any issue that may arise. I highly recomend them!

+ -1 moreG and G were impressive. A small yet well-equipped family operation were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They were also punctual, arriving a few mintues before the appointed time (which was 9:30 am on a Saturday). Sometimes, it's the little things that make an impression. Our gate motor is surrounded by mulch. Naturally, as they knelt and stood and knelt and stood, some mulch was kicked onto the pathway which leads to the front door. When they had finished working, they asked for a broom to sweep up after themselves. I appreciated their consideration. Hiring G and G was a very pleasant and satisfying experience and I will not hesitate to hire them again.
Description of Work: After 15 years of exposure to the south Florida elements , one of the bolts securing the gate motor's chain failed. G & G replaced the bolt and applied copious amounts of grease to the chain, while servicing the motor, its belt was found to be on its last legs. I watched as they removed it and demonstrated to me a multitude of deep cracks along its circumference. Fortunately, they were equipped with a replacement. Before they left, I remembered that we had lost one of our remote controls, and with the other control being a bit temperamental, I inquired about replacements. They were able to provide a new pair, not an universal control, but the one that goes with the equipment and programmed the units to work with both our gate and garage. They work on the unit for aproximately 2 hours between repairs and adjustments to the unit, including the chain, bolts, belt, and programming the remotes.
