Estimator was on time offered some options. I left a deposit with the estimator and was told service would be done in 10 to 14 days. The installers performed the work 10 days after the estimate. 2 of the fence posts support my back gate. There were special concerns with both of these posts. One has sprinkler heads on either side of the post. The other has a gas line connected to my grill less that a foot away. The installers dug up the sprinkler heads to move them out of the working area and replaced them when finished. They were also very careful not to stray too far from the other post work area in order to avoid the gas line. I'm very happy with the approach as well as the result.

When I first called 1st Fence back in February of 2008 I thought Ronnie was wonderful. He came when he said he was going to come, and gave me a written estimate on the spot. He also did all the work for the permit. The instillation went fine and the gentleman who installed my fence was wonderful and a very hard worker! On inspection day (4/29/08) before the inspector showed up Ronnie went around the property to inspect the work himself. He tugged at my double door PVC gate and said it would need another cane that he would come and install it after the inspection. The inspector came, I paid Ronnie the remaining balance. I called him a few times after the inspection. Ronnie would tell me the cane was in his truck and he would come by and install it. I finally gave up and went on with my life. Through out the years I noticed when we would have a wind storm the gate that did not have the cane on it would always swing open. This July I was doing something outside and noticed that 6 bolts/screws were missing. Both the top and bottom hinges are barely on the gate and are both being held by one bolt/screw each. I called Ronnie immediately at the beginning of July in which he told me he was going on vacation and when he came back he would come by and look at the gate. I waited for him to return and gave him a few days to get back in the swing of things. He came out the first week in August and showed me that he still had my cane in his truck. He told me he would install the cane and fix the hinges free of charge that Friday or Monday. This news made me very happy! August 5 & 8 came and went. I called Ronnie up and got his voicemail. I was now calling once a week and getting his voicemail. He did pick up on Aug. 24, 2011 and he told me he would be by on Friday to fix the gate. August 26 came and went. I have since called three more times since August 24th and as of September 17th I am very sad to report that my hinges are still hanging and I never received the cane that I was promised back in 2008. I am very disappointed because as I stated at the beginning of my story I really did like Ronnie and his company. I am just so sad to be very disappointed with my experience with 1st Fence once my fence was put up.

Contractor was not professional in appearance, in a big rush, and not on time. The woman who answers phone sounds like his grandmother and does not have much knowledge about fencing from some of the questions she asked. He also sub-contract out the work. He goes out decides if he wants the job and gives estimates. His business card and his vehicle did not display his fencing contractor number.

FIRST FENCE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB PUTTING UP THE FENCE. NOT ONLY WAS THE JOB QUALITY WORK, BUT IT WAS DONE RATHER QUICKLY. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FIRST FENCE TO ANYBODY NEEDING A FENCE INSTALLED.
