It is hard to find today a company that is Honest and Professional. Florida Standard Roofing is both. My insurance company sent me a letter stating that I needed to replace my roof because they found some things wrong with it. I called several roofers including others shown on Angie's List, they all gave me quotes to replace my roof and left. I called Danny he came over when he said he would "on time" and he told me I did not need a new roof. He went Above and Beyond by sending an email to my carrier advising of his findings. He gave me a proposal for repairs to my flat roof and repairs to the shingles. The work was done when he said it would be "on time" no problems, he provide my insurance carrier a Roof Report of work completed including pictures. I Highly recommend Florida Standard Roofing! As I said before its hard to find a company today that is honest and willing to help you not just take your money. Thank you Danny. Florida Standard Roofing Inc. was GREAT!!! Danny and his crew are extremely professional. They arrived on time the date we had scheduled and completed the work in a prompt manner. The craftsmanship on the work provided was also top grade, and I was extremely pleased with their overall service. About a month ago during a wind storm my neighbors trampoline was picked up and landed on my roof, multiple tiles were broken and a leak was formed. I heard of Florida Standard Roofing through a friend and i decided to give them a call, Daniel Crespo VP answered the phone and we scheduled an appointment for that same day, He was prompt and on time and he explained in details what needed to be done in order to correct the issue. I told him I was in a hurry to fix this leak, within 2 hours I had a proposal. I liked his honesty and professionalism and decided to hire them. Work was scheduled for the next day, they showed up early and Mr Crespo was there to meet him, he gave them instructions of what needed to be done, we was present at the job site for a majority of the time and only left to pick up some additional materials. Once they finished they did an excellent job of cleaning up and Daniel did one final walk through to make sure everything was ok. I later received his invoice and truly appreciated the fact that he included pictures of the work done, before during and after. We have had several rains after the repair and Im happy to say that we have had no leaks, I would highly recommend Florida Standard Roofing to any one looking for a quality and honest company with a fair price.

Florida Standard Roofing was recommended to me by a family member that has used them in the past, I needed to replace my shingle roof and flat roof. My main contact was Mr Daniel Crespo, VP of operations, I called him and we set up a meeting, he came out measured the roof and then came to talk to me and asked what I was looking to get done. I told him I have no idea so he said he would send my a few different options for the main roof and flat roof he went into details of what each option would be . I received his proposals with-in 24 hours, he sent me 4 different options, with different prices and warranties. I had a lot of questions and called Mr Crespo back and asked him if he could come back to my house to explain, we set a second meeting and he should up to my house with Tile and shingle samples, pictures of houses they have done in the past and literature of the products, I bombarded him with question, I must have asked him over 50 questions and he took his time to answer each of them to my satisfaction. I told him I would i needed some more time before i made me decision. After consulting with my family we decided to hire them, I called and informed Daniel and he came to my home to get all the permit paper worked signed. The day of the job Daniel and his boss were on site directing their employees on where to park, they covered some plants I did not want damaged and moved some furniture in the patio out of harms way. The overall process went smoother than I expected, at the end of each day the employees would do a good job of cleaning up and Daniel would walk around the house to make sure nothing was left behind. He was there to meet the inspectors and kept me updated daily on the progress of the job. To make a long story short hiring Daniel and his company was the best decision I could make, they were very professional, honest, and very patient with all my demands. I have already recommended them to a few of my co-workers and will continue to do so. Very happy homeowner here.. Thanks Florida Standard Roofing!!!!!

I have used Florida Standard Roofing to fix various repairs in a couple of my proeprties throughtout the year. The repairs ranged from small leaks to water proofing a metal roof I have in the back of one of my properties, the metal roof waterproofing happenned over 3 years ago and it's been fine ever since. My main contact is VP Daniel Crespo. Waht I realy like about this Company, is that they are always accessible and their prompt response. Will use them everytime.

...Just a quick overview: I am not the type to write reviews, Lets face it I'm lazy... I have receintly had issues with contractors, that was the reason for joining Angies List. I noticed it was time to replace my roof, so to get the most of my membership I called 8 Angie's List A Rated contractors to come and provide a quote. Of the 8 - 2 did not show, One pushed me out 2 weeks (I canceled the appointment) and I received 5 written quotes within a 7 day period. About Florida Standard Roofing. They were actually the first company I called. Daniel answered the phone and was able to come over within the Hour. Daniel arrived when he stated, and proceded to inspect our roof. After the inspection he invited me on the roof to point out a couple of things to help preserve my roof in the future, he also explained what I could do as the homeowner to save money on Maintenance in the future. My wife and I bombarded him with questions (Remember, we had some Contractor issues a few weeks earlier) and he took the time to answer each one. He explained what was covered under the "Grandfather Clause" of our roof, How he would go through and re-nail the roof to ensure it met the code. and left physical samples for us to pick the color. Other quotes I received wanted to charge me extra for re-nailing the roof, or informed me I had to replace all of the plywood. Once we made our selection, I called Danny to schedule the work. He worked with us on our schedule and we agreeded to a start date. The day before the work was to start, Danny's boss (the Owner) called and asked is they could drop off the garbage container so they could be ahead of the game. The next morning, the workers arrived on time as scheduled, and Danny was there to meet with us and explain what was going to happen. The team was perficient and put in a full day. Throughout the day both Danny and the Owner stopped by to inspect the progress and follow up with us on the progress. At the end of the day, the shingles were removed, Rotten Plywood was replaced, all the plywood was re-nailed and the felt paper was installed to make sure the roof was water tight. When the team left, all of the debris was picked up and the yard was spotless. Danny came by and inspected the property, and explained the inspection process. We had to go through 3 inspections, Felt installation, Initial Shingle layout, and Final Inspection. We made it through all 3 inspections with only a few minor issues on the final inspecton. Our Ridge Vent was too large per code, but Danny had his team on site the next day to correct the issue and re-scheduled the inspection which we passed. So basically here is the deal Fair Price (and happened to be the lowest in my case) No added expenses for work that should be included Continious communication before and after the work was performed Complete set of documentation to provide the insurance company Full GAF warranty One happy customer! I would hire Florida Standard Roofing again...

They have not completed the work yet. Daniel Crespo, Vice President of Operations informed me that this would take about two weeks; and this was about two weeks ago. At this point I can only respond, "so far, so good."

I mainly dealt with the vice president of the company. Daniel, who was attentive from the beginning and provided a continuous update of the project throughout the entire time. I was kept informed! Most of all there was supervision on site.

I had a great experience overall with Florida Standard Roofing. They came in and did an excellent job with the installation of the new concrete tiles to my house in 2010. There were no delays or unexpected fees/costs, which I really appreciated. They were honest with me from the beginning, responsive to all of my questions and concerns, provided a timeline of what would be done by what time frame, and lived up to it completely. I have already recommended them to others currently looking to take care of their roof. The service was very professional, yet friendly and personable. All of the inspections passed without a hitch and their overall work did not inconvenience my family in any way. Florida Standard Roofing was refereed to me by my neighbor which had previously contracted them to perform work on their roof. I contracted them to do a complete roofing system on my home. The result was excellent, they were very professional and work very quickly. They explained to me step by step of the process they would be going through and at the end of every day they did such a good job cleaning all trash and derbies that it appeared as if they were not even working. The price they gave me was very good as well, In the end I am completely satisfied with the work and results and would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on there roof
