We got 3 estimates from different roofing companies. Florida Standard Roofing was selected since the pricing was reasonable and also 2 years ago they had completed some work in our old roof. Daniel Crespo was our main contact. He explained me in details not only the work to be performed, but also some financing options available (YGreene). I wanted to add a second water barrier and he was honest enough to suggest to contact my insurance company to see if it made sense to do it or not. The work was performed really really quick. The crew worked really hard trying to have everything cover to avoid the rain. Supervision was always in place. Everything went smoothly to the point that in around 20 days I had the new roof installed and inspected by Miami-Dade. Daniel was always available and even texted me at night to provide me with daily updates (something extra that was not part of the job) I was lucky enough to be able to find a really professional roofing company in Miami where customer's satisfaction goes always first that's why I will always recommend them. Project was completed in time, on budget to our satisfaction. Thanks Daniel and the rest of the crew!

After reviewing many other roofing companies, I came across Florida Standard Roofing and that was it. i spoke with Danny from day 1 and the process from start to finish was excellent. The estimate was very reasonable for a big roof(57 squares) and I was always treated with a high degree of respect and professionalism. The process took 3 weeks and Danny was in total contact with me as to the procedure, times and inspections. I do not recommend many people, however I will stand by Florida Standard Roofing 24/7/365.

Florida Standard was very professional and responsive. They provided a quote in one day and were able to resolve any concerns very quickly. They provided us with regular updates throughout the process. They also dealt with all of our city's tedious permit processes. Finally, the finished product looks beautiful.

The workmanship was excellent, the crews were courteous and neat - - doing daily clean up around the property. The project was completed on time and we are certain that it was done at a substantially lower cost than comparable roof vendors we had researched!

The process went very well. Although they did use nails that were too long for a partial exposed beam roof, they corrected the problem and everyone was happy.

Excellent! I have had experience with roofers before and this Roofing Company was quite the opposite. They were professional, responsive within minutes, and very accommodating! I cannot say enough about them!! And the cost was the best out of all the roofers we interviewed too!

From the 4 companies that I requested estimates from, although all but one were satisfactory, I had the best overall impression from Florida Standard Roofing. Their price was not the cheapest, but not the highest either. Danny was prompt to reply to my emails, and always had a detailed and satisfactory explanation. He actually replied much faster than expected; day or night, and even from abroad. They also provided a list of roofing terms and links to materials and installations, which are very helpful. In general, a very professional team and I would definitely recommend them. It took a few weeks to complete, but I appreciate the work was not rushed.

We recently purchased our home. During the initial inspection, we were told our roof was only 7 years old. Upon further inspection, however, we discovered that the tiled portion of our roof (around 2,000 sq. ft.) was over 22 years old?it had been done just after Hurricane Andrew! We decided to put on a new roof, and we are very happy with the results. Mr. Crespo and his crew were highly professional and punctual, and they did a fabulous job on my roof. We were guided through the process?Mr. Crespo even took us to see different tiles, and he explained to us what the differences were. Every bit of the permitting work was taken care of by Mr. Crespo?the tiles and the roof were approved by the City of Coral Gables without a hitch. We decided to go with Florida Standard Roofing even though their estimate wasn't the lowest because of Mr. Crespo's attentiveness and professionalism, and we are very happy with our decision. Florida Standard Roofing is an excellent company, and we would use it again in a heartbeat.

Mr Crespo was excellent. Although we ended up using a different company for the re-roof, his level of professionalism deserves an excellent review. He provided estimate on schedule, and then answered many phone calls and emails regarding the job. His estimate was on par with other companies. He spent quite a bit of time with me, and was excellent at explaining the process. I will probably be contacting him in the near future. Unfortunately, we did not expect as much soffit damage as we uncovered during our re-roof and the company that is doing our roof does not repair below the fascia line. I suppose that was a question that I should have asked, but didn't think to. I will be contacting Florida Standard for an estimate for the soffits, gutter system, and to double inspect the prior job.

Daniel Crespo was very good about answering all and I mean all of my questions. I wanted to compare the other estimates to his estimate. He was the only one to take the time to compare his list of supplies and work to be done to the other quotes. As I told Daniel I wanted to break down each quote to be able to compare each quote. Daniel also gave me 3 different quotes since I wasn't sure in which direction I wanted to go when I replaced my roof, type of material, insulation or no insulation etc. His company was a little bit backlogged once I signed the contract but he kept in touch to let me know when he could start my job. Was very happy with the completed job. I have been very thankful to the quality of work provided by this company since I have been safe and dry under my new roof with all the recent rain. Would use Florida Standard Roofing, Inc. again.

I contracted Florida Standard Roofing to install a brand new roof on my home. First, the owner, Mr. Crespo is punctial, he arrived when he said he would. He showed my wife and I various samples of spanish tiles and explained in detail the difference of each tile. He pulled all the permits, he provided daily reports and his crew cleaned up before leaving our home each day. Mr. Crespo walked us through the entire process from beginning to end. The process took approximately a month, everything ran smoothly without delays. My roof looks great! I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

Our roof needed replacement and due to the high pitch (9:12) it was not easy to find a qualified roofing company that would take on this job. Daniel is fantastic with his communications, by e-mail or phone. Each time we had a question he would respond almost immediately and find a solution to the issue we were having. He is a pleasure to deal with and very professional. The job was a lot more work than the replacement of a standard roof due to the high pitch. Scaffolding had to be erected all around the house for their workers to have safe access to and from the roof. We were informed of everything that was going on during the whole process and we are very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Florida Standard Roofing for a roof replacement job.

Beautifully. In late May 2015, I contacted the company from abroad where I currently reside. From their first written correspondence I knew that this was a business run by educated staff. After speaking with Mr. Daniel Crespo, Vice President of Operations, he sent me, via email, a complete package of information on roofing, a list of references, proof of their Construction Industry License, a comprehensive and competitively priced proposal, and the Terms and Conditions of their contract. The information on roofing provided was so complete that I felt comfortable selecting the roofing material. They proceeded to obtain all permits from city hall. They began the work when they indicated they would, and finished when they said they would. Mr. Crespo was a pleasure to deal with and I respected his advice on several issues that came up. He went above and beyond by fixing the pool screen where it connects to the roof of the house although this is not something they normally do. The crown in Florida Standard Roofing, Inc.´s service came when Mr. Crespo advised me that they had over-billed me and were returning $5,950 to me! In my experience, this level of integrity is a rarity these days. In sum, I laud their professionalism, punctuality, responsiveness, and the quality of their work and would highly recommend them to others. I feared that doing business from thousands of miles away would be a nightmare, but Florida Standard Roofing, Inc. came through with flying colors!

The company took time to explain the whole process, including all of the options. Due to the date chosen, it rained occasionally during the roof replacement. The company took great care to make sure that when they were done each day, the roof was "water-tight" so no leaks occurred that night. This was my primary concern. I am very happy with the service provided!

Misrepresentation of materials used. You replaced the clay tile on my roof with a cement tile for the sole purpose of making more money. You did it knowing you were using a cheaper material, yet wanted to charge premium prices. Failing to disclose that the material you used was prone to develop mold and discoloration and that it was inferior to the one?s you removed from my roof. Price gauging-you collected 11,025 dollars and wanted to collect an extra 4,500, bringing the total cost of my roof 15, 475.00. Damage to my property- cracked a wall in my bathroom, damaged my drive way first by staining it then by painting it with the wrong paint. Damaged the freshly painted floor on my back porch by parking your heating machine on it when it was raining and leaving a tear on the newly painted floor. Damaged railing on my front porch. Failing to comply with the set time schedule of 3 weeks. Adding to the price after the initial price quote Trespassing on my property. Having one of your employees using a key provided to you for the sole purpose of allowing the entrance of inspectors. Failing to call when you were to come as you were asked to do repeatedly. Failing to provide a physical address for your company. Misrepresenting your office address as the one above 5849 West Flagler Street, then replacing it with another mailing address and not the true and physical location of your company. Failing to provide a breakdown of the charges incurred and the price of materials used on the work in my roof. Failing to disclose or provide the discounts guaranteed on Angie?s List. I obtained a quote from another roofing company called Rapid Response and they set the price of the roof replacement at 10,000

I would HIGHLY recommend this company! They weren't necessarily the cheapest roofing company (I obtained three quotes and they were the most expensive), but their professionalism and communication was the best, bar none! I asked TONS of questions regarding their proposal, even comparing the language it contained with the other two I received, and they took the time to explain everything clearly and carefully. Even with the many, many emails I sent them before the contract was signed, they always responded IMMEDIATELY and never made me feel as though I was a bother. They started the project exactly on the day they said they would and actually completed it earlier than I first thought they would. I even had a situation with my satellite dish needing to be removed and then eventually remounted, and they worked on that area of the roof extremely quickly so that I wasn't without TV for very long. They were SO ACCOMMODATING in every way! I would GLADLY use them again, though I shouldn't need to since it is certified for 25 years! They were worth every penny I spent, mainly because of the quality of the product they used in redoing my roof but also because of their professionalism! A class act for sure!

Everything went GREAT from start to finish. Danny, the owner's son came out the day after we called to look at the leak area and to go over what they could do. He was very thorough and took whatever time I needed to answer all my questions. The next day he emailed me a proposal with 2 options: 1 for if the source of leak was under shingles and easy to repair, and the other if they needed to take up all the shingles and paper around a decorative copper piece near the leak source to find and completely seal the leak area. Danny told me up front that he was going on vacation the next day but that his Dad, Luis would follow up. When I called to accept the proposal Luis was prompt to follow up and three days after I called him the crew was there with Luis. Luis went over everything with me to understand fully what I wanted and had the lead worker, Marcos listen in to ensure he knew first hand what to do. Luis then left to get the materials for the repair. The job was done in about 5 hours the same day. The job required was option 2 - the more extensive job around the transition to the copper piece. Marcos explained along every step what he was finding and using to repair the leak. They used a heavy duty self adhering roofing underlayment (no nails to be potential future issues) and used some heavy duty sealant around some suspect areas on the copper piece. They covered everything with matching asphalt shingles. Next, they did the maintenance around the rest of the roof sealing all potential areas of penetration (bathroom stacks, chimney, etc., and checked and repaired other areas with shingles that had risen a little and 3 of them were caused by nails that could have been future leaks. Tthey finally used some heavy duty mastic/roofing "bull" to cover over where the lower roof meets the siding of the higher part of the house. They cleaned everything up - spotless- and were true professionals.

The service we received from Florida Standard Roofing and Daniel Crespo was incredible! They replaced my grandmother's tiled roof within the time frame and price they quoted. My grandmother was extremely pleased with the work and how they cleaned up after every day of work. Daniel was fantastic to work with. He patiently walked us through the entire process and was always available to answer any questions. He was always quick to respond to any emails and phone messages. I've never experienced this level of professionalism before. I would highly recommend Florida Standard Roofing and Daniel Crespo to anyone who is looking to do any kind of roof work.

I was extremely pleased with the service of Danny Crespo and Florida Standard Roofing. Danny responded extremely to my initial request in May (we had just purchased our home) and was very helpful in many ways. We had a complex insurance situation due to the home needing a new roof when it was purchased. Danny was extremely helpful in providing information and documentation, helping us choose materials for the new roof, and guiding me through every step required in the process. Danny was extremely patient with my many questions and need for him to speak to banks, insurance companies, inspectors and other resources. All work was done when Danny promised it would be done, and the overall project was completed for the amount initially quoted. I would highly recommend Danny to other homeowners. Danny is a great resource and extremely professional, and Florida Standard Roofing did an exceptional job on the project at my home.

Everything went smooth from picking out the tile to installing the new roof. I could not have asked for anyone better. Florida Standard Roofing did a spectacular job on my new roof. I used them earlier in the year to fix a leak. Months later I decided to redo my entire roof and it was a no brainer who to use. Danny was a true professional and extremely honest. I never felt as I was being ripped off or lied to. The Florida Standard Roofing team does amazing work and I recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof or roof repair.
