I employed Carlos and his team do a complete renovation for me. Carlos was a great salesman and sold me his bungalow package that was an all inclusive price for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. This price was originally very competitive with others and I was told it included all labor, materials and I could choose from any items from his preferred vendors. His original estimate for construction was 2 months. While Carlos subs did a good job, the job took over 5 months, with multiple items taking even longer, it cost approximately 15K more than expected as I was informed that several things I wanted we’re not included in the all in one price, and communication between Carlos, myself and the team was poor where often scheduled times were not met. Lastly I had personal items in my home that were stored in a separate room that was not being renovated that were unexplainably disposed of by his crew. When the workers had to come again to do touch up work they got paint on my couch.

Evolves construction did a great job remodelig my bathroom.

In my bathroom they did a very good job and met the agreed time that is something important when you do a remodeling in your house and you must continue living in it, Carlos was a key person because he was the one I talked to from the beginning and he was also the person who made the final delivery of the work, with him we talked about the details he wanted and they achieved it as I indicated.

The craftsmen Evolves employs are good and do a decent job. A few areas did need retouching but they came back and fixed them so that they looked good at time of completion. The communication, schedule coordination left a lot to be desired and ultimately the job took far longer than needed to complete. Additionally, the cost was on the more expensive side. If you work with them employ a project manager and purchase the materials you need.

Never, Never, Never put yourself through this debacle. This is the worst experience Ive ever had in my life! Do not work with Carlo unless... You dont mind a contractor whom... makes incorrect measurements causing delays doesnt cover your brand new luxury floors, doesnt care for your items tells you one thing, then it changes over and over, then tries to charge you extra won't get the job done on any schedule order the wrong items or doesn't order at all takes down your previous lights and disposes of them even when you asked him not to breaks an outdoor well pump  runs the AC with the windows open so you have to replace 3 AC units!! makes you do his project management job because of zero organization, process, or system never goes to the project to project manage; and he doesnt know what going on and doesnt check the work of subs does follow installation instructions even though you gave it to him months before, creating more delays require you to remind him about the same thing over and over because he does not listen or write anything down offers you a package that doesnt give you enough spend in materials for you does not finish drywall in kitchen behind cabinets, leave gaps all over, no tape, mud or primer unless you beg, and this is after some cabinets are already up. Worst of all, he doesnt answer his phone. He will not communicate with you after youve paid him.   The only reason this project is moving is because the customer is the project manager, not Carlos. Be warned.  Do yourself a favor and pass. This is NOT a reflection of his subs, this is purely about the GC, Carlos. and Evolves  Do not work with Evolves unless you are willing to risk above.

We hired Evolves Construction to remodel and restore our rental property. Carlos and team provided excellent, top tier service that exceeded my overall expectations. Throughout the engagement, Carlos was available and accessible for my questions and concerns. He was receptive to my feedback. I am extremely pleased with the end results of my condo renovations . I highly recommend this company and intend on contracting with Carlos for future renovations.
